Beware of conspiracy theories, political agendas, and offences

My aim is not to discuss any CT in particular but try to refer to a biblical view about current events and movements.

I found that many Christians are becoming more and more engaged in conspiracy theories and political agendas and it concerns me. Some of my dear brother and sister are now constantly railing against our government and their measures.
There are 2 extremes among Christians. Some avoid politics as if it is the devil and others get all stirred up and driven to join anti-establishment movements.

Corona has changed our political landscape massively and it is difficult not to take a position.
Some find the measures government are enforcing overbearing and others wish to have more protection.
Some believe it is a monstrous man-made, decisive move by a shadow regime and others think governments just try their best to protect their citizens.
I am afraid many of my fellow believers are subtly driven off focus and from the simplicity of the faith.

Let us not be naïve. All governments of this world are God ordained but more or less controlled by satanic forces that are restrained by a more or less praying church. Let us not hope for a government that will change for the better but pray dutiful for all those that are in power. Neglecting this is a sin!

When Jesus was born, his parents had to undergo the Roman census. David had been punished severely for numbering his people. Were the occupant Romans cruel oppressors and overbearing stooges of a tyrant regime? You may say so. Can you imagine Joseph and Maria joining a movement to resist the census? No.

In our church we were allowed to take off our masks because of a low Corona incidence. 2 weeks later the government reversed it and we are again forbidden to sing and must wear masks. Resisting this means resisting an order of a God ordained government.

Only when the government imposes measures that clearly violate God’s order, we have to rather obey God. That would be if they close churches and forbid fellowship altogether. This will probably come in the future, but not yet. Corona vaccination is not the mark of the beast ”“ not yet. I am vaccinated, too.
I believe Corona vaccination is just a sort of dress rehearsal for the mark of the beast. A compelling measure to ensure ease of buying and selling, security, protection and the common good.

Why are so many Christians so upset when their freedom is restricted? Bearing restrictions and oppression has always strengthened the church whereas much freedom has always weakened her. I recently met a young pastor who stated that his church has grown and was strengthened through Corona.

I think we should, as some have suggested on SI, focus much more on prayer and preparing the church for real persecution. We must build a network that can go underground and manage with little resources apart from prayer, the preaching of the word and the Holy Spirit.

History has been written long ago. It is HIS STORY! We live in very crucial days. Deception and seduction are increasing, But what about offences? The bible clearly warns us against taking offence:

Matthew 13:21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

Matthew 24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

Taking offense is a subtle temptation that will draw away carnal and superficial Christians away from Christ! The acid test of your walk with Christ is how you take offenses.

6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

I think this would include forcing everyone to get a vaccine, no?

I support anyone's decision to get the vaccine; I only hope people have the same respect for my decision to not get the vaccine.

A vaccine that has already taken the lives of at least 11,940 and permanently disabled over 12,000 should be considered by anyone who values the temple of the Holy Spirit as something that should not be injected into us. I personally know of two local cases where healthy people took the vaccine and one lady died within a week, and an elderly man (who was previously very healthy) died after 2 weeks.

One of the greatest needs in the church these days is discernment. If we are only hearing and believing what the major news outlets are feeding the world, we are being deceived. They are hiding facts and labeling many scientists and doctors as "conspiracy theorists" who are sounding the alarm about what is happening to those who take the vaccine.

Mary and Joseph went to Bethlehem for the census as they should have. If they had been near Corrie ten Boom's house during the holocaust, I would hope that they would have hidden from the gestapo. If we as men of righteousness do not open our mouths and speak against the evils that are being poured out upon our world in the name of "protecting everyone's health", we will be like the church that just kept singing louder as the trains carried Jews to the death camps.

I know many of us are scared, tired, anxious, stressed, and uncertain about our future. I believe that God is using this time to draw us closer to Him and to reveal the wicked underbelly of the global elite for all of us to see. Ultimately He is in control and that brings me tremendous peace. I pray it does for you as well.

There is a lot I could add, just a few comments for now.

But consider the following:
Hebrews 11v23 By faith Moses’ parents hid him for three months after his birth, because they saw that he was a beautiful child, and they were unafraid of the king’s edict.

We are living in very difficult times and we nee a LOT of discernment, wisdom, prayer, fellowship - and the full armor of God !

One of my co workers was shaking uncontrollably and had heart problems after he got his first shot.

Again, if people want to get the vaccine, that's your choice. I am not judging you. I still love you as a brother or sister in Christ.

I tend to avoid conspiracy theories these days. Our focus should absolutely be on Jesus at all times. But, we can't close our eyes to satanic agendas. When there is so much evidence that the governments of the world are shifting towards totalitarianism and using this pandemic to further their agenda, we should take notice of it and carefully consider whether it IS a conspiracy theory or not.

"God is in control”... and other similar statements alluding to the same are, more often than not, uttered from a position that is in retreat... as if somehow that "idea” is the end of the believers commission 🤷🏽”â™‚️

This is a strange and foreign thing to my understanding. The Bible seems quite clearly to say otherwise... wether where we find God in repentance or man in perpetual disobedience, to satan being the god of this world and his minions seeking to corrupt and pervert the way of righteousness established by the Lord... if the statement that "God is in control” were literally true- how could these and countless other biblical accounts have happened?? 🤷🏽”â™‚️ That poses an unavoidable contradiction does it not?

I was confronted early on in discipleship training by this type of disposition and it never aligned with what my Bible said ... 🤔 yet this type of doctrine is embraced by the majority of American Christians and this more than any other I have found, seems to be responsible for our inactivity (spiritually), which has led us to a place of spiritual weakness from this inactivity.

Wether in old or new testaments, this doesn’t seem to be the case according to what the scriptures actually say, yet many believe it to be true and all too often state as an immutable fact ...

It is my intention to submit to the body that this is in no way the Hebrew concept of God and is in every way a Greek (platonic/deist) concept that crept in unawares as is posited by the epistles of Peter, Paul etc... the damage from which has and will lead multitudes to destruction-

The concepts of Gods omnipresence, omnipotence, sovereign control, etc... are romantic and even comforting, they don’t really pan out when tested against the testimony of the scriptures themselves. At least not in the way that leads us (His body) to inactivity-

From this foreign entity has come all sorts of strange doctrines leading many astray from the true gospel of grace (divine influence) and into what is spiritual pridefulness... a form of spiritual elitism much like what Jesus openly rebuked in the 1st century as grievous to His Father -

Perhaps that is the greatest of all conspiracy theories.... for to believe it as it is stated, relieves the hearer from responsibility to act, whereby the gift of grace is mixed with the gift of faith and when acted upon produce fruit that glorifies God 😇

Please understand that I am not saying that God doesn’t "own” His creation nor does He lack the authority or ability to act on behalf of "His plan”,... however the scriptures clearly record and testify that God, Himself is pleading with man not to be willingly ignorant but to respond to His influences and not to respond to the worlds/satans influences-
for it is written;

This is why I don't post here much at all anymore, we can ALL find scripture to justify our our mission, just like I can here. Do I believe God Is really in control? Or did he just create all things, set them in motion, but out of his control? The Bible teaches that God’s sovereignty is an essential aspect of who he is, that he has supreme authority and absolute power over all things. And yes he is very much active, despite our perplexity. Scripture says, God works "all things according to the counsel of his will” (Ephesians 1:11).

One of the most powerful passages that reveals the sovereignty of God is Isaiah 46:9-11 "Remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done,
saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose, calling a bird of prey from the east, the man of my counsel from a far country. I have spoken, and I will bring it to pass; I have purposed, and I will do it".

Do I personally believe God is in control of all, YES!

Even assuming arguendo this statement is true (ie the people did not die or become disabled from unrelated causes) there have been approximately 4.2 billion vaccines given. 23,940 divided by 4.2 billion gives an almost unregisterable number on my calculator- but it is .00051%.

Yet 4.2 million have actually died from Covid.

I'm all for discussing news and current events. With today’s political climate as Christians, we should all be very careful not to get into any heavy debates/arguments, because this can cause confusion and strife, especially when "sometimes” there’s little "true” information we get now days from MSM, because they have all adapted a political agenda.

As for as vaccinations, I personally don’t answer that question or ask anyone that question, this is a very personal decision for all of us, and in my opinion, if you or I are asking someone, you’re wrong in doing so. Now to talking politics, I almost lost one of my brothers in Christ friendship during the Presidential election, by a political discussion, well that was the first and my last political discussion with anyone.

We can all disagree with our brothers and sisters, that’s ok, but when you want to push your opinions on me to the point of an argument, to where Satan is cheering you on, I don’t need that kind of cheerleader, or that kind of debate.

Bill I could care less what people do. I just think it’s a crying shame that many are needlessly dying (most of them unsaved) because they read things like "11,000 people died from the vaccine.” They don’t stop to think that even if that is true, which I strongly doubt, the chances are infinitesimally small that any one person will die from the vaccine. It’s like the chance of dying from taking an aspirin, yet no one thinks twice about that.

Last years "conspiracy theories" are this years reality.How can you stay clear of conspiracy theories?Christianity is a conspiracy theory to millions.
A few months ago I couldnt believe my ears when I heard and saw Christians believing niavely that the covid outbreak was natural rather than man made and that it had "nothing" to do with the outcome of the US election.
Now it turns out that what every Christian with an ounce of discernement knew all along ,it was made in a lab in China and the election was a complete fraud as we can see with the Audit in Arizona .
The Census in Joseph's and Mary's time is a type of the endtimes and even though they obeyed the census as we do now but they didnt hang around too long to see the consequences ,all two year olds and under were killed .
I personally know a woman who spent two weeks in the hospital because of the vaccine ,Her doctor told her she couldnt take the second dose on no account .She had stroke like symptoms and it was touch and go. TMK how do you know that the "11000 figure " isnt correct? where are you getting ur news from ?The media is a false prophet such as cnn or the CDC or the health ministries.How can we believe the devils mouthpiece just because they have control of the majority of the news?

Staff like I said even if it is correct the chances of dying are beyond exceedingly remote. The chance of dying from Covid is higher by many orders of magnitude.

Amen to that. True statement. Christians have found pleasure in conspiracy theories. So sad. At the same time, it does not surprise me because Jesus said In Matthew 24: 4 Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you. This crystal clear, fake conspiracy theories are the current day deception to many believers and they have put their faith in them. Faith is only placed in God and Gods word not any idea made up of man. But it must happen. The love of many will grow cold because of where they have put their faith.

I went town to town in each town/city in the world and counted the bodies personally. Then I reported that to the appropriate authorities.

The Bible itself is a collection of books containing the conspiracy of the ages played out in and through the lives of those recorded. The herald of Christ’s coming instantly drew upon Jesus a conspiracy whereby the enemy used those over whom he had influence in a series of conspiracies ultimately causing Judas to become complicit in a conspiracy to sell out his friend and mentor ...

Just like with Daniel and the changing of the law to criminalize his worship was also a conspiracy of the 3 other advisers.
Or like with Joseph, Moses, David, Esther, Jacob, Jeremiah, etc... the Bible is replete with one conspiracy after another so (for me) it’s an inevitable aspect of life in a fallen world. We have a common enemy that seeks to deceive and devour us...

Having said that, to think that there aren’t conspiracies currently playing out is like a conspiracy theory unto itself as the fallen world stands as a testament that the "church" is leveraged. Otherwise there wouldn’t be a loss of influence at a time when people are actively seeking the Lord during this period of unrest. Surely the enemy would utilize his influence to infiltrate and cause conspiracies within the body of believers, sowing divisions and strife anywhere he can, so how much more would he do this in the world where he is "god”....? It’s like his fingerprint on a situation as it’s his main strategy, he is the father of lies- just like in the garden....

In Canada about 15,000 people died of Covid in 2020. That's about 0.04 percent of the population of Canada dying from Covid.

From the years 2015-2019 something like 6,000 to 8,500 people die of influenza per year.

Globally 4.2 million have died from Covid. That's about 0.05 percent of the global population.

Just putting things in perspective.

Many, many more people have died from starvation, committed suicide, overdosed on drugs, been victims of domestic abuse, and lacked proper medical treatment because of the lockdowns. Do they matter?

We are all entitled to opinions, but the devastation caused by these injected experimental substances (that are not even safe enough for the FDA to approve) will soon be coming to a theater near you. With news medias that are in favor of the jabs, of course the numbers of COVID deaths will be inflated and the number of vaccine deaths will be hushed up. The numbers that I posted earlier are numbers reported to the CDC’s complicated VAERS system that only gets a small number of the adverse reactions reported. The actual numbers are MUCH higher. The website that I posted earlier pulls directly from the CDC's website.

Personally I had C19 with pneumonia and was coughing up blood and had to have oxygen for a long time while my lungs recovered. Personally I know of people who have died because of C-19. I also personally had two different close friends to tell me of friends and family members who were in perfect health but within a week or two of getting the vaccine they died.

People can downplay the after effects of these experimental substances they are calling vaccines all they want to just like your government and media people are urging everyone to, but I hope that the church will start praying for the gift of healing and the love and compassion of Christ to be able to minister to the many who are being hurt by the jabs when we personally have to deal with them.

When masses of people finally realize that the system of "scientists” and media and government has failed them and therefore they are losing all of their earthly dreams, it is my prayer that in the middle of the chaos there will be an awakening in the hearts of many to see their need to whole heartedly trust God alone. There really could be revival in the midst of these days if we pray. LORD, PLEASE DO IT AGAIN.

Conspiracy theories can be titillating and unfortunately Christians are not immune from the need to be titillated.

I’m not anti all conspiracies- eg Roswell, JFK. I could get behind the idea that China purposefully unleashed the virus.

But I think the virus is real and I believe it has truly killed a lot of people and I certainly don’t believe the vaccine is killing or injuring droves of people. Quite the contrary.

Yes I too know people who believe that there really isn’t a new virus and that this whole thing is make-believe... personally I doubt that but will not argue the point with them anymore than with those whom believe the official narrative of "this is the worst thing ever” hence any and all restrictions are sensible. The reason is, in both instances, their minds are made up and to engage that is only to stir up waves where there is no wind.

Regarding the numbers game of deaths/injuries between the virus/vaccine...
one thing that stands out to me that raises red flags is the metrics or better stated, the means of determination being grossly inconsistent between the two.
For example, if we applied the same metric that is currently employed to count viral damage/death to the vaccine, the numbers would skyrocket 💯

I agree that the Covid death numbers are inflated because folks that die from a heart attack who have Covid are counted as Covid deaths. No doubt about that. Granted.

But when it comes to the vaccine we know that people drop dead suddenly every day. Before we ever heard of a Covid vaccine a certain number of people statistically drop dead every day. So when someone gets a vaccine and drops dead a few days later it is tempting to jump to the conclusion that the vaccine killed them.

Actually, it’s a classic example of the logical fallacy of post hoc ergo propter hoc, i.e. "after this, therefore because of this”. This leads to a second fallacy namely that avoiding A will prevent B (if B is perceived as bad) or that doing A will result in B (if B is perceived as good).

The fallacy goes away with actual proof or evidence, not anecdotal reporting.

If in a court case one attempted to illustrate injury of a party but was unable to show said injury by an observably veritable increase other than what was otherwise experienced by the grieved party, there really isn’t much in the way of findings other than circumstantial evidence which has to be viewed at the expense of facts in order to conclude that the party was actually injured then any impartial justice would dismiss straightway-

Do you have a source for this? I have not heard this. You *seem* to be saying that as many people died from early 2020 to now as they did in the same time period two years ago. If true that is indeed startling but not sure how that can be true🤔

Here is an article from a professional medical website. Forget the article and go right to the comment section. The interesting thing about the comment section is that I believe in order to comment you have to be a healthcare professional. So you can take those names and google them and you will see that the people who are commenting are actually real doctors, nurses, researchers, etc.

The article is a little dated but look at the level of distrust about the government and medical journals in the comment section here. Remember these are not lay people but health care professionals. You can google their names to verify.

Covid can cause heart attack. I know of perfectly healthy people who had heart attack within few weeks of recovery from Covid. It is because the blood clot due to Covid will pass through the heart.

The same can also come from vaccines. Vaccines are supposed to trigger immune reaction. Everyone's immunity behaves differently to vaccines. People develop blood clots due to vaccines as well which can also cause heart attack.

Yes of course but I would ask that rather than me post a series of links, all of which will vary on the count due to their metrics, and attempt to explain the correlations accurately, you would be far better served by doing a simple search and familiarizing yourself with the different methods of data collection and value assessment. It’s not as simple as it seems to collect reliable data worldwide and that results in an observational variance in actual final counts.... which has to be an acceptable factor to utilize the data.
Another (obvious) factor is population growth which also contributes to an increase in deaths but at varying intervals, which is to say if your comparing charts across a span of decades where birth rates are contrasted with death rates you will expect to see small anomalies like the "baby boom” in America after the war followed by a slowing of the birth rate which is not reflected in the death rate until decades later where you’d expect to see a smallish spike relative to the birth rate of 60-80 years earlier. That "spike” is only visible when contrasted by the normative (collective data) curve upward.
Likewise if there is a spike currently due to a worldwide crisis of the ages requiring, never before on this scale, lockdowns and masking and social distancing and vaccines and passports and allegiance to their godless ideologies.... then surely the death rate would IMMEDIATELY reflect a clear and obvious justification for responding in this extreme of a measure in effort to contain it🤷🏽”â™‚️

What I have personally found is that it simply isn’t there... no matter how you slice it, it just isn’t there. Having said that, while I do like and tend to charting, in this instance I found the percentages to be the most effective means of calculating the effects of the aforementioned worldwide crisis of the ages against the backdrop of normative death rates over spans of decades.

Take aside Covid, vaccine, government measures and mandates, hijacked election, BLM, defund police and all that stuff.

My question is, how can Christ be glorified in our lifes during those Covid years? Every crisis gives an opportunity to grow and glorify Christ. Since many of us have now more time at hand, do we use it to seek Him more in prayer and worship?

The real kingdom of God is not affected by Corona and the political climate at all.

In our little fellowship brothers rose up against me because as a leader I asked them to comply with government orders. I thanked God that I could learn to bear reproach and learn to bless rather than counter-act. I just regret that I did not act more Christ-like than I did!

Many became more lonely and anxious during lockdown and look for deeper answers. Can we give them hope?
As Christians we know the truth that sets man free. But if all we can say is what the government should or should not do, are we not carnal?

Is our secret hope that the government will come to their senses and act as we expect Christians to behave?
How can they if the church at large does not preach truth?
