We were in the wilderness

We were in the wilderness For quite a long, long time; For us to enter Canaan, Now is the proper time. Behold, what a glory, Be bold and in spirit! We're the new generation, The riches to inherit! Quick! For the Lord's recov'ry, We must not be left behind.

We have the ark of the Lord, Going before us then, It's leading our new pathway, Which we've never trodden. Behold, Jordan River, Standing as a high wall; We the new generation, Must cut off the worldly flow! Walk, walk, walk! We are marching Together for th' way before!

Praise the Lord, Hallelujah! To Gilgal we now come; Old nature and flesh buried, Circumcised and unarmed. The produce of Canaan, Manna no longer rare; We're not like them in the past, God's miracle is the fare. Eat, eat, eat! For the fighting, Let us eat Canaan's produce!

We are standing with the Lord, His presence we obtain; We follow His instructions, For He is our Captain. Even if tightly closed, City of Jericho Shall certainly crumble down, By our loud shouting's echo. Go, go, go! We will all go, And possess every city.

The whole earth is for the church, For this we are aiming! Lord, we offer all to Thee, To hasten Thy coming. If Thou'rt not satisfied, Neither are we able; Crazy for the whole Island, We'll be crazy and stable, Until what God had promised, Are all fulfilled upon us.
