Lord take my heart it is for You

Lord take my heart it is for You To live and move as You would do. I cease to hide; no more to roam. Come claim my being for Your home.

So many things remain therein, Self blocks You out much more than sin Lord have Your way, Thy washing through That every part You would renew.

My need is for Your living word, Becoming real and not just heard Lord work Yourself into each part Mine will and feeling of my heart.

I want Your word to dwell in me In songs and hymns sweet melody. My spirit filled to overflow, Thy Word as Spirit I would know.

Thy flowing in my being Lord As Spirit and the living Word, All natural things You will replace, And old creation thus erase.

My heart is full of praise to You You're sanctifying making new. Thy holy Word now makes me clean Your new creation will be seen.
