I recommend this sermon by Robert Wurtz II. He speaks on isreals experience in egypt and lot staying near sodom as a parallel in the Christian life. Oh may we not be of those who pitch our tents towards sodom.A Little bit of Egypthttps://www.sermonindex.net/modules/mydownloads/visit.php?lid=10016
I wish to credit Ron Bailey (Philologos) for the devotional Abraham My Friend (17) and 46 which the Lord has greatly used in my life. For those who have not read through those devotions, they are a tremendous resource. Based upon my research servants and children did not wear clothes in Egypt. Leonard Ravinhill alludes to this in a sermon on Lot also which I recommend.
This is a great message, Oh may our tents be pointed towards the temple (Gods presence and glory). I hope this message touches many lifes.
This is a very good message, highly recommended, especially if you have children. After listening to this I was reminded of the following lines from a wonderful old hymn, Come Thou Fount;Prone To Wonder Lord, I feel it Prone to leave the God I love Here's my heart, Lord Take and seal it Seal it for Thy courts aboveIn Christ,Ron
