The object of this thread is simple. Simply share JUST a verse from scripture that the Lord has spoken to your heart recently. Do NOT give any explanation or commentary just the scripture. I think it will be interesting to see how the Lord is showing people scriptures anew all through the bible. And possibly the Lord could use the scriptures we post to speak to someone else. When we are reading the bible daily we need to hear the voice of God speaking to us through the scriptures... Are you hearing from God.

Prov. 8:1 Does not wisdom cry out,\tAnd understanding lift up her voice? 2 \tShe takes her stand on the top of the high hill,\tBeside the way, where the paths meet. 3 \tShe cries out by the gates, at the entry of the city,\tAt the entrance of the doors: 4 \t“To you, O men, I call,\tAnd my voice is to the sons of men. 5 \tO you simple ones, understand prudence,\tAnd you fools, be of an understanding heart. 6 \tListen, for I will speak of excellent things,\tAnd from the opening of my lips will come right things; 7 \tFor my mouth will speak truth;\tWickedness is an abomination to my lips. 8 \tAll the words of my mouth are with righteousness;\tNothing crooked or perverse is in them. 9 \tThey are all plain to him who understands,\tAnd right to those who find knowledge. 10 \tReceive my instruction, and not silver,\tAnd knowledge rather than choice gold; 11 \tFor wisdom is better than rubies,\tAnd all the things one may desire cannot be compared with her. 12 \t“I, wisdom, dwell with prudence,\tAnd find out knowledge and discretion. 13 \tThe fear of the LORD is to hate evil;\tPride and arrogance and the evil way\tAnd the perverse mouth I hate. 14 \tCounsel is mine, and sound wisdom;\tI am understanding, I have strength. 15 \tBy me kings reign,\tAnd rulers decree justice. 16 \tBy me princes rule, and nobles,\tAll the judges of the earth. 17 \tI love those who love me,\tAnd those who seek me diligently will find me. 18 \tRiches and honor are with me,\tEnduring riches and righteousness. 19 \tMy fruit is better than gold, yes, than fine gold,\tAnd my revenue than choice silver. 20 \tI traverse the way of righteousness,\tIn the midst of the paths of justice, 21 \tThat I may cause those who love me to inherit wealth,\tThat I may fill their treasuries. 22 \t“The LORD possessed me at the beginning of His way,\tBefore His works of old. 23 \tI have been established from everlasting,\tFrom the beginning, before there was ever an earth. 24 \tWhen there were no depths I was brought forth,\tWhen there were no fountains abounding with water. 25 \tBefore the mountains were settled,\tBefore the hills, I was brought forth; 26 \tWhile as yet He had not made the earth or the fields,\tOr the primal dust of the world. 27 \tWhen He prepared the heavens, I was there,\tWhen He drew a circle on the face of the deep, 28 \tWhen He established the clouds above,\tWhen He strengthened the fountains of the deep, 29 \tWhen He assigned to the sea its limit,\tSo that the waters would not transgress His command,\tWhen He marked out the foundations of the earth, 30 \tThen I was beside Him as a master craftsman;\tAnd I was daily His delight,\tRejoicing always before Him, 31 \tRejoicing in His inhabited world,\tAnd my delight was with the sons of men. 32 \t“Now therefore, listen to me, my children,\tFor blessed are those who keep my ways. 33 \tHear instruction and be wise,\tAnd do not disdain it.34 \tBlessed is the man who listens to me,\tWatching daily at my gates,\tWaiting at the posts of my doors. 35 \tFor whoever finds me finds life,\tAnd obtains favor from the LORD; 36 \tBut he who sins against me wrongs his own soul;\tAll those who hate me love death.” In ChristJeff

Rev. 12:1 Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. 2 Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth. Rev. 12:3 And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads. 4 His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born. 5 She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne. 6 Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days. Rev. 12:7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. 9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Rev. 12:10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.” Rev. 12:13 Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child. 14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent. 15 So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood. 16 But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. 17 And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.He came unto his own, and his own received him not.But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

AGAIN, the word of the Lord came to me, saying, Son of man SPEAK to the childrenOf your people, and say to them: When I bring the sword upon a land, and the people of the land take a man from their territory and make him their WATCHMAN,When he sees the sword coming upon the land, if he blows the trumpet and warns the people,Then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, if the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be on his own head.He heard the sound of the trumpet, but did not take WARNING; his blood shall be upon himself. But he who takes warning will save his LIFE.But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.So you, son of man: I have made YOU a watchman for the HOUSE of ISRAEL; therefore you shall hear a word from my/God’s mouth and warn them for God.When I say to the wicked, O wicked man, you shall surely die!? And you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand.Nevertheless if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul. Therefore you, O son of man, say to the house of Israel: Thus you say, If our transgressions and our sins lie upon us, we pine away in them, how can we then live?Say to them: As I live say’s the Lord of God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you Die, O House of Isreal? Therefore you, O son of man, say to the children of your people: the righteousness of the righteous man shall not deliver him/her in the day of his transgression; as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall because of it in the day that he turns from his wickedness; nor shall the righteous be able to live because of his/her righteousness in the day that he sins. When I say to the righteous that he shall surely live, but he trusts in own righteousness and commits iniquity, none of his righteous works shall be remembered; because of the iniquity that he has committed, she shall die. Again, when I say to the wicked, You shall surely die, if he turns from his sin and does what is lawful and right,If the wicked restores the pledge, gives back what he has stolen, and walks in the statutes of life without committing iniquity, he shall surely live; he shall not die.None of his sins which he has committed shall be remembered against him; he has done what is lawful and right; he shall surely live.Yet the children of your people say, the way of the Lord is not fair. But it is their way which is not fair!? When the righteous turns from his from his righteousness and commits iniquity, he shall die because of it.But when the wicked turns from his wickedness and does what is lawful and right, he shall live because of it.Yet you say, the way of the Lord is not fair, O house of Israel, (I) God will judge every one of you according to his own ways.Ezekiel 33

I enjoyed these verses this morning in my "morning revival time":2 Thes 2:13 ...God chose you from the beginning unto salvation in sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth.John 17:17 Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth. And I enjoyed this comentary""The Father's Word carries with it the Fathers' reality. When the Word says, "God is light," it conveys God as light. "In 2 Thessalonians 2:13 the Spirit is in pair with the truth. Salvation in sanctification is not only of the Spirit but also in the belief of the truth. Just as electricity needs a wire to convey it, so the Holy Spirit needs the Word as its wire...If you only have the Word in letters without the Spirit, that is empty. But if you want to have the Spirit without the Word, this cannot be done. The Spirit and the truth embodied in the word are a pair. The very salvation which is the goal of God's eternal selection is in two things: in the sanctification of the Spirit and also in the faith of the truth."I enjoyed the illustration of the electricity being conveyed through the "wire". It goes on to say:"We must realize, though, that we must know the knowlege first. While we are studying the Word prayerfully and laboring over it, the Spirit works with the Word. As we open to the Lord, the light will come in, and there will be a reaction,.. which will bring the divine scenery of the truth into our spirit. This reaction is faith.Graftedbranch
Do NOT give any explanation or commentary just the scripture.I did not see this when I posted my last post. Sorry. But, If God is speaking to us through a verse, Is it not important "what He is speaking to us and what Light we recive from it? "In a dream, a vision of the night, When sound sleep falls on men, While they slumber in their beds, Then He opens the ears of men, And seals the instruction, directed to them, That He may turn man aside from his conduct, And keep man from pride; To keep back his soul from the pit, And his life from passing over into Sheol.” Job 33:14-16
HOSEA 11:4 I drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love: and I was to them as they that take off the yoke on their jaws, and I laid meat unto them. The Word Cords here – is spoken of as, friendly, and not as beasts or slaves. The Lord draws us with Cords of Love. The problem is that we with our fallible minds, misinterpret the Love of God.When loving God with all of your Hearts, Minds, and Soul how could you not love yourself and others as such. The Love of God attracts the saved and the unsaved. It attracts the righteous and the sinner, both. ;-)

I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. Why?Galatians 1:15-16 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
