UPDATE from his wife this morning: "Keith’s greatest need for prayer to get comfortable with mask etc. and stay calm with all the things happening one after the other. God is literally carrying me hour by hour.”
Also he was moved to another hospital where he will get better care. On full rebreather oxygen but in ICU. Please keep praying.

Keith is sedated and incubated for 24 hours then further assessment will be made.
That should probably read "intubated" instead of "incubated" which means that he is on a ventilator. Very serious, keep praying!

We thank you and praise you that you are Brother Keith’s healer, and Lord we believe you to do a miracle in our brother’s life. Father, you have sent forth your Word to heal our brother and to deliver him from his destructions. Hopefully that Keith Daniels get better as he was such an inspiration when he preached in Hell at Greenock in Scotland and helped as we were going through a church split at the time I have been through 3 church splits.
I was amazed at how he could preach through whole books and not pick up his bible from memory
He is an amazing man of God as I thought the ground was going to open up when I heard his preaching on hell

Condition the same as the last 2 days. No deterioration but then no improvement either. They therefore still cannot lower sedation level yet.

"Keith is doing better today. Still ventilated and intubated but body relying less on ventilator. His oxygen saturation levels are improving. He acquired a hospital infection which happens with the best care, but with treatment this is improving. Let us pray on.”
Update today from his wife Jenny:
She was able to stand at the hospital window and see Brother Keith. She spoke to the doctor and while he is still critical, being ventilated and intubated, the doctor is very happy with the present progress. They want him off the ventilator as soon as possible and the next step will be a tracheotomy. She told the doctor we are praying day and night. She said he is a very gracious and caring and careful doctor.
Update today from his wife....
Asking to pray earnestly for improvement. Brother Keith is in stable condition which is not deteriorating, but at the same time he is not improving. Oxygen saturation levels remain at 92% . He’s still on a ventilator though tracheotomy was done. Infection is still there but they believe the antibiotics are working. She will be outside his window again tomorrow ..... (sniff....this touches my heart for so many people)

Dear Friends God is working! Please pray on with even greater fervor that miraculous improvement will continue unabated. What your prayers mean to me only God Himself knows. I have felt my flagging arms held up by your prayers. Please pray on.
Oxygen saturation improved and that lowered ventilator input at 40%.
SpO2 continually above 92% up to 94%.
Blood pressure which had been up and down has stabilized.
Definite improvement dr says and infection under control.

We praise and thank the Lord for this good report, and we believe that God will complete the good work that He has begun in Brother Keith.

Today’s a very important day. They are weaning him off, taking sedation down to wake him up and get him awake. The doctors are happy with the progress so far in the process. His wife, Jenny, continues to be at the window.....

At about 2pm blood pressure dropped and there was a spike in temperature.
He has been given NoR adrenaline to support blood pressure. It is not perfectly stable yet. They are waiting for blood tests. There may be another infection.

Father in heaven, we petition you in the powerful Name of Jesus Christ to heal brother Keith Daniel and cause his fever to cease. Lord preserve your servant for more years of fruitful service for the body is our plea.

So grateful for all who stand with us.”
Dear Saints,
I have been so blessed to see the outpouring of love from the saints here on SI who have been touched by the ministry of this dear saint. Many of us have received spiritual grace the Lord imparted to us through this dear servant. Perhaps the Lord will raise him up and give him more years of fruitful service, but perhaps the seeds of grace that were planted in our lives through him will sprout and multiply his ministry far beyond his limited lifespan.
I was with my father of 87 years as he passed away. His death was precious in the sight of my God and precious to me, for he was a saint. This is a win win situation for God. If God raises brother Keith up from this sickness, God will be glorified. If this dear saint’s time has come - he will be with the Lord which is better for him.
Do not despair - death has already lost its sting - the grave has no victory. The same Lord who delivered Peter from prison allowed him to be crucified upside down. God was glorified in both in his life and in his death.
God has been glorified in Keith Daniel’s life and will be glorified in this dear saints passing - whenever that day may come. The victory is already our Lord’s.

"Report tonight is not good. Keith doing very badly. His oxygen saturation has dropped to 82%. They have had to increase oxygen flow. That was all the info available with emphasis on "not doing well at all.”

"This is where we are now. Keith has secondary infection that they are still treating. Blood pressure still needs support with noradrenaline. He is still on sedation and ventilated (he had a tracheotomy). Last night he had spontaneous pneumothorax on both sides so they have put up drains on both sides. It is not looking good humanly speaking, but I am trusting God, clinging to Him, begging for a miracle. We remain in God’s Hands.”

"Keith in desperate need of prayer. His kidneys have failed and has kidney strain causing swelling. The medication they gave not working. He is on ventilator full flow but they are trying to decrease it a bit. They had to up his blood pressure medication.

She just spoke to the doctor. Medically there is no hope. She says he will have to live on through his messages. She cannot speak to anyone as she is sitting at his window.
Oh I had prayed they would let her in to see him. Jesus have mercy!

I do not understand...but I have peace. Our prayer is for the family. He left an enormous legacy. Though gone from earth his life and sermons still touch us deeply. He has helped me and many of us back to the narrow path.
Amen He was mightily used by God. He touched so many lives including mine. To be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord. May the God of all comfort, Comfort Jenny and all the Daniels as well as the body of Christ and give us all peace at this sad time.
Wonderful servant, praise God for him.
Absent from us but certainly present with Jesus.
To live would have been Christ to die for him is certainly gain.

Although I never knew Keith Daniel, he impacted my life in such a way that I thank the Lord for him and the blazing light he was in this world. May the Lord be comfort and peace to his family.

I was given opportunity to meet him once. Gave me solid wisdom from our Lord. His love for our Lord, and Word is obvious! Will pray for his family as they must move forward without him, till they reunite on the other side.

"Dear Precious Praying Friends.....Today I was at the window right until God took him. I believe GOD KEPT him alive until His purposes were fulfilled in many lives. With kidney failure he was almost unrecognizable, but the staff there did all they could to ease the passage to Heaven. I sang to him in my feeble voice through the barred window. I called out my love to him. The nurses said he was conscious of it and I had to run for something for a few minutes and when I got back he held on heard my voice, and then that faithful heart gave up the struggle as I released him to God. I will miss him more than words can tell, but thank you from my heart for accompanying me on this journey. God bless you.”
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. No one on earth has impacted me more in pursuing holiness and following hard after God. I am ever grateful to God for having met him and had my children sit under his preaching. May God bring the comfort that only He can, and may He raise up others who are anointed like Brother Keith.
I thank God for this man's life and his annual ministry here in the United States.
It's time for a new generation to pick up the torch and run the last lap.

Thanks for updating throughout Bro Daniel’s fight. Certainly asking the Lord to uphold his family, as I know He will.
I’m less familiar with his teaching than I ought to be but sat in on some of his teaching when it was shared during a couple of the conferences. I’ve listened to a few here too.
Thank you, TIm, for your kind words. We actually lost another close family friend today as well. Phil DelRe of Voice in the Wilderness ministries, evangelizing at the infamous Chicago Cook County Jail. Of course we are rejoicing that they are with the Lord, but the gaping hole left in our hearts is immense. It will take big men (in Jesus) to fill those shoes.
I am no one special. Brother Keith was friends with so very many people. We would drive up from Chicago to a tiny Nazarene Church in Milwaukee every year when he would come for his annual tour. The pastor’s wife would have my family to dinner. My 7 children grew up hearing him from about 2005 until the past 2 years when he did not come to our area. I have never been challenged to godliness by anyone else in the way that he did. I cannot thank God enough for allowing him into our lives. And in recent years we were able to get to know his wife, Jenny, as well.
My favorite sermon of his was. "Persecution, Affliction, and Tribulation....”. May his words and heart live on.....

In reflecting on the life of Brother Keith as he has transitioned into Glory, I wanted to share a quote that God put before me yesterday by J. C. Ryle:
"When we awake.....in another world, we shall be amazed that we knew Him so imperfectly, and loved Him so little.”
Brother Keith is in that other world now.....Oh how glorious it must be!!

There is a big difference to listening to him live and listening to him live.
His memory was absolutely amazing just quoting passages one after another from memory
And quote them twice so if you didn't get it the first time , it would impact you the second time
But it was also how he cared for people aswell
He would be in my book in the likes of Charles spurgeon , d l moody and other church great leaders
I have listened to sermons and in person I was worried the floor would open up when he preached like sinners in the hands of angry God like Johnathan Edwards
