Be holy, because I am holy – 1 Pet. 1:16

COMMENT BY T. AUSTIN SPARKS

"………When we speak on this matter of holiness and sin and unrighteousness, and, perhaps begin to feel something about it and ourselves, it is just possible for us to wrongly call to our rescue certain Scriptures; wrongly call to our rescue "there is therefore no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus” and wrongly take the covering of that Scripture and such like Scriptures and hide behind them. There is a difference: ‘Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? God forbid!’ See the point? Oh yes, we will always be very imperfect, always be much to be done in us until the end, in cleansing, sanctifying and saving... it has to go right on. And if we walk in the light as He is in the light we have fellowship one with another, that is, Himself and ourselves, the blood of Jesus Christ His Son goes on cleansing us from all sin. But there is such a thing as not walking in the light and excusing it by saying, ‘Yes, I know I am very imperfect and I am a sinner but there is no condemnation in Christ.’ You see what I mean? Well, you can't, we can’t get away with that.

"These people in the churches in the Revelation, in the seven churches, in those where there was wrong, when it was mentioned to them their wrongs, ‘Thou hast there this and that and the other thing, this thing I hate’ they might have said: ‘But there’s no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus; the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin.’ That won't do. That won't do!

"………We must be a purified people. We must be walking in holiness. We must, with all the value of the precious blood cleansing, and the Holy Spirit sanctifying, we must be walking in the light and we must correspond to the Lord for association.”

AMEN.

"My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not." 1 John 2:1

I personally will not accept or make peace with any sin. No excuses. If Jesus said I can be holy, holy is what I will be, and I don't care if every theologian in the world disagrees with me. I read in God's word "Blessed are the pure in heart", "Go and sin no more" and verses like that on practically every page of the Bible; I also hear the devil telling me "it's impossible to be holy, every person sins, righteousness is a pipe dream" etc. and sadly some pastors, authors and church leaders say the same thing. I choose to believe God's word.

Hi Nigel,

You said, "If Jesus said I can be holy, holy is what I will be……”

Amen.

We need to walk in the Light and Jesus Himself will make us holy.

1 John 1:7 ”“
but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Heb. 13:20-21 ”“
Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord, equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

1 Thess. 5:23-24 ”“
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.

Jude 24-25 ”“
Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.

WALKING IN THE LIGHT

Jesus is the Light. His life is the Light of man

John 8:12 ”“
Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, "I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life."

John 1:4 ”“
In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men.

1 John 5:11-12 ”“
And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.

Therefore, to walk in the Light is to walk in Jesus Himself, to walk in His Name.

And, to be filled with Light is to be filled with the life of Jesus which is Jesus Himself.

Gal. 2:20 ”“
I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me……

WALKING IN JESUS’ NAME

Acts 3:6 (KJV) ”“
……Silver and gold have I none……
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

The spiritual and eternal principle here is:

I have nothing of worth and enduring value in myself.

I am just like the grass and all my glory like the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls off (1 Pet. 1:24).

Isa. 64:6 ”“
………all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment;
And all of us wither like a leaf,
And our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.

Therefore, I will worship in the Spirit of God and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh (Phil. 3:3).

Jesus Himself will be my wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption (1 Cor. 1:30).

I will find all my treasures of wisdom and knowledge in Jesus alone (Col. 2:2).

2 Cor. 3:5 (KJV) ”“
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

Phil. 3:7-8 ”“
But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ. More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ,

Ps. 20:7-8 (NIV) ”“
Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.
They are brought to their knees and fall,
but we rise up and stand firm.

We will leave our broken cisterns that can hold no water and return to God, the fountain of living waters (re: Jer. 2:13).

We will not love the world nor the things in the world.

1 John 2:15-16 ”“
If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.

Ps. 87:7 (YLT) ”“
All my fountains are in Thee!

Ps. 42:1 ””
As the deer pants for the water brooks,
So my soul pants for You, O God.

Yes, ’tis sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just from sin and self to cease;
Just from Jesus simply taking
Life, and rest, and joy, and peace.

Rom. 14:23 ”“

To sin is to fall short of the glory of God.

Rom.3:23 ”“
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

God’s glory is seen in Christ.

2 Cor. 4:6 ”“
For God, who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness," is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

Heb. 1:3 ”“
And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power.

When Christ is in us, God’s glory fills us.

Col. 1:27 ”“
………Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Therefore, we fall short of the glory of God when Christ is not in us.

That is, we have sinned when Christ is not in us.

2 Cor. 13:5 (KJV) --
Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

Gal. 2:20 ”“
I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me

Rom. 14:23 ”“
and whatever is not from faith is sin.

If we are born from above and the life of Christ is in us being born again, a new creature, the life I now live I live by the faith of the Son of God, which He says He will never leave us. How, when and why would Jesus be unbirthed in us, leave us even if we sin? My body and soul are still earthly, that is why God has granted me death, that I might get rid of this body of sin and death and live unto God for ever in my new body like, the resurrected body like Jesus my Savior. Body, Soul and Spirit living for God through all eternity. Amen

1 John 1:8-9 (KJV) If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Why is God faithful and just to forgive and cleanse? The Blood of Christ.

The part of me that is the spirit of Christ which occupies and keeps me is the only Holiness I can confess. I am Holy because the Holy one lives in me and it is His Holiness I stand on before the Father in Heaven who gave me to Jesus and He will not loose or leave me. My only hope is in Christ Jesus.

Colossians 1:27-29 (KJV) To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: ((This is that which my faith stands on)) Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

Hi Phillip,

Thank you for your response.

The Lord Jesus will never leave us nor forsake us. BUT we can leave Him and forsake Him.

When we are abiding in Christ, we are in the Light (Christ is the Light) and the blood of Jesus continually cleanses us, and we are continually sin-free (1 John 1:7).

But when we are not abiding in Christ, we are in darkness, and Jesus says:

John 15:7 ”“
If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned.

That is, those not abiding in Christ and are in darkness are purified by FIRE.

Mal. 3:2-3 ”“
For He is like a refiner's fire and like fullers' soap. He will sit as a smelter and purifier of silver, and He will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver, so that they may present to the LORD offerings in righteousness.

None of us are perfectly abiding in Christ so we all experience fiery trials.

If we are not in Christ and are in darkness and, like the prodigal son, we come to our senses and see the hopelessness and sorrow of our sin and decide to return to God, God welcomes us back with a huge embrace and a big feast, rejoicing that we were lost and have been found (Luke 15:11-32). And our sins He remembers no more.

1 John 1:9 ”“
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Are you saying if we are not chastened or disciplined we are not of His.

I am sensing that if we sin you are saying Jesus Christ leaves us until we come back. If this is what you are saying I must disagree If not I agree with the fiery trials. If He leaves us that would be aborting the incorruptible Seed of the of the Father, "Christ in you the hope of glory" and we would have to be born again each time we sin. If God the Father does the birthing I don't believe there is any chance of abortion.

Forgive my sensing if I am not understanding your post correctly.

There is NOTHING wrong with our fleshly body at ALL!! Christ had a fleshly body (just like ours) in the likeness of sinful flesh and did not sin. Are you saying that physical death has more power to deliver us from sin than Christ's death, resurrection and who is now our very life? Is physical death our Savior from sin?

C

Hi cup

Quote: """Are you saying that physical death has more power to deliver us from sin than Christ's death, resurrection and who is now our very life? Is physical death our Savior from sin?""

NO!

There is no greater power for the born again son' of God than the resurrection power of Jesus Christ. Scripture says that flesh and blood cannot enter the Kingdom. The Body that was prepared for Jesus was sinless in the egg of Mary had no blood, the Blood of Christs body was the prepared sinless blood of God. Lest the Blood of Christ, could not be the perfect Lamb of Gods blood That takes away our sin, The perfect blood shed upon of altar of God is the only payment for the sin of the whole world that God could accept. My blood cannot enter the kingdom of God, that is why I said that my death gives me the right to have the same body as Christ has, which is Gods promise which is flesh and bone, not containing the sin infected blood of the curse from Adams sin. Christs body is not like ours, if He had sinned it would be and the sacrifice of on the altar could not pay the price that God the Father demands to set us free. Christs blood was sinless.

In Christ: Phillip Looking forward to my death, scared being human, but a certainty, getting close for I am 80.
My children' mother died the 28th, her soul and spirit are with Christ and her new perfect resurrected body will be hers soon. Praise God

That is not true! Christ had Mary's blood in Him. He was in ALL points like us. Christ became a curse for us. The curse of Adams sin was totally removed by His death and resurrection. Blood can not sin. There is no such thing as sinful blood. Christ was tempted exactly like we are. His blood had nothing to with His overcoming sin. We are NOW totally free from sins domain!!

Romans 6:14, "For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace."

WE do not have sinful blood!!

Matthew 1:18 (KJV) Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

The life of the flesh is in the blood, since the blood comes through the fathers seed, then the blood is what carries life of the flesh which is all under the curse. Mary's seed, her ovum the egg has no blood, that is why we can eat chicken eggs without blood in them, once in a while you will see streaks of blood in a chicken egg, that is because the rooster got to the egg laying hen.

Marys egg was without blood, "before they came together", the Holy Spirit planted the sinless life blood of the incorruptible Seed of the Father in Marys egg, and she conceived and bare a Son, Jesus Christ the sinless Son of God. There was no sin found in Him. Perfect sacrifice.

The Holy Spirit is certainly not a rooster.

But the life force of God HimselMatthew 1:20 (KJV) But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. That is how Mary became pregnant with the Son of God.

Matthew 1:23 (KJV) Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Matthew 1:25 (KJV) And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

"Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, BEFORE THEY CAME TOGETHER, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife; for that WHICH IS CONCEIVED IN HER IS OF THE HOLY GHOST." ””Matthew 1:18-20

"NOW all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name EMMANUEL, which being interpreted is, God with us." ””Matthew 11:22-23
THE VIRGIN BIRTH
Passing strange, is it not, that with such a clear record anyone can deny that the BIBLE TEACHES THE VIRGIN BIRTH. We can understand how men can reject the Bible record, but how men can say that the Bible does not teach the VIRGIN BIRTH is beyond conception.
The Bible teaches plainly that Jesus was conceived in the womb of a virgin Jewish mother by a supernatural insemination of the Holy Ghost, wholly and apart from any generation by a human father. This the Bible teaches so plainly that to the believer there is no doubt. The record cannot be mistaken by the enlightened and honest student of the Word.

JESUS SINLESS
The Bible teaches in addition that Jesus was a SINLESS man. While all men from Adam to this day are born with Adam’s sinful nature, and, therefore, are subject to the curse and eternal death, the Man Jesus was without sin and, therefore, DEATHLESS until He took the sin of others upon Himself and died THEIR death. Now while Jesus was of Adam's race according to the flesh yet He did not inherit Adam's nature. This alone will prove that sin is not transmitted through the flesh. It is transmitted through the blood and not the flesh, and even though Jesus was of the "Seed of David according to the flesh" this could not make him a sinner.

God has made of ONE BLOOD ALL THE NATIONS of the earth. Sinful heredity is transmitted through the blood and not through the flesh. Even though Jesus, therefore, received His flesh, His body from a sinful race, He could still be sinless as long as not a drop blood of this sinful race entered His veins. God must find a way whereby Jesus could be perfectly human according to the flesh and yet not have the blood of sinful humanity. That was the problem solved by the virgin birth.

ORIGIN OF THE BLOOD
It is now definitely known that the blood which flows in an unborn babies arteries and veins is not derived from the mother but is produced within the body of the foetus itself only after the introduction of the male sperm. An unfertilized ovum can never develop blood since the female egg does not by itself contain the elements essential for the production of this blood. It is only after the male element has entered the ovum that blood can develop. As a very simple illustration of this, think of the egg of a hen. An unfertilized egg is just an ovum on a much larger scale than the human ovum. You may incubate this unfertilized hens egg but it will never develop. It will decay and become rotten, but no chick will result. Let that egg be fertilized by the introduction of the male sperm and incubation will bring to light the presence of LIFE IN THAT EGG. After a few hours it visibly develops. In a little while red streaks occur in the egg denoting the presence of Blood. This can never occur and does never occur until THE MALE SPERM HAS BEEN UNITED WITH THE FEMALE OVUM. The male element has added life to the egg. Life is in the blood according to scripture, for Moses says:
"For the life of the flesh is in the blood." (Leviticus 17:11). "For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof." ””Leviticus 17:14
Since there is no life in the egg until the male sperm unites with it, and the life is in the blood, it follows that the male sperm is the source of the blood, the seed of life. Think it through.

NO MOTHERS BLOOD
For this very reason, it is unnecessary that a single drop of blood be given to the developing embryo in the womb of the mother. Such is the case according to science. The mother provides the foetus (the unborn developing infant) with the nutritive elements for the building of that little body in the secret of her bosom, but all the blood which forms in that little body is formed in the embryo itself and only as a result of the contribution of the male parent. From the time of conception to the time of birth of the infant not ONE SINGLE DROP OF BLOOD ever passes from mother to child. The placenta that mass of temporary tissue known better as "afterbirth,” forming the union between mother and child is so constructed that although all the soluble nutritive elements such as proteins, fats, carbohydrates, salts, minerals and even antibodies pass freely from mother to child and the waste products of the child's metabolism are passed back to the mothers circulation, no actual interchange of a single drop of blood ever occurs normally. All the blood which is in that child is produced within the child itself as a result of the introduction of the male sperm. The mother contributes no blood at all.

TESTIMONY OF SCIENCE
Now for the sake of some of the skeptics who may doubt these statements let me quote from a few reliable authorities. In Howell’s Textbook of Physiology, Second Edition, pages 885 and 886, I read:
"For the purpose of understanding its general functions it is sufficient to recall that the placenta consists essentially of vascular chorionic papillae from the foetus (the unborn child) bathed in the large blood spaces of the decidual membrane of the mother. The fetal and maternal blood DO NOT COME INTO ACTUAL CONTACT. THEY ARE SEPARATED FROM EACH OTHER by the walls of the fetal blood vessels and the epithelial layers of the chorionic villae."
Or let me quote from Williams’ Practice of Obstetrics, Third Edition, page 133. Here I quote,
"The fetal blood in the vessels of the chorionic villae AT NO TIME GAINS ACCESS TO THE MATERNAL BLOOD in the intervillous space, BEING SEPARATED FROM ONE ANOTHER by the double layer of chorionic epithelium."
And from page 136 of the same recognized textbook I quote,
"Normally there is no communication between the fetal blood and the maternal blood."
Now for the benefit of those of you who may be nurses, let me quote from a textbook which is familiar to you. Quoting from "Nurse’s Handbook of Obstetrics" by Louise Zabriskie, R.N., Fifth Edition, page 75:
"When the circulation of the blood begins in the embryo, it remains separate and distinct from that of the mother. All food and waste material which are interchanged between the embryo and the mother must pass through the blood vessel walls from one circulation to the other."
And from page 82 of the same book:
"The foetus receives its nourishment and oxygen from the mothers blood into its own through the medium of the placenta. The fetal heart pumps blood through the arteries of the umbilical cord into the placental vessels, which, looping in and out of the uterine tissue and lying in close contact with the uterine vessels, permit a diffusion, through their walls, of waste products from child to mother and of nourishment and oxygen from mother to child. As has been said, this interchange is effected by the process of osmosis, and there is no direct mingling of the two blood currents. In other words, no maternal blood actually flows to the foetus, nor is there any direct fetal blood flow to the mother."
GOD'S WONDERFUL PROVISION
How wonderfully God prepared for the virgin birth of His Son. When He created woman He made her so that no blood would be able to pass from her to her offspring. That blood is the result of the male. Since Adam was the federal head of the race, it is HIS BLOOD which transmits Adam's Sin. In order to produce a sinless man and yet be the son of Adam, God must provide a way whereby that man would have a human body derived from Adam but have not a drop of Adam's sinful blood. Right here is the scientific biological reason for the sinlessness of the Man Christ Jesus. Some have tried to answer the question, "How could He be sinless and yet born of a woman?” by making Mary the "Immaculate Virgin.” That, however, does not answer the question of how JESUS was sinless since it is through the male that the bloodline runs.

Not only is this a scientific fact, but it is plainly taught in Scripture that Jesus partook of human flesh without Adam's blood. In Hebrews 2:14 we read,
"Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood. He also himself likewise took part of the same..."
You will notice that the children, that is the human children, are said to be partakers of FLESH and BLOOD, and then speaking of Jesus it says that He "himself likewise took part of the same." The Word "took part” as applying to Christ is an entirely different word then "partakers” as applied to the children. In the margin of my Bible, I read the word translated "took part” implies "taking part in something outside one’s self.” The Greek word for partakers is "KOYNONEHO" and means "to share fully,” so that all of Adam’s children share fully in Adam’s flesh and blood. When we read that Jesus "took part of the same” the word is "METECHO" which means to take "part" but not all. The Children take both flesh and blood of Adam but Christ took only part, that is the flesh part, while the blood was the result of supernatural conception.
Jesus was a perfect human being after the flesh. He was of the seed of David according to the flesh, but blood is that part of a man which is the divine addition. In the creation of man, Adam’s body was made from the dust of the earth, but God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life. Since life is in the blood, this act resulted in the formation of blood in Adam’s body, but the first Adam’s blood was corrupted and sin transmitted through it to all mankind. In the last Adam and the second man, new and divine and sinless blood was produced in a body that was the seed of Adam and by this resulted in the production of ””
DIVINE BLOOD
Conception by the Holy Ghost then was the only way the Virgin Birth could be accomplished. Mary contributed the body of Jesus and He became the "seed of David according to the flesh." The Holy Spirit contributed the Blood of Jesus. It was sinless blood. It was Divine blood. It is Precious Blood for there has never been any other like it. It is ””

I 100% agree that the BIBLE TEACHES THE VIRGIN BIRTH and He was sinless. I am saying that His blood did not make him sinless. When Christ was tempted He could of sinned but did not. His blood had nothing to do with it.

Before Adam sinned there was NOTHING wrong with his body or his blood. So are you saying that after he sinned his blood turned sinful? When Adam sinned his blood had NOTHING to with his disobedience. How could it?

I am not a real fan of Winkie Pratney but I do agree with what he wrote.

"Neither does sin reside, as some sincere men have stated, in the blood. No place in the Scriptures give the blood morality. It is a symbol of life, and as the electrochemical and circulatory system of the body, is the "life of the flesh" and the "circuitry" of the soul. As a symbol of a man's life, it is certainly a precious symbol of Christ's atoning sacrifice for our lives (Isaiah 53:10-12; Hebrews 9:22-23; Matthew 26:28; Acts 20:28; Romans 3:24-26; 5:9-11; Ephesians 2:13; Hebrews 10:10-14; 10:19-20; 1 Peter 1:18-19; 1 John 1:7). If it was true that moral characteristics are transmitted through the blood, then a blood transfusion from a saint, will make a man more holy, and one from a sinner will make a saint less sanctified. It will follow then, that a prenatal blood transfusion on a "blue" baby will give it a totally different nature!"

Hi Vern, check this out and it might help you understand that Jesus could not be all God with the blood of a human, Mary, in His veins. He was flesh of Marys egg but no blood is in the egg, the Blood comes from the Father "incorruptible seed of the Father" only and God is the Father of Jesus Christ and "Our Father who art in heaven", now that we are born again of the same incorruptible Seed in spirit, through Faith Eph 2: 8.9,10 WE will live in our Fathers House forever.

1 Peter 1:23 (KJV) Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. Look up the (Word) of God in the Greek.

"The Word" should be capitalized as in John 1: 1/5

The idea that Jesus did not have real human blood is absurd.

He had real human blood with a blood type and Rh factor and platelets and leukocytes and plasma and everything.

Suggesting that sin, which is an abstract idea, not a physical "thing” somehow physically resides in blood smacks of some weird mystical idea.

Quote: """The idea that Jesus did not have real human blood is absurd."""

Where did this come form; Of course the blood in His body had to be compatible with the body that was prepared for Him.

Also, Quote: """ He had real human blood with a blood type and Rh factor and platelets and leukocytes and plasma and everything."""

How could we know what any of these factors are or even if He did since His Father was God? I believe that the atonement in His Blood still has all the efficacy and power and is as fresh today as it was when first shed on the Cross. The Perfect Blood of Jesus Christ. Amen

If sin is an abstract Idea why do we have to die physically?
Our death is not mystical but fact, when the blood quits working the flesh dies.

Rom 8:3, "For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:"

Heb 2:16-18, "For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted."

Heb 4:15, "For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in ALL POINTS tempted like as we are, yet without sin."

God can not be tempted but Christ the New human Adam was. He could have sinned but did not.

Was there anything wrong with Adam's and Eve's body or blood before they disobeyed God?

1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Christ had 100% HUMAN flesh just as us. If not He could never be the Last Adam.

Philip-

Love is an abstract idea but we don’t doubt its reality. But it is not an actual "thing.” That is what I mean by abstract.

God the Father, God the Holy Spirit, are spirit. They have no blood to provide.

You are trying to argue that sin is a "substance” that resides in human blood and therefore Jesus could not have had human blood.

Your premise is dreadfully amiss which requires an absurd conclusion.

Philip,

Are you saying that men are sinners because of "sinful” blood?

But Adam sinned when he had "sinless” blood.

God certainly did not create Adam with "sinful” blood for "God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good” (Gen. 1:3).

How do you explain that?

T

It seems that Jochb and Philip think that sin is a physical substance or is somehow transmitted genetically- ie there is a "sin gene” or a sin marker on a gene.

I think this is a dangerous line of thinking.

It looks like we are drifting toward where the 'soul' comes from.

The Soul is the creation of God in every man. The soul cannot be merely metaphysical, otherwise it would perish with the body, but according to scripture the soul lives on.

Yet, when God gives the Soul to a child, it is not intrinsically indwelt by the life of God. The soul has the limitation of being 'only human'.

It is because of this 'only human aspect' the soul is alienated from God from birth. Therefore it knows nothing of divine life or will from birth, it knows only it's own will and desires.

The soul is not to be viewed in terms of metaphysical naturalism. The soul is not the product of human self-perception or merely and inner-awareness-with-identity.

The soul speaks without a body as seen scripture, it feels pain, suffering, knows justice and mercy all without the body. It remembers its life and knows the existence of God and his judgments.

Sin is disobedience to God's law, it is the soul living unto itself without regard to God that marks the youngest to the oldest as sinners. They body is the vehicle of the souls existence in this world. God designed the body to contain the soul where it would live and function in this world.

If Christ did come in the flesh, what kind of flesh was it? Why is that important?
Written by Johan Oscar Smith

Jesus Christ has come in the flesh

"By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh Sin is anything that goes against God’s will and His laws. To commit sin is to transgress or disobey these laws. The lust to sin dwells in human nature. In other words, it is contaminated and motivated by the sinful tendencies that dwell in all people as a result of the fall into sin and disobedience in the garden of Eden. This... More is of God …” 1 John 4:2. "For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.” 2 John 7.

Nowadays it is very common that even people who call themselves believers deny that Christ has come in the flesh. They say He had a flesh like an angel, like Adam before the fall, a divine flesh, etc. All of these theories deny that Christ has come in the flesh.

"Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.” Hebrews 2:14-15.

Not a different kind of flesh

If Christ’s flesh was like that of Adam before the fall, the devil could not have been destroyed by death, because death and the devil were unknown to Adam. Adam did not fear death, so that fear could not have kept him in bondage and in need of liberation.

Christ did not take upon Himself the nature of an angel. "For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham. Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren The "brothers” and "sisters” are those who are a part of the church of Christ. (Matthew 23:8; Matthew 12:50; Hebrews 2:10-18)... More, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.” Hebrews 2:16-18.

Before the fall, did Adam suffer when he was tempted? No, he gave in to the temptation. A person who sins does not suffer when he is tempted; he chooses to sinTo commit sin is to consciously do something that you know goes against God’s will. This can be in word, deed, or even thought. (James 1:14-15)... More rather than to suffer. (Job 36:21) Christ suffered when He was tempted; He resisted the lustsThe desires that we experience that go against God’s will. In other words, a desire for anything sinful. See James 1:14. Also called "sin in the flesh.” Although the expression "youthful lusts” is often thought of in connection with sinful sexual desires, lusts include anything that go against what is good and right in God’s eyes. (2 Timothy 2:22.; Galatians... More in His own flesh. Each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own lusts and enticed. (James 1:14)

Some people say that Christ did not have a flesh with lusts that could draw and entice Him. If He did not have lusts, then He did not have flesh and blood like ours. And if He did not have flesh and blood like ours, then He could not have been tempted like we are, nor can He be a High Priest for us with understanding and compassion for us in our temptations.

Denying that Christ has come in the flesh is nullifying His work

Jesus had to be made like His brethren in all things. What are His brothers like? What kind of flesh do they have? Do they have the flesh of angels? Did the angels need to be liberated from bondage because of fear of death? No, but the seed of Abraham needed to be liberated.

Why, then, do people not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh? There is only one reason: They are enemies
Most often when a Christian refers to his or her "enemies” they are speaking about the sin in their flesh and the temptations and lusts that arise from there. These are enemies because they tempt us to act contrary to the will of God. These can also be spiritual powers such as the spirit of the times which oppose the... More of the cross of Christ and enemies of being made like Him in His flesh and in His death. (Philippians 3:10,18)

This is precisely where the spirit of antichrist works. People do not confess that Christ has come in the flesh. As a result, they nullify the entire work of Christ””His sufferings, His death and His high priestly ministry. This is the prevailing spirit today, even in the so-called independent assemblies.

Why Jesus can free us from the power of death

"What the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh

Sin is anything that goes against God’s will and His laws. To commit sin is to transgress or disobey these laws. The lust to sin dwells in human nature. In other words, it is contaminated and motivated by the sinful tendencies that dwell in all people as a result of the fall into sin and disobedience in the garden of Eden. This... More, on account of sin

This... More: He condemned sin in the flesh

This... More …” Romans 8:3.

God condemned sin in the flesh. In whose flesh was sin condemned? Was it in Jones’ or Brown’s or Johnson’s flesh? No, it was in Christ’s flesh.

Christ reigned over sin in the flesh because He always subjected His will to God’s will. "Not My will, but Yours, be done.” Thus, He destroyed that which made the flesh powerless, the thing that made the law impossible.

What is a person like according to the flesh? Does he rule over sin? No, sin rules over him. Who is the ruler: he who rules, or he who is ruled over? Of course, it is he who rules. Now Christ has ruled over sin in the flesh, because God sent Him on account of sin. (Romans 8.3) That is precisely why He can free us from the power of death and the devil, so that the demands of the law can be fulfilled in us who walk according to the Spirit.

Christ rules over sin in the flesh, over death and over all the power of the devil. This is the fruit of Christ coming in the flesh. For us who believe, these mysteries of Christ are a rich source of comfort and liberation from everything by which we were formerly imprisoned.

Adam was perfect including His blood, but he chose to sin and partake of the tree of good and evil, of which God told him not to do.

That had to change Adam in some way and because of his sin, sin passed unto all mankind. There has to be a marker of some kind that all mankind has to inherit from Adam. The blood line of Christ is seen in scripture from David even unto Mary and Joseph. This is where Jesus is different from all other men. He had no father from any human, but His Father was God and the blood of Jesus had a body and blood prepared for Him by God in the virgin birth through Mary that He could be of human flesh from the ovum in the womb of her flesh, so Jesus' mother gave Him flesh and bone of Adam, a man as we see in scripture, His Father gave Him blood compatible to the body, but not from the blood of Adam that gives all the world and mankind sin, be physical of spiritual. What ever marker it might be it comes from Adams sin, the father of all mankind except Jesus of which Jesus had none of.

The answer is pretty plain to me; Jesus is the only man that could shed His blood and take up His own life and put it down by His own power at the Cross and the only shedding of blood God could accept as redemption for the whole world.

Revelation 5:9 (KJV) And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

The living blood of Christ is the only blood that will ever be in Heaven. To this day and forever it still has the power to save to the utmost. When the blood of Christ sets us free we are free indeed.

My redemption is in the Blood of Christ, He in me and me in Him forever: Able to get rid of my flesh and blood that I might enter Heaven with the same new body that Jesus Has as my Born Again new live with a body like His at the resurrection. Amen

This teaching has it roots in hell and is completely contrary to scripture. Look again at the scriptures that I posted before that denounce your teaching.

If you continue to teach this lie you will discredit yourself and completely wipe out any worth in all your posts.

Hi Phillip:

you said "That had to change Adam in some way and because of his sin, sin passed unto all mankind. There has to be a marker of some kind that all mankind has to inherit from Adam. I don't have time to pull it apart, so I'll just make the assertions.
1. The above quote is full of contradiction/truth/error.
2. This admixture of truth and error creates a 'hybrid' man, not a man after Adam which scripture clearly declares.
3. Your 'hybrid' man Jesus Christ cannot consistently be found in scripture.

In your eagerness to sanctify the blood of Christ you have made the obvious error of creating a hybrid human that none of us can actually associate with.

Vern is right, youre now teaching us all about a Jesus that is not consistent with scripture or consistent with any orthodox teachings from the ancients.

The tricky part of course is you surround this hybrid with all the praises due to the 'scriptural Jesus', where he as a man, with a mans blood, a mans body, a man's soul lived sinless. I say tricky because in doing this, the casual observer will say "he's praising Jesus for his redemption through his blood". When in fact the Jesus you are asserting here is not the 'last Adam' but the first hybrid.

Either you are listening to or reading some really weird teachers or you have begun to make some fundamental errors in your theology...so errant as to incur Vern's right and good warning to you.

Jochbaptist or Phillip:

Could either of your expound on your idea of epigenetics and where I might find epigenetics as the 'director-in-charge-of-sin-transference' in scripture somewhere?

I didn't realize human blood has a metaphysical quality to it whereby sin is epigenetically transferred person to person.

I also didn't realize sin is a physical defect inherited by the kids. You might want to share this finding with the geneticists who offered this take on genome characterizing.

Could you please offer some validation by scripture?

Marvin,

Is there any other man person or animal God could accept as the only sacrifice to cleanse the whole world?

In Christ: Phillip

I am not trying to influence anyone of a hybrid Jesus Christ but the only Christ in me that could accomplish;

1 John 1:1-7 (KJV) That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

None other that we do can cleanse us from sin, Keeping the Law, our own works, nothing but the Blood of Jesus.

1 John 1:7-10 (KJV) But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Yet in this world He, Jesus Christ is the only One who sinneth not, He is the One in me that makes me pure before God by His precious Blood.

1 John 3:9 (KJV) Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for (His seedremaineth in him: and He cannot sin, because He is born of God.
So are we; Born from above, Born again.

This is a very modern approach to injecting an old heresy.

That is how perfect Adam was created for death to overtake him. You shall surely die. Physically?

Jesus' birth was a highly supernatural birth. First of all, it was a virgin birth. No human can comprehend or explain the birth of Jesus. It is beyond our human perspective. Birth of Jesus is a mystery. God the father wanted a sinless blood to accomplish the redemption and restoration of the mankind. This would not have been achieved by the natural birth of Jesus. To have a sinless blood, it was necessary that a supernatural birth was necessary. Therefore, ' that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit'(Matt 1:20).

Because you have boldly stated that Christ's flesh was not human flesh and that His blood was not human blood. I rebuke you in the name of Jesus Christ. You do not believe that the WORD(Jesus Christ)was made(human)Flesh.

If you are not willing to repent for these lies all your future posts will be tainted by the spirit of antichrist.

1 John 4:3, "And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world."

Rom 1:3, "Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;"

G

Maybe someone should just say it.

There is no sinful blood. There is no sinless blood.

There are sinful men and there is one sinless man.

Jesus as a man being sinless in word, thought and deed was capable of making atonement for our sins.

The blood of Christ represents the 'life' of Christ physically was shed as it pertains to a clean offering.
But Christ's mind was also just as clean, his heart, will, emotions, desires all equally clean. His deeds and words all equally clean. In this same sense Jesus perfect obedience, Jesus perfect love toward God and man, Jesus heart of compassion and giving, Jesus worship and God glorifying act during his suffering and temptations all equally formed the 'offering' given to God in order to redeem us.

If we add metaphysical qualities to human anatomical parts, we go beyond Christianity into paganism and mysticism.

When a man sins, is it his blood or his heart (mind and will) that has sinned? Jesus warned about what was in the heart of man, not what could epigenetically was transferred to man that defiled him.

One might then assume easily under the same philosophy that the blood of bulls and goats, sheep and rams had sin or were sinless. Since the animals were qualified and disqualified by reason of 'blemish' (lame, sick, sores etc) then the easy and quick assumption is sin is recognized by 'blemish' in men. Leprosy is one such 'blemish' equated with sin.

But is this new covenant thinking? Is this really what Paul and the apostles are teaching the Church?

I will quickly say emphatically NO.

Adam did not have a human father too. His blood did not come from any man but from God. You said yourself that "Adam was perfect including his blood.”

So…………HOW could Adam, having perfect flesh and blood, sin? Unless the ability to sin or not to sin is not determined by whether the blood is "perfect” or not? So, when your blood becomes "perfect” what guarantee is there that you will not sin?

Point is:
There is no correlation between "perfect” blood and sinlessness, proven by Adam’s sin.

Hi Jade,

I am not disputing the findings of epigenetics or even the exciting new brain science that asserts that our thoughts can switch our genes on and off. It could be so. BUT, when men turn to epigenetics and brain science and whatever else to craft a "god” gene and become like God, sidestepping the cross and resurrection of Christ, and Jesus Himself, then………This is Babel. This is Babylon.

Gen. 11:3-4 ”“
They said to one another, "Come, let us make bricks and burn them thoroughly." And they used brick for stone, and they used tar for mortar. They said, "Come, let us build for ourselves a city, and a tower whose top will reach into heaven, and let us make for ourselves a name, otherwise we will be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth."

Jer. 31:57 ”“
Babylon will become a heap of ruins, a haunt of jackals, An object of horror and hissing, without inhabitants.

Rev. 18:2 ”“
Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great!

1 Pet. 1:24-25 ”“
For, "ALL FLESH IS LIKE GRASS,
AND ALL ITS GLORY LIKE THE FLOWER OF GRASS.
THE GRASS WITHERS,
AND THE FLOWER FALLS OFF,
BUT THE WORD OF THE LORD ENDURES FOREVER."

The way to be like God is not through epigenetics or brain science (which have already made inroads into Christian teaching).

The only way to be like God is to be in Christ and Christ in us (Gal.3:26).

The only path to holiness is the path of the cross.

The only power for a holy life is the power of the resurrection.

And we can only know the unfathomable riches of God when Christ dwells in our hearts by faith and not by our own endeavour but by the Holy Spirit (Eph. 3:14-21).

Hi Phillip:

You said "Then what kills the flesh? With the life of the flesh is blood. If the blood quits flowing you are dead."

not to put to fine a point on it...It's when the heart stops pumping the blood stops flowing.

The answer is simple...about a 1000 different things can kill the flesh. But really, the correlation you are making is no where to be found.

As I said you are attaching a metaphysical quality to blood that simply does not exist either in scripture or the physical world.

Epigenetics is a grasping for answers within a scientific context in order to satisfy a theological dilemma. The same is done with Carbon 14 in order to validate old-earth theories.
In the end, only that certain group who have the scientific 'in-the-know' can interpret the scripture and the rest of us numb-skulls must flounder with just the Holy Spirit and the scriptures themselves.

The scriptures do NOT TEACH the earth is flat or the earth is 14 billion years old, or that man has evolved or that epigenetics replaces 'original sin'.
lastly the scriptures do NOT TEACH blood has metaphysical qualities such as a 'state' of sinlessness or sinfulness.

This 'state' is actually a judgment of God denoted by scripture revelation. I am 'sinful' because I have violated God's law, that state of sinfulness is not now an implanted metaphysical state of my blood.

Phillip...

no brother you've got it backwards...

Matthew 23:16 King James Version (KJV)

16 Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor

Jesus the man is what makes his blood holy, in the sense he himself is entirely holy.

You on the other hand are saying because he has a 'sinless blood' Jesus is holy.

This reversal is exactly what Jesus correcting in the Pharisees, to them gold was more important than the temple.
You Phillip are making his blood more important than the man himself.

I encourage you to rethink this whole thing and stop defending the indefensible.
Plus surrounding a one-line answer with numerous scripture texts doesn't prove your point, it in fact reveals you do not understand what your saying or grasping the scripture that you're quoting to us.

Thankfully the actual 'cross' of Jesus is no longer to be had; otherwise folks like yourself would attach all kinds of metaphysical properties to it and in fact love the piece of wood rather than the one who was raised up by it.

The blood, in itself, has no sanctifying value.

It is precious because it was SHED/POURED OUT at the cross and brought in the New Covenant by which we can be made holy.

Luke 22:20 - This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood."

Hi Marvin

Quit telling me how wrong I am and give me a truth of how important the thousands of animals died and their blood put on the mercy seat. Why Adams sin causes all to die. If the heart stops the blood does not flow and I am dead, right?

The blood of Christ put upon the mercy seat in heaven, the true mercy seat not just a picture on earth of what it is.
Why Jesus applied His own blood to the real mercy seat and only need be once and its power lasts for eternity. One covers sin yearly, the other takes it away for all eternity to those that believe and are saved.

You seem to believe that your opinion of me is correct. How does that work.

I am not using scripture to verify what I am writing of or thinking. I am trying to listen to the Holy Spirit and get my thinking to coincide with Gods truth, sometimes I don't hear very well. I am sure you are much smarted than me, I try to listen to those people when I am getting new education or information from sources outside of my little world to help prove or un-prove the source. But its hard to dodge the bullets at the same time. Put me in an airplane and I can dodge the bullets very well.

Hi Phillip, Brother, I have no low opinion of you, I personally think you are dabbling in some goofy stuff that's all. I think you are making correlations to spiritual/physical things that are just not warranted.
So, I am giving you what I believe scripture to teach.

Jesus blood on the mercy seat...amen and amen to that!
As I said it is Jesus perfect heart toward God, undefiled, always in his will and perfectly submissive to God's voice and law. This perfection in God's judgment makes Christ's blood worthy to put upon that mercy seat. But Christ's blood has no intrinsic perfection, it's God's judgment of Christ's life that determines the efficacy of Christ's blood.

You are the one who is teaching that Christ did not come to earth in real human flesh and did not have real human blood. This teaching is from the Sprint of the antichrist.

I really have to agree with Vern.

Jesus was the The God-man, not the God- God.

Phillip I fear you have been listening to or reading teachers with strange ideas about blood.

When we say that we are cleansed by the blood of Jesus, what we really mean is that his sacrificial death on the cross paved the way for us.

The "blood of Jesus” is a stylized way of saying the death of Jesus on the cross. Obviously he bled profusely being flogged and crucified.

C

Vern,

John 1:1-4 (KJV) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

John 1:13-14 (KJV) Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

1 Peter 1:23 (KJV) Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Jesus was made flesh and dwelt among us that we might see grace and glory and truth.

I believe the Word of God. Does this sound like Jesus was not born in the flesh which you say I am teaching. It is not so.

So are now you saying that Christ's blood is the same blood that all humans have? Are you now saying that His flesh is the same flesh that all humans have? So then there is NOTHING special or superior about His body or His Blood then any other human person?

G

Hi Phillip:

I have to agree with Vern, if you interpret the scriptures as the rest of us, Jesus being born a man a hu-man, has human blood and human flesh. This has been the orthodox position for 2000 years.

But the trip-up has been your claim that Jesus blood was a God-blood or some kind of blood other than human blood found in the Adamic race.

Vern's correlation human blood=human being is right.
But yours over the last several posts has been God-blood-in-human-body. This is a hybrid Phillip, a hybrid orthodox Christians have never believed existed.

All I am asking you to believe is
a) Jesus blood is human blood
b) Jesus blood is sinless because Jesus the man is sinless.
c) Blood does not have sinful or sinless 'state's, the man himself has this condition.
d) sin is attributed to the man himself not his blood
e) sinlessness is attributed to the Lord Jesus himself and Jesus blood is accounted worthy to place on the mercy seat because God has judged Jesus life as perfect.
f) blood has no metaphysical qualities.
(what I mean by metaphysical, it has no moral quality intrinsic to its physical characteristics)

Truth is, when any regular Christian says "Jesus is fully human" all the above 6 statements are assumed without mention.
but when someone redefines Jesus blood, those points are brought to bare upon orthodox claims.

Vern/ Marvin
We were in Adam when he sinned. Jesus was not. Jesus is the Last Adam.
He became a man like Adam BEFORE Adam sinned. Through one man sin came to us all, and we all died because of sin. Scripture reveals that the man "begets” children, and the woman bears them for him. All children are born in Adam’s likeness, in sin.
Jesus was tempted in the desert on the same points that Man was tested in the garden, but did not sin like Adam. Also through the rest of His time as a man.
God prophesied that the serpent’s head will be crushed by the seed of the WOMAN. God designed it so that the seed of the woman is "neutral”. Not affected by the fall, as Adam’s was. Thus a body could be prepared for Jesus to be born in that was untainted by the fall.
Ps.

Hi Todd.
Where did I say Jesus was not human?
Some imply that Jesus was born with a fallen nature like us. In that case he offered up defiled blood.
The only way Jesus could become truly human, without a fallen nature, is that Mary ‘s seed was unaffected by sin. Which I argue is according to God’s amazing design.
Question- Why did God forbid the offering of a blemished lamb/offering.

//Question- Why did God forbid the offering of a blemished lamb/offering.//

So folks would not sacrifice their one legged or useless animals, as they certainly would have done had it not been for the prohibition. The sacrifice should cost them something.

You seem to think that my blood is what causes me to sin. That's a load of rubbish. When I sin, I am sad to say it is because I am tempted when I am lured and enticed by my own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin. James 1:14-15.

Jesus' plain old human blood would not have caused him to sin, either. But it certainly did not prevent Him from being tempted- we know that for certain. He was lured and enticed but in Him the desire never conceived and gave birth to sin. His blood had nothing to do with it. His blood was just a fluid coursing through his veins, providing oxygen and nutrients to the cells of his body. There was nothing mystical about his blood.

Well I must say the body of Jesus was certainly blemished, more than any man. Why would God accept His blood tainted with dirt and grime of the earth in every wound of His body.

Because the blood shed was pure and is the only sacrifice of the second Adam or last what ever you want. The Blood streaming from His wounds was the pure blood, "His own blood", that He Himself would offer on the mercy seat in Heaven, our High Priest offering His own blood for the unfathomable atonement that takes away the sin of the whole world mine and yours by faith, I believe in that blood and thank and praise God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, who all had in their work of the Cross, The end of it being our salvation and the total taking away of our sin forever. Amen

What happened to Jesus' Body on the third day? The resurrection, which was flesh and bone, no blood, correct?
Was He still human? Was He God with resurrected body of flesh and bone? Mary's seed furnished the perfection of her seed which God gave her and prepared her to receive the perfection of the body and blood of His only begotten Son. Jesus could not have entered into Heaven with blood in His veins because it was all poured out for you and me. He entered Heaven with His own Blood in hand our High Priest for ever and sprinkled it on the true mercy seat and on you and me by faith.

Study this very carefully; Galatians 2:17-21 (KJV) But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

The blood of Christ now lives in me, by faith. My sinful blood was shed on the Cross with His pure blood and exchanged by faith to His pure blood that now lives in me by faith, which will be shed at my death and exchanged for His body of flesh and bone Just like His, that I might live in Heaven in our Fathers house forever.

The life of the flesh is in the Blood, which is the life of my flesh now, by faith, His pure blood living in and flowing through my vein, the power of salvation by; I believe it, which is the only pleasing thing to God our Father, our Faith Galatians 2:17-21 (KJV) But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. Righteousness came by the Perfect body and blood, the perfect container Body, Soul and Spirit of Jesus Christ, The Last Adam.

I agree that Jesus had the SAME human flesh and blood as Adam BEFORE Adam sinned. He was not "in Adam". Otherwise He would be a sinner like all of us. There is no need to look to epigenetics to explain this. The Bible plainly tells us so:

Rom. 5:12 (KJV) ”“
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

In Adam, all die (1 Cor. 15:22)

1 John 3:4 ”“
……in Him there is no sin.

Jesus is the second man (1 Cor. 15:47).

He was not born "of Adam". He was a flesh and blood "kinsman".

Adam had no sin when he was created.
Jesus had no sin when He was born.

My question is:
WHY did Adam fall and Jesus did not fall? After all, they had the same "sinless” flesh and blood.

Heb. 4:15 ”“
For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.

Your question does not even deserve an answer. Read 1st John.

2 Peter 3:13-15 (KJV) Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. Ephesians 5:27 (KJV) That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Ephesians 5:32 (KJV) This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

Philippians 2:6-8 (KJV) Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Adam was created, he could not manifest himself as God. His blood was manufactured by God. He could sin if he chose to.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. His blood was from God His Father and could not sin, of which He would never choose to.

The blood of Christ. As the death of Christ points to sin; the Cross to self, so the blood points to Him Who hung on the Cross and there died for us. This is clearly seen in John 19:33- 35. As the soldier pierced that holy body, which had been dead already for some time , blood and water flowed forth. Now it is well known that blood will not flow from the body of any mere man. The moment the heart stops beating, the body grows cold, the blood coagulates and cannot possibly flow, because at death the body goes to corruption. But His body did not see corruption Acts 2:27, and so the blood flowing from His pierced side tells us He was not a mere man, but God manifest in flesh. That's why the apostle John alone records this miracle, for he tells us in chapter 20:31 that he wrote his gospel, not first of all that men might believe in Jesus, but that they might believe Who Jesus is, that "ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God." Yes, the blood our Saviour shed points to Who He is; therefore the use of that term "the blood of Christ," "His blood," etc., always calls our attention to Who it is that died for us on that Cross.
Four times it says in the Bible that it was His "own" blood - Acts 20:28; Heb. 9:12; Heb. 13:12 and Rev. 1:5. We don't say when someone for instance gives a pint of blood to another that he gave his "own" blood; we just say his blood. But God wants us to know that this blood He shed is special; it is whose blood it is that is of vital importance. It is the only blood ever called "precious" (or priceless) blood. And again I say, it is that because it is the blood of the Son of God. The priest of old gave the blood of others (animals) for his own sins--Heb. 7:27, but our blessed Lord gave His own blood for the sins of others. Praise His Holy Name!
When man dies that is the last thing he does, but when our blessed Lord shed His blood it is the first thing He did for us. That's why it says in I John 5:6 that He "came" by blood. We say when a man dies that he went, but when our Lord shed His blood on the Cross, it says He came. Praise God, His precious death His precious blood -ushers in an eternity of bliss for the believer in Him.
In the Old Testament the blood was never put on the sinner; it was put on the believer. It was put on the priests -Ex. 29:20, and we know they represent the believers of this day, for we are the holy priesthood. In Lev. 14 it was put on the cleansed leper, who of course pictures a saved sinner. This blood was the blood of the ram of "consecration." Thus the blood of Christ is put on the believer not for salvation, but for consecration as I Cor. 6:20 tells us; "we are bought with a price," henceforth to be consecrated to His service. It was put on the ear, the hand and the toe, for henceforth we are to hear His Word, do His Will and walk in His way. The "blood" tells the story that since the holy Son of God gave Himself for me, I now must give myself to Him. That's the meaning of the blood. So much more could be said. May God bless these few thoughts!
The death of Christ concerns sinners and salvation.
The Cross of Christ concerns believers and self-abnegation.
The blood of Christ calls for total consecration.

Man, Philip, that is one of the strangest things I have read.

1st, Jesus has just died and to suggest his blood had already coagulated is silly.

2d, the lance pierced his pericardium, the sac around the heart, which had filled with water due to the physiological effects of crucifixion. Water tinged with blood gushed out when this was pierced.

The person you are quoting is going way yonder out of his way to try to make a point that does not need to be made.

If a lance had been thrust into the heart of one of the thieves on either side of Jesus who had just died, blood and water would have gushed out of their wound as well.

Christ could NOT sin? Another lie! Christ was fully tempted in all points just like we are tempted. For the temptation to be real to Him there had to be the possibility for Him to sin. If there was no possibility for Christ to sin He could not overcome sin. The temptation would be fake. "The blood is human blood, of group […], male […]” the team reported, adding that "the configuration of the genetic features found in the Y chromosome does not correspond to any of the configurations present in the world wide data bank where the data of 22,000 male subjects from 187 different populations is kept.”

"This blood is so rare that it must be considered as almost unique. By calculation, the statistical probability of finding, in the course of millennia, a typology of the same blood type, is almost nil, the mathematical probability of this happening is in the order of 1 in 200 billion possible cases.” [In other words 1 on 200,000,000,000.]
"The implication is potentially astonishing: that the blood came from a source that was not preceded by a similar genetic type and was not inherited (as of course Jesus’s Blood, if this was His actual genetic structure, would not have been inherited). Of course, because something is supernatural does not mean the process of discernment is over.”

What was Jesus’ blood type after all?

If this turns out to be Jesus’ real blood type, can researches dealing with icons and belongings regarding "The Virgin Mary” and Her blood type prove the connection of mother and child between Them?

Strangely enough, analyses conducted upon many holy icons, such as the "Weeping Madonna of Syracuse”, show the same blood type as Jesus Christ, yet more awkwardly His blood type denotes He’s a "universal recipient”, a "universal acceptor” mysteriously proving, whether you believe in the existence of a deity or not, that there is something special happening out there after all..

II. Second, the Blood of Christ is necessary for your redemption,

If the blood comes from the Father, who was the Father of Jesus Christ, The Father of Jesus Christ is not human.

Human blood is corruptible, from Adam, God could not receive corruptible blood for our redemption. That is why animals were used on the earthly mercy seed in the earthly holy of holies, which only covered the sins of Israel. The incorruptible blood of Christ is on the True Mercy seat which takes away the old Adam sin for those who believe the Gospel. The incorruptible Blood on the mercy in heaven and its power is still saving the whole world and to us who believe. Jesus Christ seated at the right hand of the Father and the living incorruptible blood of Christ on the Mercy Seat for our redemption.

Peter says we are not saved by corruptible but incorruptible, by the Word of God who is Jesus Christ, He is living and able to save to the utmost. Also the scripture say there is no remission of sin without the shedding of blood. The only way I am saved is; by the shedding of, incorruptible blood of Christ, because by faith I believe it to be true.

"Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold…But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot" (I Peter 1:18-19).

So if I am redeemed it cannot be corruptible things, so the precious blood of Christ without blemish or spot, "precious blood of Christ", being incorruptible is the only thing that can save me.

The life of the flesh is in the blood. The shed blood speaks of the life of the flesh that is poured out It is only when the life of flesh is poured out that the life of Christ can be poured into us.

When Jesus was on earth, He was sinless because he lived a life of total dependence on God His Father. Whatever that is not of faith is sin.

Is it not possible for God to give Jesus 100% human blood that did not come from Adam?

Brother Philip:

Against sound counsel you are dismissing what others are saying. If I go through those scripture texts, I can assure you it will not be me or those disagreeing with you, but you brother who are missing it.
16: 10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption
It means Jesus body will not enter into decay, look at the context.
Acts 2:27, this is a quoting of the above text, Luke uses it in the same sense. Luke is teaching on the death and resurrection of Jesus.

I Peter 1:18-19
18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
That corruptible thing is that thing which is will eventually see decay.
Jesus as a man living forever has put on incorruption by reason of his resurrection and the power of God.
Not by reason of some intrinsic quality within his blood.
Again this text does not point to Jesus blood as being "God-blood", but instead likened to that of a sacrificial lamb...an animal sacrifice.

2 peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

The context being the corruption or destruction of all things preparing the way for the new.
This has no inference to any 'blood of any kind'.

Luke 24:39 39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

The context is Jesus is appearing to them as a resurrected man, not a spirit. Jesus later ate with them. This has no bearing on the intrinsic nature of Jesus blood.

John 20:27
Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

Another post-resurrection event, proving nothing regarding the intrinsic nature of Jesus blood.

Matthew 28:9

Another post-resurrection event, proving nothing regarding the intrinsic nature of Jesus blood.

heb 9:11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;

12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

This even more dangerous for your position, for as Jesus was fully human (which you have conferred) "by his own blood" not God's blood, or a hybrid blood, but by his own human blood he entered in...I can make a very clear and provable inference here you brother cannot.

mark 16:19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

Being received because of what? A hybrid blood? No, he was received because his sinless life lived in love and obedience to his Father...this qualified him as a sacrifice, having a precious blood to offer.
But yet without that perfect mind, a perfect heart, a will that was always in perfect alignment with God's will and heart that blood would never avail anything.

The rest of the texts offered have never been disputed as to our redemption.

Philip, whenever you offer up proof texts like this, you don't prove your position, you prove mine...I don't need any greek definition or any nuances of meaning or any theological gymnastics, the straight bare-faced reading eliminates any necessity for any of us to reconsider our interpretation.

We are only asking that you reconsider your own interpretation.

Adam had a perfect human flesh with human blood. Neither his body nor his blood caused his disobedience.

Jesus Christ - the last Adam - had real human flesh and real human blood. Neither His body nor His blood caused His obedience.

You make it sound that Christ's fleshy body and blood was somehow superior than ours. That is a lie from hell!

Rom 8:3 God sent his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh.

His flesh was just as weak as ours. Do not forget that Christ could not even carry His own cross because of weak flesh.

The Passover.

There is no conflict or disagreement about The Passover:
”” the first Passover in Egypt, when the blood of the lamb was put on the doorframes of the people of Israel; causing the destroying Angel of God to Passover them when he was slaying the firstborn.
”” the annual feast of the Passover,
* when the Flesh BODY of the Passover lamb was left without in the sanctuary,
* and only the high priest would enter into the Holiest of All [aka "The Holiest of Holies"]
* carrying only the Blood of the Passover Lamb into the Holy of Holies ...
Think about it:
”” If the Blood of the Passover Lamb was the only sacrament which was taken into the Holiest of all,
* and if the Flesh Body of the Passover Lamb was left in the sanctuary outside the Holiest of all;
”” And if the resurrected and glorified body of Jesus Christ, the flesh body which was sacrificed on the cross,
* is one part of the two-part, only sacramental ritual of the Christian church, the communion (aka 'Eucharist');
”” Then why is the Blood of the Passover Lamb largely ignored by the clergy?
Here is the message which should be told to the church of Jesus Christ:

The new covenant - of the new testament of God ... and the one true Passover which was foreshadowed in the scripture from the time of Abel the son of Adam the son of God;

* which Passover was fulfilled exactly ONCE for all time;

* it is not the flesh body of the Passover lamb which takes away sins, or which makes even Heaven itself clean;

* it is the Blood of The Lamb which taketh away the sins of the world.

Apostle Paul wrote about Jesus Christ performing the final fulfillment of all the law and the prophets:
"But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made by hands, that is to say, not of this building ... by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us." [Hebrews 9:10-11]

I know that Apostle Paul did not (could not?) explain exactly in detail what Jesus Christ did with His Blood.

This is what I was taught about the Blood of Jesus that He shed on the cross;

”” taught by my mentor in Christ almost forty years ago,

”” who was a "fulfilled Jew" (her own words),

”” who was an anointed evangelist, teacher and prophetess (I believe an apostle).

That the resurrected Jesus Christ;

”” immediately after He was raised from the dead and exited the tomb;

”” after telling Mary "Touch me not for I have not yet ascended unto the Father"

”” and telling Mary "I ascend to the Father" [in the immediate tense: "NOW ASCEND"]

”” ascended to the seventh heaven, to the Mercy Seat of the Almighty God.

In heaven the resurrected and glorified Jesus Christ fulfilled the final prophecy and law regarding the Messiah:

”” As the only HIGH PRIEST of the Passover

”” He bore the Blood of the Lamb,

”” to the Mercy Seat of the Eternal Father,

”” where The Blood of the Lamb remains forever as witness to the blood of the new testament:

I have paid for all of your sins, they are paid for; I have redeemed with my own blood the price of your salvation; and I have surely saved you and returned you to The Father.

That is how certain is our salvation by the Almighty God, the Everlasting Father and The Prince of Peace.

Oh boy, what do we have here? Look at this big mess. What we have here are two camps, those who believe God and His Word and those who dont.

Phillip, pardon my bluntness. I'm not as educated or eloquent as Bro. Marvin or some others but I will as the Bible says use plainness of speech. Even at the risk of being thought harsh or judgemental because I don't want you to go to hell. That's exactly where you are headed if you don't repent.

It doesn't matter what your mentor taught you. It doesn't matter what anybody's preacher or momma and daddy said. The Bible says faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.

That's why you are messed up sir, because you are trying to justify your position with science. The Bible says avoid oppositions of science falsely so called.

Why is the Word of God not good enough for you? When Jesus was tempted of Satan He answered every time with

IT IS WRITTEN.

He didn't say well here is what science days of the leader of the synagogue down the road teaches.

Your teaching doesn't line up with Scripture. What your mentor taught you doesn't line up with Scripture.

The Bible says let God be true and every man a liar.

The Gospel is simple.

2 Corinthians 11:3-4 KJV
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. [4] For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him .

Others have posted these Scriptures but I'll post them again

Hebrews 4:15 KJV
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Hebrews 2:14-18 KJV
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; [15] And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. [16] For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. [17] Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. [18] For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

Jesus was tempted like we are. Bible says Jesus got Hungry. Jesus rested at the well because he was weary. Jesus took naps on the boat. Jesus often time got frustrated with people asking foolish questions when they knew better. Jesus got mad, Jesus cried. Jesus sighed.

1 John 4:1-3 KJV
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. [2] Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: [3] And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Now we've given you the Bible repeatedly and according to Titus you need to avoid these things making you question the Word of God.

Titus 3:9-11 KJV
But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. [10] A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; [11] Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

See this is important because were not talking about issues like how many songs should the church sing before the preacher gets up or trifles or pet peeves. Were talking about the nature of Jesus the Son of God whom the Scripture makes it painstakingly obvious that He was like us yet without sin.

Believe the Bible. Obey it.

Friend, Bible says much study is a weariness to the flesh. Your weary and confused because you've been trying to find science to line up with the few Scripture you twist to justify you instead of simply taking all the Scripture as it was given to us.

Peter said many wrestle with the Scripture unto their own destruction. Why? Because they can't take it for how it's written. Thatd be to simple.

Don't be one of them. You have everything you need. God has given us everything we need in Scripture. If you can't base what you believe and live by Scripture only, and have to go outside of Scripture for reassurance then you are wrong.

That voice speaking to you isn't the Holy Spirit if it contradicts the Word of God.

Friend, I may sound hateful or harsh but you are on the wrong path.

Your mentor won't be there for you on judgment day, you will have to answer to the Word of God. God won't be interested in what Epigenetic says or science says or your grandma says. He will be looking for those who believed His Word.

We have hope in Jesus that because He was made like unto us and overcame we can overcome also.

Jesus overcame every temptation, trial and obstacle and we can to. Bible says we can do all things through Christ which strengthens us.

Love ya.

http://www.markrector.com/where_is_the_blood_of_jesus_christ.htm

I started this whole Blood of Christ process because I wanted to know how the Blood got on the true mercy seat before the throne of God the Father in the Heavenly sanctuary in Heaven.

There has to be something special in the Blood of Christ for it is the only Blood God would accept for the taking away of the sin of me and the World.

The Blood from Genesis to Revelation is something very big with God, I am trying to understand how important the Blood is for me and what it can do in my "Christ in me" position with what God has done by He that is in me, 1 Corinthians 1:30-31 (KJV) But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

Hebrews 10:29 (KJV) Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

Being sanctified by the Blood of Christ is to me the biggest thing I can attain to.

Only the Blood of Christ can make us Holy.

By: Andrew Murray

The blood of Jesus is the greatest mystery of eternity, the deepest mystery of the divine wisdom. Let us not imagine that we can easily grasp its meaning. God thought 4,000 years necessary to prepare men for it, and we also must take time, if we are to gain a knowledge of the power of the blood.
Even taking time is of no avail, unless there is definite taking of sacrificial trouble. Sacrificial blood always meant the offering of a life. The Israelite could not obtain blood for the pardon of his sin, unless the life of something that belonged to him was offered in sacrifice. The Lord Jesus did not offer up His own life, and shed His blood to .spare us from the sacrifice of our lives. No, indeed 1 but to make the sacrifice of our lives possible and desirable.
The hidden value of His blood is the spirit of self-sacrifice, and where the blood really touches the heart, it works out in that heart, a like spirit of self-sacrifice. We learn to give up ourselves and our lives, so as to press into the full power of that new life, which the blood. has provided.
We give our time in order that we may become acquainted with these things by God's Word. We separate ourselves from sin and worldly-mindedness, and self-will, that the power of the blood may not be hindered, for it is just these things that the blood seeks to remove.
We surrender ourselves wholly to God in prayer and faith, so as not to think our own thoughts, and not to hold our own lives as a prize, but as possessing nothing save what He bestows. Then He reveals to us the glorious and blessed life which has been prepared for us by the blood.
iv. We can rely upon the Lord Jesus to reveal to us the power of His blood.
It is by this confident trust in Him that the blessing obtained by the blood becomes ours. We must never, in thought, separate the blood from the High Priest who shed it, and ever lives to apply it.
He who once gave His blood for us, will, oh I so surely, every moment, impart its efficacy. Trust Him to do this. Trust Him to open your eyes, and to give you a deeper spiritual insight. Trust Him to teach you to think about the blood as God thinks about it. Trust Him to impart to you, and to make effective in you, all that He enables you to see.
Trust Him above all, in the power of His eternal High Priesthood, to work out in you, unceasingly, the full merits of His blood, so that your whole life may be an uninterrupted abiding in the sanctuary of God's presence.
Believer, you who have come to the knowledge of the precious blood, hearken to the invitation of your Lord. Come nearer. Let Him teach you; let Him bless you. Let Him cause His blood to become to you spirit, and life, and power, and truth.
Begin now, at once, to open your soul in faith, to receive the full, mighty, heavenly effects of the precious blood, in a more glorious manner than you have ever experienced. He Himself will work these things out in your life.

In Christ: His Blood in me, By the Faith of Jesus Christ:
Galatians 2:20 (KJV) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Yes His blood was precious and the fact that it was normal human blood makes it so. His blood did not make Him obedient nor will His blood make us obedient.

"The blood and the Spirit ever bear testimony together. Where the blood is honoured in faith or preaching, there the Spirit works; and where He works He always leads souls to the blood. The Holy Spirit could not be given till the blood was shed. The living bond between the Spirit and the blood cannot be broken.
It should be seriously noticed, that if the full power of the blood is to be manifested in our souls, we must place ourselves under the teaching of the Holy Spirit.
We must firmly believe that He is in us, carrying on His work in our hearts. We must live as those who know that the Spirit of God really dwells within, as a seed of life, and He will bring to perfection the hidden, powerful effects, of the blood. We must allow Him to lead us.
Through the Spirit the blood will cleanse, sanctify and unite us to God.
When the Apostle desired to arouse believers to hearken to God's voice, with His call to holiness, ((((("Be ye holy, for I am holy,"))))) he reminded them that they had been redeemed by the precious blood of Christ."

If the Blood of Christ is my redemption, how much more my sanctification, wisdom and righteousness? 1 Cor 1:30

1 Corinthians 10:16 (KJV) The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

Ephesians 2:13 (KJV) But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

Hebrews 9:14 (KJV) How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

1 Peter 1:2 (KJV) Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

1 Peter 1:19 (KJV) But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

1 John 1:7 (KJV) But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Revelation 1:5 (KJV) And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Its effects are manifold, for we read in Scripture of RECONCILIATION through the blood; CLEANSING through the blood; SANCTIFICATION through the blood; UNION WITH GOD through the blood; VICTORY over Satan through the blood; LIFE through the blood.
These are separate blessings but are all included in one sentence: REDEMPTION BY THE BLOOD.
It is only when the believer understands what these blessings are, and by what means they may become his, that he can experience the full power of REDEMPTION.
Before passing on to consider in detail these several blessings let us first inquire, in a more general way, concerning THE POWER OF THE BLOOD OF JESUS.
1st. WHEREIN DOES THE POWER OF THAT BLOOD LIE?

What a glorious thought for everyone who desires to experience the full power of the blood
ii. But the power of the blood lies above everything else in the fact that it is offered to God on the altar for redemption.
When we think of blood as shed, we think of death; death follows, when the blood or the soul is poured out. Death makes us think of sin, for death is the punishment of sin. God gave Israel the blood on the altar, as the atonement or covering for sin; that means-the sins of the transgressor were laid on the victim, and its death was reckoned as the death or punishment for the sins laid upon it.
The blood was thus the life given up to death for the satisfaction of the law of God, and in obedience to His command. Sin was so entirely covered and atoned for, it was no longer reckoned as that of the transgressor. He was forgiven.
But all these sacrifices and offerings were only types, and shadows, till the Lord Jesus came. His blood was the reality to which these types pointed.
His blood was in itself of infinite value, because it carried His soul or life. But the atoning virtue of His blood was infinite also, because of the manner in which it was shed. In holy obedience to the Father's will He subjected Himself to the penalty of the broken law, by pouring out His soul unto death. By that death, not only was the penalty borne, but the law was satisfied, and the Father glorified. His blood atoned for sin, and thus made it powerless. It has a marvellous power for removing sin, and opening heaven for the sinner; whom it cleanses, and sanctifies, and makes meet for heaven.
It is because of the Wonderful Person whose blood was shed; and because of the wonderful way in which it was shed, fulfilling the law of God, while satisfying its just demands, that the blood of Jesus has such wonderful power. It is the blood of Atonement, and hence has such efficacy to redeem; accomplishing everything for, and in, the sinner, that is necessary to salvation.

In Christ by the Blood: Phillip; Looking for a new body of flesh and bone of which life is the Spirit.

It was still plain old human blood.

Once again there was nothing mystical about Jesus’ blood.

What matters is the sacrificial manner of his death.

Every time Murray uses the word blood he is using it as a shorthand way of saying "sacrificial death of the sinless lamb.”

He is NOT saying there was something mystical about the blood itself.

C
Christinyou

There is no other blood I know of or in scripture that was acceptable to God our Father for the perfect past, present and future which was shed by Jesus Christ that could take away the sin of the whole world and do so much more for our reconciling us to the Father so completely that we might enter the Holy of Holies in the presents of Our Father and has allowed us to speak directly to "Our Father who art in Heaven"

Hebrews 9:22, "...without shedding of blood is no remission.” Jesus' death was just as important as His blood sacrifice, and equally important the burial and resurrection; BUT everything concerning the events of Jesus' life were leading up to the blood being applied to the Mercy Seat in Heaven.

The Blood Does NOT Merely Represent Jesus' Death!

by David J. Stewart
There is a damnable heresy circulating in many of our churches today, popularized by religious liberal, John MacArthur. Moody Publishers sadly prints all of MacArthur's liberal books these days. Moody Ministries has really gone downhill spiritually. Dr. MacArthur teaches that Jesus' liquid blood has no value or significance in and of itself. He claims that Jesus' blood is important only in the sense that it represents the DEATH of Christ. Nothing could be further from the truth!
In MacArthur's Bible commentary, he teaches that Hebrews 9:12 doesn't mean what it says. Hebrews 9:12, "Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but BY HIS OWN BLOOD he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.” John MacArthur teaches that the phrase "BY HIS OWN BLOOD” only refers to Jesus' death, and not Christ's literal blood. It is a sinful thing to diminish the literal teachings of the Bible as only being figurative unless the Bible indicates otherwise. For example: In Revelation 1:20 we are told that the mystery of the seven stars are the seven angels, and the seven candlesticks are the seven churches. No where in the Bible are we ever told that the death of Jesus is represented by the blood. Thus, if the Bible teaches in Hebrews 9:12 that Jesus entered into the heavenly holy place BY HIS OWN BLOOD, then we must accept this truth literally. MacArthur is perverting the Scriptures.
When God told Moses to warn the Israelites concerning the coming 10th plague, i.e., the death of the firstborn, the people were instructed to kill a lamb, and then APPLY the lamb's blood to the side and upper doorposts of the home. John MacArthur likely learned his heresies from Robert B. Thieme Jr. and John MacArthur Exodus 12:23, "And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.” Did you read that ... WHEN I SEE THE BLOOD!!!
...WHEN I SEE THE BLOOD!!!
R.B. Thieme Jr. and John MacArthur Jr. are fools to diminish the importance of the literal, physical, blood of Jesus Christ. MacArthur has tried to defend himself by saying that he loves the blood of Jesus and upholds it's importance; but he plainly maintains that the blood is only important and precious in that it REPRESENTS THE DEATH of Christ. MacArthur clearly denies the efficacy (power) of Christ's literal, physical, blood.
Carefully notice that the Lord wasn't looking for the dead lamb. Rather, the blood had to be APPLIED. Also, please read, The Importance of the Blood. Hebrews 10:29, "Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?” (This means that the blood of the covenant is a Holy Thing.)
The blood is very important. The Bible is very plain that Jesus entered into the heavenly holy place after He arose from the dead. Jesus ascended into Heaven with His blood. The blood had to be applied. Hebrews 9:12, "Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.” Shame on these fake Bible scholars who trample upon the blood. MacArthur is wrong, wrong, wrong to say that Jesus' blood is precious to him when in reality he only sees Christ's blood as symbolic of His death.

The blood of Jesus is better, and it has ushered us into greater realities than our minds can safely wrap around. I pray that we would experience a better revelation of Jesus’ precious, powerful blood.
The power of Jesus’ blood brought us into a better reality than Eden. In Eden, God walked with man. Because of Jesus, God lives in man through the Holy Spirit (John 14:17).
The power of Jesus’ blood brought us into a better glory than the Old Covenant. In the Old Covenant, priests could die because of their behavior in the presence; because of Jesus’ behavior, we can live as a people inhabited by God’s presence (2 Cor. 3).
The power of Jesus’ blood made it possible for our tent of human flesh, stained by sin in the Garden, to become a fit dwelling place for the holy presence (1 Cor. 6:19).
Jesus’ Blood Made You Fit to Be God’s House on Earth!
This absolutely overwhelms me. The presence of the Genesis 1:1 God (who spoke the worlds into existence!) now resides in our mortal, human flesh. Reflect on it even further ...
The blood of Jesus made it possible for our flesh to remain intact while housing the eternal, immortal, indescribable glory of God. The Holy Spirit is not a second-class citizen. He is not some lesser Person of the Trinity. He is God Almighty, and it is He who has come to live in you!
I invite you to make this your meditation this year and forever. The Holy Spirit lives within you. This means that God, the creator and sustainer of all things, has come to take up residence in your body. There is no closer He can come than inside of you! And get this””His presence has not come to visit, but to remain. Not for a season. Not while you’re good enough, when you become perfect or when you finally have it all together. This reality is not a temporary, Old Testament deal where the Holy Spirit comes upon you for a season or a task, then leaves. No. Jesus said that the Spirit would abide with you forever (John 14:16).
The blood of Jesus made it possible for you to be indwelt by God Himself. Truly, this is a testimony of the power of Jesus’ blood and what makes it the most powerful force in all of the universe.
The holy presence of God that no temple or tabernacle could truly contain now resides in your tent of redeemed flesh and blood. The glory that Moses could only behold in part, lest he be completely vaporized, now inhabits your mortal frame. Bricks and mortar were never God’s ultimate design””they simply gave us a prophetic picture for the glorious house that Jesus would lay down his life to build: a people filled with God that see God’s glory cover the earth as the water covers the sea!

I do agree with this but Jesus Christ, the human man was not born with sinless blood. The fact that Christ did not sin gave his normal human blood value. Christ's blood did not make Him sinless. It was God the Father manifiesting Himself in Christ's human body and human blood.

The completion of "be ye Holy for I am Holy"; By Arthur Murray.

"" God has separated you unto HIMSELF, and that you might feel this He set His mark upon you. That mark is the most wonderful thing that is to be found on earth or in heavenTHE BLOOD OF JESUS. The blood in which the life of the eternal Son of God is; the blood that on the throne of grace is ever before God's face; the blood that assures you of full redemption from the power of sin; that blood is sprinkled upon you, (as upon the priests of the earthly tabernacle) as a sign that you belong to God.
Believer, I pray you, let every thought about the blood awaken in you the glorious confession, "By his own blood, the Lord Jesus has sanctified me, he has taken complete possession of me for God, and I belong entirely to God."
We have seen that SANCTIFICATION is more than separation. That is only the beginning. We have seen also that personal consecration and hearty willing surrender to live only for, and in God's holy will, is part of SANCTIFICATION.
In what way can the blood of Christ work out this surrender in us, and SANCTIFY us in that surrender? The answer is not difficult. It is not enough to believe fully in the power of the blood to redeem us, and to free us from sin, but we must, above all, notice the source of this power.
We know that it has this power, because of the willingness with which the Lord Jesus surrenders Himself. In the shedding of His blood He sanctifies: Himself, offered Himself entirely to God and His holiness. It is because of this that the blood is so holy, and possesses such sanctifying power. In the blood we have an impressive representation of the self-surrender of Christ. The blood ever speaks of the consecration of Jesus to the Father, as the opening of the way, and supplying the power for victory over sin. And the closer we come into contact with the blood, and the more we live under the deep impression of having been sprinkled by the blood, we shall hear more clearly the voice of the blood, declare that "Entire surrender to God is the way to full redemption from sin."
The voice of the blood will not speak simply to teach us or to awaken thought; the blood speaks with a divine and life giving power. What it commands, that it bestows. It works out in us the same disposition that was in our Lord Jesus. By His own blood Jesus sanctifies Himself then us, that we, holding nothing back, might surrender ourselves with all our hearts to the holy will of God.

But CONSECRATION itself even along with any; following SEPARATION is still only a preparation, Entire Sanctification takes place when God takes possession of and fills with His glory the temple that is consecrated to Him. "There will I meet with the children of Israel, and they shall be sanctified by my glory" (Exod. xxix. 43j. Actual, complete SANCTIFICATION consists in God's impartation of His own holiness-of Himself.

Here also the blood speaks:-It tells us that heaven is opened, that the powers of the heavenly life have come down to earth, that every hindrance has been removed, and God can make His abode with man.
Immediate nearness and fellowship with God, are made possible by the blood. The believer who surrenders himself unreservedly to the blood, obtains the full assurance that God will bestow Himself wholly, and will reveal His holiness in him.

How glorious are the results of such a SANCTIFICATION! Through the Holy Spirit, the soul's intercourse is in the living experience of God's abiding nearness ; accompanied by the awakening of the tenderest carefulness against sin; guarded by caution and the fear of God.

But to live in watchfulness against sin does not satisfy the soul. The temple must not only be cleansed but it must be filled with God's glory. All the virtues of divine holiness, as manifested in the Lord Jesus, are to be sought for and found, in fellowship with God. Sanctification means union with God in the eternal life and power of the Blood of Christ; fellowship in His will; sharing His life; conformity to His image.

Christians-"Wherefore Jesus also . . . suffered without the gate that he might sanctify his people with his own blood. Let us go forth unto him without the camp." Yes; it is He who sanctifies His people. "Let us go forth unto him." Let us trust Him to make known to us the power of the blood. Let us yield ourselves wholly to its blessed efficacy. That blood, through which He sanctified Himself, has entered heaven to open it for us. It can make our hearts also a throne of God, that the grace and glory of God may dwell in us. Yes; "let us go forth unto him without the camp." He who is willing to lose, and say farewell to everything, in order that Jesus may sanctify him, will not fail to obtain the blessing. He who is willing at any cost to experience the full power of the precious blood, can confidently reckon that he will be sanctified by Jesus Himself, through that blood.

"The very God of peace sanctify you wholly with the only precious blood that God the Father has accepted for eternity to take away your sin and mine and the whole world in believing it." Amen.""

I thought this is a very beautiful ending to this thread;
"Be ye Holy for I am Holy".

There is only one thing that sets me free. That thing is the most powerful work of God, in the incorruptible body and blood of Jesus Christ that has occurred for those that believe the Gospel; The cleansing incorruptible power of the Blood of Christ, its power will last forever for all those that trust in the only thing that makes me holy as He is holy, "The Blood of Christ".

It's an important thing to be careful when quoting someone so that by their testimony you use it to validate your own interpretation.

In most cases it seems a good thing and profitable to have validation by the mouth of two or three witnesses. The scriptures themselves declare that unifying testimony to be vouchsafed in heaven.

But so many quotes and sermons are but gloss to the real corrosive...namely a hybrid Jesus with God-blood, carrying metaphysical properties only found by the use of modern science and speculations admixed in epigenetic theory.

It would be wonderful to approach Zinzendorf or any of the other saints whom quoted...would vouch for this hybrid Jesus and declare with you the miracle working properties found intrinsic to Jesus blood.

Would they vouch for a God-blood that inherent in its design needs no divinity for sin cleansing? You may leave the Father God out, you may leave the Spirit of God out...and still by divine metaphysician call Jesus more than man, but hybrid man. The Nicene and all through the old creeds the admixture of human and divine was anathema, there were no orthodox holding to human-gods for this was the stock and trade of the pagan. No Christianity was different in that it admitted no admixtures of human and divine to create a hybrid.

The ancients knew well to hold to the indwelling of the Divine in humanity and the partaking by a human of the divine, but the two were never mixed into one.

The homoousios of the Father and the Son denotes a same essence, but this mixture of God and man in blood form denotes pagan ideas. God dwells with and shall be in us, but we are never the same.

This is not just a disagreement on doctrine.

This is extremely serious issue and is the teaching of the Anti-Christ. It cuts the the very core of true Christianity.

You are presenting a FALSE Christ who could never represent the human race and could not really save anyone!!!

The scripture is clear on this issue.

Rom 8:3 "God sent his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh."

Heb 4:15 "For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin."

1 John 4:1-3 "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world."

You have totally disregarded these scriptures and warnings from other people on the site.

REPENT from this false teaching and stop presenting a FALSE Christ that can save no one!!

"""But Christ Himself cannot make us partakers of eternal life which He has procured for us, save by the shedding of His blood, and causing us to drink it. Marvellous fact! " NOT WITHOUT BLOOD " can eternal life be ours.
Equally striking is our Lord's declaration of the same truth on the last night of His earthly life. Before He completed the great work of His life by giving it " as a ransom for many," He instituted the Holy Supper, saying-" This cup is the New Testament in MY BLOOD that is shed for you and for many for the remission of sins. Drink ye all of it." (Matt. xxvi. 28). "without shedding of blood there is no remission of sins." Without remission of sins there is no life. But by the shedding of His BLOOD He has obtained a new life for us. By what He calls " the drinking of His blood " He shares His life with us. The blood SHED in the Atonement, which frees us from the SIN, the guilt of sin; and from death, the punishment of sin; the blood, which by faith we drink, bestows on us His life. The BLOOD He shed was, in the first place FOR us, and is then given TO us.
III. THE TEACHING OF THE APOSTLES UNDER THE INSPIRATION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
After His Resurrection and Ascension, our Lord is not any longer known by the Apostles "after the flesh." Now, all that was symbolical has passed away, and the deep spiritual truths expressed by symbol, are unveiled.
But there is no veiling of THE BLOOD. It still occupies a prominent place.
Turn first to the Epistle to the Hebrews, which was written purposely to show that the Temple service had become unprofitable, and was intended by God to pass away, now that Christ had come.
Here, if anywhere, it might be expected that the Holy Spirit would emphasise the true spirituality of God's purpose, yet it is just here that the Blood of Jesus is spoken of in a manner that imparts a new value to the phrase.
We read concerning our Lord that "by His own blood he entered into the holy place" (Heb. ix. 12).
"The Blood of Christ-shall purge your conscience" ( ver. 14).
"Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus" (Heb. x. I9).
"Ye are come-to Jesus the Mediator of the New Covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling" (xii. 24).
"Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood suffered without the gate" (xiii. 12, 23).
"God-brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus-through the blood of the everlasting covenant" (xiii. 20).
By such words the Holy Spirit teaches us that the blood is really the central power of our entire redemption. "NOT WITHOUT BLOOD" is as valid in the New Testament as in the Old.
Nothing but the Blood of Jesus, shed in His death for sin, can cover sin on God's side, or remove it on ours.
We find the same teaching in the writings of the Apostles. Paul writes of "being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus . . . through faith in his blood" (Rom. iii. 24, 25), Of "being now justified by his blood" (v. 9).
To the Corinthians he declares that the "cup of blessing which we bless is the communion of the Blood of Christ" (I Cor. x. I6).
In the Epistle to the Galatians he uses the word "CROSS" to convey the same meaning, while in Colossians he united the two words and speaks of "The Blood of his Cross" (Gal. vi. 14 ; Col. i. 20).
He reminds the Ephesians that "We have redemption through his blood" and that we "are made nigh by the blood of Christ" (Eph. i. 7 and ii. I3).
Peter reminds his readers that they were "Elect . . . unto obedience and sprinkling of the Blood of Jesus" (I Pet. i. 2), that they were redeemed by "the precious blood of Christ" (ver. 19).
See how John assures his "little children" that "The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin" (I John i. 7). The Son is He "who came not by water only but by water and blood" (v. 6).
All of them agree together in mentioning the blood, and in glorying in it, as the power by which eternal redemption through Christ, is fully accomplished, and is then applied by the Holy Spirit.
IV. But perhaps this is merely earthly language. What has Heaven to say? WHAT DO we LEARN FROM THE BOOK OF REVELATION CONCERNING THE FUTURE GLORY AND THE BLOOD?
It is of the greatest importance to notice, that in the revelation which God has given in this book, of the glory of His throne, and the blessedness of those who surround it, the blood still retains its remarkably prominent place.
On the throne John saw "A Lamb as it had been slain" (Rev. v. 6). As the Elders fell down before the Lamb they sang a new song saying, "Thou art worthy . . . for thou vast slain and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood" (vers. 8 and 9).
Later on when he saw the great company which no man could number, he was told in reply to his question as to who they were, "They have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."
Then again, when he heard the song of victory over the defeat of Satan, its strain was, "They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb" (xii. 11).
In the glory of heaven, as seen by John, there was no phrase by which the great purposes of God; the wondrous love of the Son of God; the power of His redemption; and the joy and thanksgiving of the redeemed; can be gathered up and expressed save this-"THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB." From the beginning to the end of Scripture; from the closing of the gates of Eden, to the opening of the gates of the Heavenly Zion, there runs through Scripture a golden tbread. It is "THE BLOOD" that unites the beginning and the end; that gloriously restores what sin had destroyed.
It is not difficult to see what lessons the Lord wishes us to learn from the fact that the blood occupies such a prominent place in Scripture.
i. God has no other way of dealing with sin, or the sinner,
save through the blood.
For victory over sin and the deliverance of the sinner God has no other means or thought than "THE BLOOD OF CHRIST." Yes, it is indeed something that surpasses all understanding."""

by Andrew Murray

Murray does not use the Blood of Christ as just a symbol of His death. The blood on the door posts had to be seen, the people had to be sprinkled by Moses, the mercy seat had to be sprinkled by blood of Christ in the Heavenly Holy of Holies. Without the shed blood of Christ and its proper use the death of Christ could not take away the sin of the world.

"""So you are saying Christ did NOT come to earth in human flesh and blood which is a lie and has its roots spirit of antichrist."""

No; That is not what I am saying. Phillip

The blood that Jesus had that was shed was the blood that God His Father gave Him by the virgin birth of Mary, that blood had to be exactly what The Father would accept as the only sacrificial blood of the perfect Lamb of God to take away the sin of the world for those that would believe that Jesus had come in the flesh and has finished the work of the Cross that Jesus came to fulfill for our salvation by believing what He has done.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (WEB) Now I declare to you, brothers, the Good News which I preached to you, which also you received, in which you also stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold firmly the word which I preached to you--unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,

1Jo 4:2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit who confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,

This I believe.

1Jo 4:3 and every spirit who doesn't confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God, and this is the spirit of the antichrist, of whom you have heard that it comes. Now it is in the world already.

1 John 1:7 (WEB) But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.

1Co 10:16 The cup of blessing which we bless, isn't it a communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, isn't it a communion of the body of Christ?
Eph 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off are made near in the blood of Christ.
Heb 9:14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
1Pe 1:19 but with precious blood, as of a faultless and pure lamb, the blood of Christ;

This is the Blood I believe in;

When I wrote the name Mike - I made a mistake - sorry.

Again I believe all those scriptures but the main reason that the blood is so precious is that fact that is was NORMAL Human Blood.

The Lie you are presenting is saying that Jesus blood was not real human blood at all. Now this lie is NOT scriptural at all and I have shown you scripture that proves that this is a lie.

To state that Christ had "special blood" denies the fact that He came to earth AS A "NORMAL" human with Human flesh, bone and blood. This is what you deny and still deny even after being warned by many others here on SI.

Christ the man when He was on earth had the same flesh, bones and blood as you and I do and He did not sin.

Heb. 2:16-18, "For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted."

Our blood is not the source of sin or evil. There is nothing sinful or evil about it. Our blood is NOT our enemy.

Before Adam and Eves sinned there was nothing wrong or sinful about their blood. Their blood had NO part to play in their sin. Christ lived a sinless life but His blood had no part to play in His obedience.

You also said that Christ’s blood kept Him from sinning which is also a lie because He was kept from sinning by faith in His Father. It was God the Father who made a covenant pledge to His Son: "I, the LORD, have called You in righteousness, and will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, as a light to the Gentiles" (Isaiah 42:6). God was saying, "My hand will always be holding on to Yours. You will never be away from My keeping power. I pledge to keep You safe from all the schemes of the devil."

And Christ appropriated this promise of help from His Father: "My God shall be My strength" (Isaiah 49:5), and "I will put My trust in Him" (Hebrews 2:13). He was saying in these verses, "My Father made a covenant with Me, and it's settled. It is good for eternity, because He cannot lie. He said He would be My strength - and now I appropriate all of that promised power."

The Value and Use of Blood!
James Smith, 1865

"Not without blood!" Hebrews 9:7

Blood! There is something startling in the sound of blood, and often more startling in the sight of it. Yet every part of the Bible is sprinkled with blood; and from the sin of Adam ”” to the death of Jesus, God required blood. The blood is the life. When God gave man a being, he required that his life should be spent in his service, to his praise. When man failed to obey, his existence was forfeited ”” and blood was required. The Son of God, in the everlasting covenant, had engaged to shed His blood for us; in consequence of which, animal blood was demanded in sacrifice ”” until His blood should be shed. Abel sacrificed and offered blood ”” so did all the patriarchs. Thus they confessed guilt, acknowledged their desert, agreed to substitution, and exercised faith in a coming Savior.
Under the law, everything was sanctified with blood; priests and people, tabernacle and furniture, the book of the covenant, and even the mercy-seat. Blood was constantly kept before the eyes of the people; and in reference to access to God, acceptance with God, or obtaining blessings from God ”” the law said, "Not without blood."
When the blood of Jesus was shed ”” no more blood was required: God was satisfied. But all our privileges, blessings, and enjoyments ”” now come to us through blood ”” the precious blood of Jesus. Are we redeemed? It is through the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. Are we justified? It is by His blood. Have we peace? It is through His blood. Let us look at a few particulars, and see the value and use of the blood.
There is no atonement without blood, for "it is the blood which makes atonement for the soul." The blood of Jesus alone could atone for sin. That met the Divine requirements, that honored the Divine government, that laid a foundation on which God and man could meet and be friends. We are reconciled to God ”” by the death of His Son. We have peace with God ”” by "faith in His blood." The blood of Jesus made a full, perfect, and everlasting atonement for all sin; that whoever believes may not perish ”” but have everlasting life.
There is no pardon without blood. We have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of our sins; but, without shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin. God's justice must be satisfied before His grace can be exercised toward sinners; and thus God is just, while He is the justifier of him who believes in Jesus. Through the blood, anyone may obtain pardon, for nothing is easier, nothing is more pleasant to God, than to pardon sinners for the sake of Jesus; hence it is written, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." But while God pardons every sinner who applies for pardon through the blood of Jesus ”” he will not pardon in any other way; for no blood ”” no pardon; no pleading the blood ”” no enjoyment of pardon.
There is no reconciliation to God without blood. Jesus has made peace through the blood of His cross; and it is at the cross, and at the cross alone ”” that God will meet sinners, and receive them into His favor and friendship. God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself; and it is through the blood of Jesus ”” that He manifests His pity, compassion, and infinite love now; and it is the manifestation of His pity, compassion, and love ”” which breaks our hearts, produces evangelical repentance, fills us with holy love, and so reconciles us to God's character, perfections, and government.
There is no access to God without blood. The way to the mercy-seat was sprinkled with blood, and the blood in the basin was carried in the hand of the priest when he went into the holiest; so that the first thing that the eye of God saw, was the blood, and on account of that, he accepted both priest and people. It is through Jesus ”” Jesus as the slain Lamb ”” that we, both Jews and Gentiles, have access by one Spirit unto the Father. The new and living way into the holiest is consecrated for us by the blood of our great High Priest, and we have now access with confidence by the faith of Him.
There is no subduing sin without blood. Unpardoned sin is unconquered sin; for we can never subdue sin, unless it is brought into contact with the blood of Christ. If the weeds of sin fade and die ”” it is because the blood of Jesus is laid at the roots. The more we exercise faith in the blood of Jesus ”” the more power we gain over our corruptions, and the more easily we overcome our evil propensities.
There is no cleansing from sin without blood. Guilt will adhere to the conscience, torment the spirit, confuse the judgment, and produce a thousand horrid fears ”” until the blood of Jesus is sprinkled upon it. But if we walk in the light, as our God is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. All sin ”” every sin ”” every stain ”” every trace of sin! Thus the blood of Christ purges our consciences from dead works, to serve the living and the true God. Precious, precious blood of Jesus!
There is no conquering Satan without blood. He cares not for our reasonings. He laughs at many of our feeble attempts to conquer him. But the blood of Jesus makes him tremble and flee before us. Hence it is written of the tempted and persecuted saints of old, that though the old serpent the Devil deceived the whole world ”” "they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives unto the death." Satan will surely flee before us, if we resist him steadfast in the faith; steadfastly believing in the infinite virtue and everlasting efficacy of the blood of Jesus.
There is no walking with God without blood. No criminal can be permitted to enjoy the friendship and fellowship of the Sovereign; and such are we, until the blood is apprehended by us, and applied to us. If I would come to God, enjoy peace with God, realize acceptance before God, and hold close and intimate communion with God ”” it must be through the blood of His dear Son! I must therefore daily use the blood, washing my robes and making them white in the blood of the Lamb.
There is no peace in death without blood. Death dissipates a thousand vain imaginations, destroys a thousand false refuges, and strips off a thousand false coverings. Many have found that what did for health and ease ”” will not do for sickness and death. Nothing but the blood of Christ, at the root of our profession, as the ground of our hope, as our plea at the throne of grace ”” will give us peace in the hour of death. But if we see the worth and excellency of the blood of Jesus, if we rely on it alone for our acceptance with God, if we oppose it to our sins, doubts, and fears ”” there will be peace; solid, settled, substantial peace. There is no admission to heaven ”” without blood!
Our title-deeds must be signed with blood, or our claim to the heavenly mansions will not be admitted. We go to heaven ”” because Jesus left it, came to earth, and died to entitle us to it; and if we attempt to go on any other grounds, we shall be rejected and eternally expelled. No blood ”” no heaven. The priest dared not enter the holiest of all, which typified heaven, without blood; nor shall we be allowed to pass over the threshold of the celestial city ”” without the blood of Jesus on us.
Finally, no boldness at the judgment, without blood. This alone will blot out our sins, justify our persons, meet all the demands made upon us, and silence every accuser who rises up against us. Only the blood of Jesus will do all this! For ten thousand worlds, I would not meet God in judgment ”” without the blood of Jesus. But if His blood . . .
satisfies justice,
magnifies the law,
harmonizes the Divine attributes,
blots out all my sins,
justifies my person,
cleanses my garments,
silences all my accusers, and
brings the greatest possible glory to God by my salvation
”” why should I fear the judgment? Shall I not boldly face it, and with everlasting joy rejoice in my acquittal at it? Precious blood of Jesus! I will seek grace to have more to do with You, to exercise more confidence in You, and to speak more of You than ever I have done!
There must be blood on the altar ”” where we place our sacrifices.
There must be blood on that mercy-seat ”” where we offer our prayers.
There must be blood on the conscience ”” when it passes its verdict.
For, except this is the case . . .
our sacrifices will not be accepted,
our prayers will not be heard, and
our consciences will condemn us.
In reference therefore to every duty I perform, every privilege I enjoy, every prospect I anticipate ”” I will say, "Not without blood!"
In reference to every hope I cherish, every blessing I desire, every conquest I seek ”” I will say, "Not without blood!"
I will expect no peace of conscience,
no joy in the Holy Spirit,
no success in my work,
no admission into heaven,
without blood!
But for all I ask of God, for all I desire in time, and all I hope for in eternity ”” I will plead (have faith in) the blood of Jesus, and the blood of Jesus alone! No blood ”” no pardon!
No blood ”” no peace!
No blood ”” no vigorous graces!
No blood ”” no salvation!
For all religion is delusion,
all faith is presumptuous,
all joys are deceptions ””
which do not spring from, or which are not sustained by, the blood of the Lamb, slain from the foundation of the world!

"""KENNETH SMITH 'The Blood of the Everlasting Covenant' in Free Church Witness, March 2005, page 4
"He must also pay for their sins by suffering and dying in their place. His blood must be shed to redeem them.

The Blood
When we speak of the blood of Christ, we refer to His offering the sacrifice of Himself to satisfy divine justice on our behalf. Personally innocent, He would take the sinner's place, answer for the sins of His people, and be counted as guilty before God's justice. It is more that the literal piercing of His side by the Roman soldier. They did indeed pierce His side and blood and water flowed out, as was foretold in Scripture. The shedding of blood indicates the taking of a life. This is shown early in the Scriptures where God said to Cain concerning his murdered brother, 'the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground'. Concerning the Levitical sacrifices the Lord said, 'The life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul'. When the paschal lamb was slain the blood had to be shed and sprinkled. Those offerings never made 'the comers thereunto perfect'; they had no saving efficacy in them. However, they foreshadowed the only blood that could bring salvation.

I do agree with all these scriptures about the PRECIOUS BLOOD of Christ but the fact that it was NORMAL HUMAN BLOOD makes it so. If Christ's blood was not 100% human it would have been COMPLETELY WORTHLESS and would make salvation IMPOSSIBLE!!
