Dallas Celebrating Sodomy

Dallas Celebrating SodomySeptember 18th, 2005Thousands upon thousands of homosexuals come out to flaunt their sin and celebrate sodomy this past Sunday. It was devistating to see thousands of men with other men, women with other women, little children being with these people as well, as floats went throught he streets owned by churches, big bussinesses, and politicians! America is heading on a collision course with God. As a train on tracks America is heading for destruction, and unless we turn around and start running with God and not against God, this country will soon break while God proves Himself strong. This was my first time going to a sodomite parade. The team was made up of Christians from Teen Mania, The Great News Network, Christ for the Nations, and Operation Save America. We broke up into two groups, those who would stand and open-air and hold signs, and those who will go talk one2one. I stayed on a corner given to us by police to open-air preach and hold scripture signs. The police put us in a spot where there were a good amount of people, and where the parade ends, so every float got to see us.We planned on having sound equipment, but that fell through. But because the cops took my sound equipment away a year ago, I've had a year to strengthen my voice for such a time as this. I was able to preach just about as loud as I could for 3 hours. We preached repentance, we preached faith, we preached hell and judgment, we preached freedom in Jesus Christ. We called them to repent and save America before they destroy it. We called them to repent before they corrupt my generation and children more then they already have.MTV was out there to film it all. They came over and filmed our preaching and interviewed me. I told them that even MTV needs to repent of corrupting my generation. All those who make a lot of money on MTV, all those on MTV, and all those who watch MTV need to repent because they will give an account to God. I do pray that play that on TV. Another station called the Q-network or Q-TV also filmed our preaching and interviewed me. I told them that homosexuals live like animals and beasts, living by the dictations of their flesh. They don't practice any self-control. They live by feelings and not by morals. The difference between humans and animals is that an animal lives by his instinct, a human lives by his conscience. But homosexuals do not do that, and so they live like animals. But Christ came to set them free of their bondage, if they repent and believe.Once the parade was over, everyone gathered on the grass across from where we were preaching to have a gathering. The police kept us on our corner, and wouldn't let us preach anywhere else. But since they dispersed and the parade was over, I thought I'd end the day with a BANG and go and preach repentance to the crowd across the street. I walked over and started by saying "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand". An instant crowd of 30-40 homosexuals gathered around. Some asked questions, some mocked, some yelled, some got very angry. I lasted about 15 minutes before the police rushed over in an angry rage and forced me back across the street, threatening to arrest me.At the end of the day we had accomplished a lot, but much still needs to be done. The homosexuals that day were all saying "Jesus loves you". We have preached that long enough. We now need to preach "if you love God, you'll keep His commandments". Some homosexuals repented, but the majority are still lost souls. May God save them before they bring the wrath of God down on this country.

I guess I could check their website.. That is awesome! I pray well I know good seeds were planted.

Jesse, God bless you with boldness to speak out for the LORD Jesus. No doubt you feel very alone against such overwhelming wickedness.Remember the Bible teaches us we are to be obedient, results are God's responcibility, not yours nor anyone else's. This is comforting when we tend to get weary and wonder what is the use? Just be faithful, Jesse, and do not water the gospel down to make it more palatable for your audience. God will judge you for doing that.Keep on keeping on, Jesse. God bless you as you are obedient to Him!ginnyrose

Tremendous ministry report Brother Jesse, always an encouragement to hear the reports. Christ came to set us free from sin and death. I remember 6 years ago living in Toronto and hearing a pastor preach in his sermon how he was living the homosexual lifestyle, then met the LORD Jesus got convicted of sin and was set free from sodomy. "If you love God, you'll keep His commandments", may we all follow Him.

It's just unbelievable how many politicans, bussiness men, and even Churches are taken a stand for ungodliness, while the true blue Christians don't stand up for righteousness. This hardly seems right.May God use all of us to do what is right and to do what is our duty here in our generation, in our period of history.

hi jesse, this is great that you have the nerve to do such a thing.one thing that you wrote, however, caught my attention:"I told them that homosexuals live like animals and beasts, living by the dictations of their flesh. They don't practice any self-control. They live by feelings and not by morals. The difference between humans and animals is that an animal lives by his instinct, a human lives by his conscience. But homosexuals do not do that, and so they live like animals."from my own experience- a friend of mine is gay and i am sure that if i told him he lived like an animal..he would no longer ever want to be in my presence; and therefore the chance to share Christ with him would be gone. how much more of an "animal" is a homosexual than a guy who is possessed by pornography? surely, they do live by their feelings and morals and it is quite sad. however, we must realize that shouting and calling them animals will not make the situation any better. i honestly do not think that they will want to listen. doesn't this also fufill what they think Christians are already...that we are hateful and mad? at times it would be easier to get upset with their sins, but we must have patience and have the Lord direct what we need to say to them and how we are to deal with each individual.ccchhhrrriiisss posted a great testimony of what i am referring to in this thread: https://www.sermonindex.net/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=6442&forum=35#48153i do pray that one day homosexuals will have their eyes opened and that america will be brought to repentance. "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do." luke 23:34may our eyes and hearts stay fixed on Christ and His will alone.in Him,arielle

Dear Jesse,Arielle has said exactly what I was thinking. If you spend time with homosexuals, you find some of them are extremely cultured and are capable humans in many ways. While in their sin, they are no worse than any other unbeliever.I don't think it's helpful to brand them. God will do Himself to those whose hearts He knows have rejected Him forever. But, to the many who hate the way they feel and who long for deliverance, calling them names only compounds their isolation and does nothing to exalt the love of Christ towards them, which is to heal and save them. For those violated in childhood, the way back to sexual health can be long. Your message needs to give them hope in the power of God to make short work of their salvation. They can come to Him as homosexuals, as long as they expect to discontinue those ways immediately. Can I just add one last thought; there is a principle in nature, which is that there is always a tendency towards normal. Please bear that in mind. Once the spiritual bondage is broken, the natural tendancy to be normal is free to blossom. Homosexuality is a bondage. Yes, Jesus Christ broke every bondage on the cross. His blood cleanses from all sin. He is able to heal from all spiritual injury.1 Corinthians 6: 11And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. This is where we want them to come to.

The message in the open-air was that Christ came to set you free from your sin, if you humble yourself by admitting your sin, and then come to Him.It was only in the interview that I made the point between living by morals and living by feelings. Anyone who does not practice self-control and lives by feelings rather then morals ultimately is living like an animal, a beast, or a dog and that is not what God had intented for any of us.

Beloveds, I really appreciate both your posts, they amply demonstrate the Love and Grace of Jesus, who came to save ALL from ALL sin.No sin is greater than the other, all are equally repugnant in Jesus' eyes.Much love, neil

I thought hypocricy was the mother of all sin, far worse then others. That is why it says hypocrites will receive "greater condemnation" in Matthew 23:14. I agree that all sin is a crime against God, and in that sense all the same. But still not all sin is equal in it's ugliness. That is why there is "greater condemnation" because there are some sins "greater" then others. As Spurgeon said, homosexuality is the only sin that has brought hell out of heaven. But I greatly love homosexuals and want to see them saved and set free. But they must see just how ugly their sin is, how damnable it truly is in the sight of a holy, perfect God.

But the whole beast thing is not something I always say. I picked it up from Whitefield. I have read 30 of his sermons in the past 2 weeks, and in them he often says things like "your half devil, half beast, deserving of a thousand hells." It doesn't take long of reading or listening to a preacher before he rubs off on you.ps. He said "a thousand hells" because he said we deserve hell for every sin we've committed. So how many sins have you committed? That is how many hells you deserve.

The way I just read Mt 23:14 was that priests, pharisees, etc who make phony displays of piety to trick gullible women out of their inheritances would be subject to the "greater condemnation".It speaks of ecclesiastical sins, the priesthood misappropriating the trust that the flock feels for the minister of God.Nowhere in the Bible does the Word say that one sin of the flesh is worse than the other.I know that you do love homosexuals or any other lost sinner, but I must ask you this....having you filmed and quoted on some TV channel's B roll saying that homosexuals are no better than "animals"......how does this reflect the love of Jesus? It felt to me that's all the two sisters above were saying, and I don't know if you recieved that.Brother Jesse, if you want to preach the streets calling lost sinners "animals", go for it.

Jesse my dear brother, and I mean that dear from my whole heart......why not take the time to reread "The Life of Brainerd"........or I'm reading two OUTSTANDING annointed works of Dietrich Bonhoeffer's one, "Life Together...a discussion on Christian fellowship", and "The Cost of Discipleship"....Jess, Bonhoeffer is huge....I cant even begin to ...relate how much these two books are ministering to me, and how I .......how I.....Praise the Lord.......just let me say two things, if you get a chance read all three books (lol) and that I love you in Christ Jesus!!!GLORY.

I am going to go out on a limb here and call you to repent, brother Jesse ( finding this thread albeit late ).Your remarks about "beasts" direct in the face of homosexuals is exactly what makes it hard on the rest of us, when we attempt to witness to a homosexual ( as sister Arielle seemed to be alluding to ).A lot of what you do sounds heroic to our ears, I'm sure .... bold, courageous, etc ....but if " I have not love, I am nothing"I challenge you, brother ... TO DO NOTHING ... until you are convicted by the Love of God for "the beasts"I challenge you to study Acts 17 and ask if it shows any place where the apostle Paul told the homosexual Athenians " they were beasts." May God save them before they bring the wrath of God down on this country. This is your real motivation, I think .... for out of the heart the mouth speaks ( or the fingers type ).You are more interested in "this country" and it being saved from "God's wrath against homosexuals" - than you are about the homosexuals themselves. There are plenty of beasts in the Christian Conservative circles, making money as vultures and vampires, off of the poor of this world.I admire your heart, Bro J.But your flesh is in the way.You didn't accomplish much that weekend - for the Lord.in Christ,Bro Baruch

You’re telling Jesse to repent???!!! How about Jesus saying “you brood of vipers” I see that this is their exact situation and this is the truth about them! The love you mention has to be shown to a repentant homosexual not to the ones justifying their situation. If they don’t repent I repeat that they are beasts and if they come to my face I’ll tell them that they’re living like an animal and has to repent. If you see the past revivalists they have no respect for the way of life that grieves God! They’re not humanistic! They are siding God not humans! Sometimes George Whitefield would cry "O’ You monsters of sin cry for your sins if you don’t cry I will cry for you!” then he will lift up his eyes to heaven and cry and wail loudly after that kind of preaching many would come to Jesus trembling and repenting! Jesse really had the balance there-he preached Jesus and his love and most of them mocked! Then he clearly stated their situation! Quote“from my own experience- a friend of mine is gay and i am sure that if i told him he lived like an animal, he would no longer ever want to be in my presence; and therefore the chance to share Christ with him would be gone.”I think you have to look deep inside here. Are you afraid of offending your friend? If you offend him by telling him his real situation let it be so. This is love. Love is telling that a person is playing with a fire. Revealing his true character to him not lulling his feelings. I think we have to re-define love. For me, what Jesse did is Love. We have to be hard on sinfulness of ourselves and others. Your sis. Mek.

Dear Mek,You make a very clear case which I respect and you're right, it's important to reach homosexuals with the gospel. However, homosexuality is so prevalent in the west right now and being taught about in schools that those of us who have to live and work with them, need a better strategy than calling them animals when they don't repent immediately. We do need to respect and love them as any other persons who are being drawn by God to Himself and we have to present the face and the voice of God in their lives, until those who will come to Him, do.

Hi Jesse,I have read everyone’s comments and have had some! Agreement with everyone. But as I started at the 'newest thread’, I read Jesse's Posting last and now see why Jesse said, Quote: I told them that homosexuals live like animals and beastsI have two comments to this:1) I can see why you Jesse said this, after witnessing thousands in this parade, which included children! And believe that it was the Enormity of this Parade that brought those words to the surface.2)I also agree with some of what others have said, in that it would not be a good thing to always say those kind of words to smaller groups or to the singular person as this would not serve the purpose of Jesus love. However, when in such a mass parade, then those words would, perhaps be apt.Personally, in general, I would not use those kinds of words or think them. But then, I have not been present at a parade.I do see them as people! contrary to what anyone might think, that I think on this site.Keep preaching Jesse, we do not have enough open air preachers do we.And we need to remember that this was open air preaching and we who comment, I think! are all non open air preachers. ellie

It is interesting to note that the sins Jesus called people on the hardest were those who were simply blind to their own sin. Many of his parables were geared towards getting people to see the areas they were previously blind to. Homosexuality and the like are hardly sins people are blind to. Homosexuals know they are homosexuals. Granted, they might not admit they are sinful, but they know they are homosexuals. But those who violate the "weigthier matters of the law: justice, mercy, and faithfulness" tend not to see their breaches in morality at all. They fail to see that they commited an act of injustice. They fail to see they were unmerciful. They fail to see they were faithless. Such self-righteous people are blind to their own sins, and for it, deserve the greater condemnation. To those blind to their own sins, Jesus spoke very harshly. To those caught in the act of adultery, he showed mercy. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. As awful as homosexuality is, frankly, there are much worse sins out there. It has become an easy sin to attack for Christians simply because there are so few out there that are, especially within our congregations. Dear God, imagine if we preached against second marriages and divorce, or not being a clock watching toad who sucks his company dry, or being lazy on the job (issues of faithfulness). Imagine if we preached against parents who are too strict on their children of preachers who show no charity to the poor, or slammed homosexuals (issues of mercy). Imagine if we preached against showing favoritism to your children, or those of your particular social standing, segregated congregations (issues of justice). These are the weightier matters of the law, and the greatest sins. Yet your average preacher, including street preachers, will never dare mention these things... lest they indicte themselves.

As Spurgeon said, homosexuality is the only sin that has brought hell out of heaven.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------I never heard this before. What does it mean?Spurgeon was referring to God destroying Sodom and Gommorrah by raining down fire and brimestone. Hell came out of Heaven. When I compared homosexuals to animals I was simply using a parable. I wanted to show how truly degrading, devilish, and damning such wicked acts are.The more I study, the more I see preaching like this.John Baptist said, "You brood of vipers".Jesus said, "it's not right to give the childrens food to the dogs".George Whitefield said, "You half devil, half beast, deserving of a thousand hells."Paris Reidhead said, "They are monsters of iniquity...they deserve hell."Now we should never speak like this flippantly or casually, but homosexuals must see that their lifestyle is not "gay". They must see that it's devilish; it's beastish. They have their pride parades, and pride goes before destruction. They need to humble themselves and see as the prodigal did, that they are hungering after the pigs slop sort of speak. They must see it for what it really is, and calling it "gay" isn't going to do that. Some say, "I don't think you should call it beastish." Well, I don't think you should call it gay. It's not about "picking" on homosexuals or "bashing" homosexuals, rather it's about speaking THE TRUTH in LOVE. I am not trying to make friends with homosexuals, or to be accepted by them, or to get along with them. I am trying to see homosexuals repent and obey the gospel. I'm trying to speak THE TRUTH in LOVE, as well as speak about LOVE in TRUTH.But I will say this, if we have never bitterly wept over a mans sin and his soul, then we have no right to talk to him about his sin or his soul.

S

Jesse saidBut I will say this, if we have never bitterly wept over a mans sin and his soul, then we have no right to talk to him about his sin or his soul.I guess no-one can do that honestly, unless they have wept bitterly over their own sin. Isn't this the beginning of personal revival?I don't believe one needs to 'feel' repentant to repent, but there is a place of weeping in the Holy Ghost, within which the decision to turn from sin forever can be made, which is an outworking of the goodness of God to us. (Rom 2:4) It is possible to make the decision without tears, also.

John Baptist said, "You brood of vipers".Jesus said, "it's not right to give the childrens food to the dogs".George Whitefield said, "You half devil, half beast, deserving of a thousand hells."Paris Reidhead said, "They are monsters of iniquity...they deserve hell."I want to add to the list of quotes from preachers this one of Jesus:"Go, tell that fox" Luke 13:32

S

There is a wise way of doing things, I for one would not have burst out with "the kingdom of God is at hand", when the Kingdom of God has already come in us. But in all honesty, I am quite sure that Christ would have walked right past the parade and carried on His work. Mary would be following, but Martha would be out trying to get people saved or trying to get people to see her way of doing things. I am appalled to see believers being so crazy in their so called faith and attributing that to being zealous for the LORD. We turn the world upside down only because of the name of Jesus and the message that is invested in that name.I am saying all this, not to condemn your actions, but rather consider this. What state is the church in your city, town or village? Would you say like all of us, that it is not like it should be, or its in poor condition. If that is your answer, then why try to recruit others into something that is sick. Why not turn our attention to the body and build one another up in our most holy faith and strenghten that which remains and then add more to the structure. I know most of you will disagree with this, but the world needs to see the church of Jesus Christ love one another, "that the world may know that you have love one toward another". The world is looking for answers, and they have turned to the church, and they have walked away laughing, because we have been found naked, we have nothing to offer them, we are powerless. They will confess, "you are no different then us, you are like us".And we want to invite more people into this type of an atmosphere? If God is leading you to speak salvation to some dear soul, do it. But if you are doing it because you think you have to, I feel sorry for you and the people that you are trying to win over. I have seen both motives and one who hears from God has greater results then the one who thinks he is doing God a favour. WarmlyKarl
