Father God wants us to set our love upon Him in such a way that we will not share it illegally with anyone or anything. God, as a Father, asks that we gather up all we are, all we have, and all we hope to be and place our affection on Him as evidence of our love. This we do without reservation or compromise. This IS the meaning of "seek ye first the kingdom of God" (Matthew 6:33a).
