I got the first but not the second of the Herald, thank you so much for all this materiel Greg. I've started printing off the Old Paths and will be giving them to fellow christians soon,God blessmattedit: The Herald is in my Bulk mailbox (issue 2) which means Yahoo thinks it's spam but the other (issue 1) went straight to my inbox. maybe this will help for people who has spam protection on their mailboxes.

Hi Greg...I did not receive this newsletter, although I typically receive the others. By the way, I love to read them! They are water in the desert. :-)

I didn't get either. If you change email host let me know. I use the same site you use, and if not all the emails go through, then that's a problem.

Hi Greg...Just a follow up, but I finally received the Newsletter. I'm not certain, but I think that it made it through my ISP (here at the University) after several attempts. Tomorrow, I will check my Espion Interceptor folder (used by the University's CIS department) and check whether or not it was intercepted as spam or junk mail. This has happened periodically with e-newsletters from other ministries (usually sent out in mass) -- and it unfortunately seems to have become the "norm" with services like Yahoo and Hotmail. This has happened with some of the student organizations that I am involved with here on campus. When I send out a ministry e-Newsletter to over 250 addresses, they sometimes end up in the BULK folder of certain email services. Is it possible that this happened? Anyway, thanks for the newsletter! :-) By the way, I really liked the quote from John Bunyan: "Prayer will make a man cease from sin, or sin will entice a man to cease from prayer."

Yes perhaps people can check their bulk mail folders but I think in this case alot of the emails simply didn't go through. I am waiting to hear back from my email host.

hmm this is a problem I need to find a good email solution but all the ones I am looking at are very expensive to send out 14,000 emails once month, if anyone has a recommendation let me know.

P
PreachParsly

What type of services do you need? How big of a mailbox and things of that nature?

E
Eli_Barnabas

Brother,I receive two copies of the same issue! That isn't necessary... maybe I signed up twice by accident, but in any case, please only send me one from now on.Thanks,-Eli

Brother Eli,I sent the newsletter just once I wonder why that happened. I am trying to talk to my email host. It is not just an convential email address host but an online setup that allows emails to be sent to many recipients. the sermonindex@mac.com address is just attached to the email but really the emails are being sent by the press-manager.com.If anyone knows of any good solutions let me know. Right now I am paying $9.99 for 20,000 emails. www.injesus.org has a service that is for $20 for 20,000 emails which is still a great deal. But I am not sure about their service how good it is, and its branded alot with their logo, etc.If anyone has any recommendations please let me know, I do feel that its going to cost more where I go. the 9.99 was too good to be true.

P
PreachParsly

Hmm... Well.. I get Prophecy News Watch (prophecynewswatch.com) and they use injesus.org. I have never had a problem receiving their e-mails. They send out usually 2 e-mails a week. I don't know for sure how big their list is but I assume its decent size. EDIT: maybe you can contact Prophecy News Watch to see if they ever have problems.

S
sermonindex

Could you forward me one of their emails brother. (sermonindex@mac.com) thanks. does injesus.org have a header and footer that shows their organisation in the emails?

P
PreachParsly

I sent it. It does have injesus headers and footers, but they are not that noticable.

S
sermonindex

Jesse,I would cancel your account at www.press-manager.com they definetly don't have their act together at all.

P
PreachParsly

I just noticed on InJesus.org you pay for your first bundle of e-mails and then only pay as you need more, instead of monthly. That's not bad.

S
sermonindex

Josh,Yes, I noticed that and also people can contribute and buy emails for the ministry so if God puts it on someone's heart they can purchase 20,000-50,000 emails for the ministry so its credited to the account. I am praying about this and will probably go ahead with this service it seems reputable!

I was worried something was wrong with your site because I couldn't get on not too long ago. Good to see it's still up. And in reply to your question, I didn't get the November newsletter either.

S

I have switched over the hosting to injesus.com and hopefully this will work well. The archives can be visited here: http://si.injesus.comI have sent out the November Newsletter edition again. I hope this works well for everyone. If anyone wants to help in the sending out of the emails they can buy postage for SermonIndex on the Injesus.com page and by clicking on this logo:
