Annie Poonen teaches that despite our fragile human nature, God places a priceless treasure within us—the glory of Christ—and through His power, we are transformed to reflect His eternal image.
This sermon emphasizes the concept of finding a valuable treasure within, likened to a geode rock with hidden beauty inside. It encourages holding on to Jesus in uncertain times, highlighting the importance of faith, renewal, and focusing on eternal glory. The speaker draws parallels to the Apostle Paul's endurance in suffering, urging listeners to seek the power of the Holy Spirit for inner renewal and to fix their eyes on unseen eternal things.

Praise the Lord for all that he's doing for us. A couple of years back, maybe two or three years back, a brother over here gave us a rock. He said it's not an ordinary rock, it's a very special rock.
So we took it to Colorado and he said if you break that rock you'll find something special inside. So what's in a rock? So we just took that rock in our bags and then we went there and got the children around and we broke that rock. And first I thought there'll be some just some pieces of rock inside or maybe some liquid inside but the rock was like like this, the size of a potato, a medium-sized potato.
Okay, it was like this, little specks like dirty spots on it but brownish in color. So we took a hammer and my son tapped on it and tapped on it and broke it. He didn't smash it to pieces, he just tapped on it and guess what was inside? It looked like this.
Looked like a cut coconut but not exactly like that. It looked, it was dry and the pieces inside were shining almost like pieces of diamond. They said it's called a geode, like geography.
G-E-O-D-E. I think Megan still has a piece of that or the inside of it. And the little children, especially the girls, they collected those pieces, tiny pieces which are broken.
They were like shining pieces of glass or diamond. I thought you could put each of those particles in and make a beautiful ring. And they collected it and later whenever I go there, they show me that treasure, little treasure box with these pieces, these glittering pieces.
And they said that this geode comes in many colors. Some look like this, like a pomegranate color or like rubies. Some are purple, blue, all different colors.
And if you look in the internet for, you want to find out more about geode, they say that it's formed under great pressure. You find it in all over the world but especially in desert areas, volcanic areas and sometimes in river beds where there was deep, I mean strong pressure, heat, temperature and things pressing on it or things like that make this formation, this rock formation. And outwardly it looks like any other rock.
When you look at it, you might even miss. But the people who know about it, know that these are special rocks. And that geode, that those rocks, especially because we handled it and my grandchildren and all of us were there, that often comes to my mind when I read certain portions of scripture.
And I thought I'll mention that to you in the beginning. Now keep that in mind as I go along and now and then I'll refer to it and we can learn something from that. If you turn to, keep your Bibles open, if you have a Bible, to 2nd Corinthians chapter 4. And it's a very difficult passage but I keep reading it again and again.
2nd Corinthians chapter 4. When you have time, you can, I won't read the whole thing, but when you have time, go through the chapter and read the verses carefully. And also if you have some help, maybe you can use my husband's book through the Bible or he has spoken some messages on that chapter and it'll refresh you. And during these times it's been a real blessing for me when I meditate on that chapter.
You know when we meet each other nowadays or we talk to each other, I often hear this American expression, how are you doing? Are you hanging on there? And like that's a new word for me, but for me it is like, are you clinging on to Jesus? Are you holding fast to Jesus in these days? That's how I take it. And I say Lord, in these days, days of uncertainty and days when things are going haywire, I never know what tomorrow will be like, what the news will be like tomorrow, but I'm hanging, I'm holding on to you and you, I know that you are holding on to me and I have that confidence that I'm safe when I'm in your hands. I hope these days have been special days for all of us.
I know that a lot of families, there's been special bonding between parents and children and mothers-in-law and daughters-in-law, relatives and friends, brothers and sisters in the church, been a close bonding, though it's been difficult. And also it's been a time when we have learned to adjust to different changes, like when we think of doing some cooking as in the kitchen we think, do I really need to make it so extravagant? Can I simplify a little bit but yet have the same taste? I don't really need these things, need to go extra or spend so much money because I don't know how the coming days will be. So we learn to adjust to a certain present situation, financial adjustments.
And another thing I think of is before when we had a small ailment, we think, okay, let me go and see the doctor or let me run and get the medicine, which I think I might need. But now we say, yeah, let's wait a little bit. Maybe we'll pray a little bit and see, maybe it'll stop by itself and very often it just disappears.
The Lord takes care of it. So there's been unusual days but at the same time days of blessing for all of us, very simplified things. And we also see the contentment in our children.
I think most of us have had small children, can see how the children are so willing to come down, not have so many expectations. They don't say like, let's go out and eat or let's go here. They're just quite happy to play in the backyard or indoors and eat what's given and be happy.
I really praise and thank God that's God's hand in us, with us. And one thing which we can always remember is nothing can happen to us without God's knowledge. You know, just this morning we heard in some parts of India there's a lot of dry weather, dry weather.
But in one part of India on the East Coast there was a hurricane, we call it cyclone, that hit. It was a strong rushing wind which tore down trees and damaged two or three parts of states in India. So weird things are happening, but at the same time we realize that God is in control.
In Amos there's a verse, is there a calamity in a city that the Lord does not know about it? That was often comes to me. Anything that happens in any city, the Lord knows about it. It's not that he doesn't know and he's in control.
He knows when to stop and he knows how to take care of us. And in during these days, you know, we think that oh these are days when we have to have this locked in or locked out situation. And I often think like we thought it will be one month or two months.
Now we don't know whether how it'll be next month or whether it'll go on till, they say it might go on till the end of the year. Some people say, oh yeah, it may take even longer for things to come back to normal. But we don't want to hear those words.
We just shut our ears to those things and we say Lord, you're in control of everything. And these days my thoughts have been turning to the Apostle Paul. When I think of his life, how he was put in prison for preaching the gospel.
Every place where he went there'd be a riot or people would get stirred up, especially his own countrymen who had the same faith. But when they found out that he believed in Jesus, they turned against him. And they stirred up others and finally he be put in prison.
Do you think what must have gone on through his mind when he was in prison? If we were in prison or if my husband was put in prison, that almost happened one time. I would have thought, oh how will I ever get out of this prison? Can I contact this lawyer or get all my friends to put a signature in and try and get me out? Do various earthly things. But when I think what was going on in Paul's mind, he must have realized, I don't care how long this prison days are going to take.
God allowed me and I'm doing it. It is happening for Christ's sake. I'm in bonds because of Christ.
He knows when he can take me out and he's in control. But I don't want to waste a single moment. So he started writing.
And how was it for him in the prison? Maybe he was in chains, two hands tied together with chain. Or maybe he was tied to another Roman soldier with a chain and he had one free hand to write. But he started writing and writing.
And he made use of every moment to write. And what did he write? He didn't write, oh the conditions here are so terrible. It's so cold and the food is terrible.
Nothing of that. All his letters are full of encouragement. Encouragement for us.
Be strong in the Lord. Hold fast to the faith. Rejoice.
Again I say rejoice. Count it all joy when you suffer. My God shall supply all your need.
He doesn't say God supply my need. But my God will supply all your need according to his riches in glory. And I think oh what a tremendous work God did in Paul's heart for him to write such powerful words which have come through the centuries for all of us.
For so many Christians in all circumstances and right now to us also. What we are facing is so is nothing compared to what he faced. And his words are encouraging us and holding us up.
Praise God we have examples like the Apostle Paul. And we can say Lord I'm not worthy to be in the counted as part of that company who went through so much of suffering. And let me not think of my days as any suffering at all.
So talking about Paul I want you to open to keep your page or Bible open to 2nd Corinthians 4 as I was telling you about. And here we read some very lovely words. Here we read about a treasure in an earthen vessel.
That's why I thought of this this geode. You know an earthen vessel we all deal with in old in olden days in our kitchens there were a lot of earthen vessels. We used to cook in earthen vessels.
I had some earthen jars which I collected and I used to keep some important things maybe some prescriptions or some medicines which I need to or maybe some loose currency. Many different jars I had many things like that. And here we read of earthen vessel which has a treasure.
And you know what that earthen vessel signifies. It's a human body the mortal part of our body the natural part of our body. That is the earthen vessel.
Just like that rock our earthen vessel we are in look like any other earthen vessel outwardly. These rocks these geodes if you find them lying around they look like ordinary rocks. But what's so special about that earthen vessel or that that rock? There's something very valuable inside that jar.
There's something where even though we look like other people in the world there's something really valuable inside us and that's not of ourselves. Not that we have something special in us to make us so valuable. That our blood is very special or our race is very special or our education is very special.
It's nothing to do with us. As we read later it is the power of God. And what is that treasure we which we have inside? It is the glory of God in the image of Christ in the image of Jesus.
If you go through that chapter 2nd Corinthians 4 many places it says the glory of God will shine and the image of Christ. You see that in many places and the surpassing greatness of God not of ourselves but it's from God that we have that treasure within us. So I want to talk a little bit about that treasure.
We when we first of all when you think of this earthen vessel that we are. We know how earthen vessels are so fragile that's how we are. You have to handle with care these earthen vessels.
If anybody says something little strongly we get a little hurt. If anybody says in a different tone it affects us. Why does she say like that to me? If anybody doesn't do something in time then there's a fluster within us.
And so many things we can name it. That irritability that is all the part of that human nature which we have. But we don't have to remain like that.
Look what Paul says about his earthen vessel. If you read from verse 7 8 onwards. That's Paul talking about his earthen vessel.
How he was and how we can be. He says we are afflicted in every way. You know that Paul need not describe but we know we are afflicted in every way but not crushed.
We are perplexed but not despairing. We are persecuted but not forsaken. We are struck down but not destroyed.
Always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. That treasure is the life of Jesus which started with God put into us when we accepted him as our Lord and Savior. That's the treasure.
And because of the treasure we can face so many trials like Paul faced. We haven't faced anything compared to him. Beaten and slapped and spat upon and almost dead.
They thought he's dead. They left him like that. And yet he was triumphant and that's an example to us.
In these days what we are facing is so trivial. It's just a virus going around okay hitting some people. Whatever happens God is in control.
You know that hammer which hit that geode rock. God is in control of that hammer which is hitting us to break that outer shell of our humanness and bring out the treasure. God is in control.
He knows how hard to tap it. He's not going to hit so hard that we get smashed to pieces. He's not going to do that.
He knows how the temperature and the pressure which is needed so that that outer shell gets broken little bit at a time. Not so much if you hit so hard will be completely shattered. But he hits knock little bit at a time and that beautiful treasure is seen inside the image of Jesus.
You know what a wonderful hope and challenge that is for us who were once so impatient and so touchy and so irritable. What a wonderful hope we have that we can have the fruit of the spirit coming out of us. However much that tapping and that breaking might be.
Instead of an impatient person patience comes out of us. Instead of grumbling and complaining Thanksgiving comes out of us. Instead of irritability, joy.
You know the fruit of the spirit, joy, love. When people do harm to us it's not that we just forgive them. Forgiving is the first step.
Yes I forgive him for what he said. But deep down it's not so good inside. But God does such a work inside us that not only we forgive but where that hatred was there's love.
Love coming out of that. That from our heart. Love, joy, peace, long suffering, patience, gentleness.
You know we who are so harsh on people gentle words come out of it. Thank God for instances like this. These things which are happening where we can spend some time with the Lord and say Lord your servant is listening.
Speak to me. Change me. Do a work in my heart.
Do a transforming work so that that treasure which you put inside will become more and more. Will be for your glory Lord. Not that people will look at us and say oh what a beautiful person.
What a good nature she has. No. What a work God has done in the sinner.
What a wonderful work God has done and produced his nature. When we see if when we knew if we knew the person who was if people knew me who I was before and they see me now they can see this is not that same person. It is Jesus living in that person and so all the glory goes to God.
That's what I want to challenge even though we have we are weak vessels so weak but the treasure inside is so valuable and then here it says about the power of God. He says the power will be of God and not from ourselves. Yes there's a mighty power that works within to make this transformation and that is we know what that power is and who that power is.
That is the power of the Holy Spirit. Now in India it is hot season. You know it's call it summer but in India we call it the hot season and the month of May is one of the hottest months in the whole year.
If you can just picture maybe you've seen in the television now pictures of how it is in some countries some parts of India. It gets so hot that the rivers are all dried up where there was a flooded river overflowing its bank in the rainy season in the hot season it just becomes a thin line of water and after that even that line disappears and the women who come from the village to collect the water from the river they dig into that sand and get some muddy water and they scoop out that water into the pots and take it and let it settle down and use that for their daily use. That's how it is.
I think of our condition like that the hot season where everything is dry the fields are dry thus the fields are so dry there are big cracks and if you walk on them your feet will get cut such cracks the trees all leaves are withered no grass at all that's our condition without the power of the Holy Spirit and then the rain comes oh what a difference when that rain comes if you've been in India during that end of the hot season you'll see that difference in that when their first rain thunder and lightning nobody's scared or bothered about the thunder and lightning it's the rain the water is coming at last and people put out their buckets and their vessels to collect that fresh water and bring it in so valuable because we know how valuable that is and that's how that power the baptism of the Holy Spirit means to us especially I know the days when I was so defeated in my spiritual life hit rock-bottom dryness and then God in his mercy poured his Holy Spirit into my heart and out of it was a well of thanksgiving Lord it's not me anymore you are so gracious to give me this to me this gift of the Holy Spirit and this freshness you know and after that Jesus said if you drink of this water you'll never thirst again I used to think in my back of my mind earlier I used to think it's some kind of special drink you drink a half a cup of that water like you read in fairy tales you drink half a cup of that water and you'll never thirst again no it's not like that it's like to me now it it seems like it's such a lovely refreshing drink this fresh water of the Holy Spirit that I drink it and I drink it and I want to drink more and more that I'll never thirst again and every day I want to drink of that that freshness of the Holy Spirit the life the times when my life was dry like that dry grass everything is green now everything is fresh even on the leaves there are droplets of water the smell of freshness is everywhere that should be that's our condition when the Holy Spirit comes into our hearts that is the mighty power which works in us and makes this treasure so valuable it's not anything that we have done we think that we have to work hard we have to die and we have to do this we have to suffer and we have to if you feel like drinking something which I know I'm not going to drink because I want to suffer it's not like that type of suffer suffering which in heathen countries people do they lie on bed of nails or they roll on the temp in the temple floor where people spit and they throw their leftover food they say that if I roll on that ground then I'll get some blessing it's nothing to do with our works at all you know those of us who come from countries like India we know how people go and dip themselves in any kind of water temple water they try to do some beat themselves they roll on the dirty temple floor and they they undergo so much hardship the hardship they walk all the way up those steps or barefoot carrying a heavy load and they think that's the way to get that heavenly rich which is but thank God it's not at all that God has opened our eyes to read in this second Corinthians 4 God was opened the eyes first earlier verses it says eyes which are veiled but now he has opened eyes to this gospel the God of this world was blinded the minds of unbelieving but now that's in verse 3 but now the light of the glory of glorious gospel has been opened to God has opened our eyes to see this wonderful gospel and we should not take it in vain we should not think ah it came freely for me so I'm going to just relax and now I'm just waiting for the Lord to come and take me home no when God has done such a wonderful work we owe him such a debt Lord what can I do in return for this gift you've given me this gift this treasure more than diamonds and rubies and anything on this world what can I do to repay that I gladly do what you do what you tell me to do you ask me to deny myself or go without this or stop speaking like this or whatever you do you tell me to do Lord I'm ready to do it because whatever I do will never be enough to repay what you have done for me to repay the price of that precious blood you shed for me that should be our attitude and that's my attitude thank God for these days when we have time to sit down and meditate on the love of Christ and the things that Christ has done for us and our hearts are ready to listen to God because of these things which are happening in this world uncertain days hardship these little bit of hardship but God thank God he's doing a work in our heart which makes us cry out to him and say Lord I'm here please speak to me the time is short very soon all these restrictions will be over and I'll be running off to work and we my children will be going off to school and I'll be again back to my own life but before that Lord do a work in my heart a lasting work that I look back to these days these few months when I was so close to you you know in our college days we used to have a thing called college retreat like we have one or two days when we just listen to messages and pray and break up into small small groups and pray together this is like a God has given us to spend time with our sisters in the church spend time with our families with our children bond with them do things with them and tell them about eternity these things are going to Jesus said these things will happen but they're not going to happen forever beyond this there's eternity where we are going to be with Jesus and we can encourage and prepare our children prepare each other for these days so and right now we can also we can think of the spirit of faith that we can have it's not like oh I just kept I keep on doing that but this faith God produces a faith in our heart that God is going to do something you know and going going to change us and make us more and more like Jesus and then then I want to come to the later part of this verse this chapter I said about verse 13 if you say that the spirit of faith I believe therefore I spoke we also believe therefore we also speak knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and will present us with you then we come to verse 16 in chapter 4 therefore we don't lose heart therefore we don't lose heart because of all this because of this mighty power because of this treasure because of this the Holy Spirit poured into us because of all these things because our eyes have been opened to see these wonderful things and to understand these things and because of these things which are happening on the world today we don't lose heart don't lose heart dear sisters don't lose heart because we'll hold on to the Lord and he won't let go of us he won't let go of us and let us sink in a spiritual life or family to go down or suffer starvation even if there are job difficulties some of us facing job difficulties maybe some husbands uncertainty in job but doesn't God has a way to take us out of it maybe he has a better job for our husbands something better is ahead of us so we don't lose heart then I want to bring these wonderful verses which often speaks to me though our outer man is decaying yet our inner man is being renewed day by day yes this outer man this outer shell that I showed you about that outer shell which is our human body it's decaying because Jesus God said you're made of dust and to the dust you return that's going to decay but the inner man that valuable part of us is not going to be decay but instead you're going to be renewed day by day praise God inner man is going to be renewed we must have faith to see that Lord let this let me feel weak or sick or tired or whatever sickness I have allergies headaches whatever it is that's a sign that our outer man is is decaying but Lord I commit my inner man to you I want that to be renewed day by day and then see the wonderful verse in verse 17 he says this momentary light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison what is the affliction that we go through he says it's momentary one month two months a year two years maybe but the Word of God says it's momentary it's just momentary compared to eternity compared to in eternity eternity for momentary affliction is so light we think that these things which are going through that momentary is so light in the in God's balance it's so light it goes up but the weight of glory is so heavy so heavy so heavy it goes down this goes up but the other one goes down and down and down that's the weight of glory what's the glory not that we are anything but the glory of Jesus that and it says here far beyond all comparison and I said Lord is beyond all comparison that's the glory that's my hope thank you that these days I can think of that and then here we read verse 18 wonderful verse we look not at the things which are seen but at the things which are not seen the things which are seen it goes further to say the things which are seen are temporal but the things which are not seen are eternal what we see now all these viruses all these sicknesses they are all temporal but the things which we don't see are eternal praise God God can open eyes a little bit to see there is something eternal no doubt one day I'm going to see it and I'm going to experience and I'm not going to lose heart I'm not going to lose my faith because my faith isn't that eternal oh and so the inner man is being renewed day by day and the affliction that we face is so light now I have some examples which come to my mind one is you know many times that my husband has said about the rubber band if you have listened to his messages he often refers to my life being like us fixed to two points where we are fixed should be in the heavenly places Paul says set your mind on heavenly things so that's where we are fixed and then the rubber band goes down to earthy things for a little while when we take care of earthly things our cooking our work our jobs our children everything our children very important because they are going to join us in the heavenly realm we have to do more for that but then once we are free once that is done our mind goes back to that heavenly thing if you I'll urge you to listen to those messages and also in another message he about this passage that has spoken about the job being compared to Gideon's job where the when the jar is broken the light comes out now I'm not going to do a Bible study but when you get time if you try and find that message listen to that you learn and listen and we'll read these verses again and again and each time I read it it's like I'm getting a new treasure if each time I get I get a hope that I'm not going to be like that things are going to be better in my spiritual life and that hope keeps me going and and I also want to think of another beautiful illustration I like illustrations like I said about the geode that often comes to mind because I think of that the happiness and the glee my grandchildren had when they broke open this geode and saw those little particles that those shining things and we all ladies we like these kind of shining things and these treasures another picture which comes to my mind is some of our children have books not ordinary books but special books and each page has a picture and and in each page there's a mosaic pattern and different colors and all that and you turn another pattern different colors and so you look at one page and all that you can see at first is just a bizarre pattern and some colors and all that and then you look closely at that and you see something else in that picture I don't know if you you can understand what I mean I think they're called eye-teasers or something you look look intently at that page and you see right inside that there's a picture of a beautiful angel and as a page there's a picture of a castle or another page there's a what comes out is a crown or shining but when you just look at look at it first you could only see the multicolored page you look at closely you see is there is something more beautiful that's what I think is far beyond what we look at temporal things is like that page which you first see and you look more intently more closely come closer to the Lord and look right into meditate and think of heavenly things especially from his word and you see a different thing altogether beautiful things we can see in God's Word and that comes living to us I can't describe it many many things which we can learn and that's a just an example it's just a small example and things are more beautiful for that another example is I can think of is if you have seen this pictures of the pilgrims progress there are some books and some slides which we have seen about the pilgrim walk and towards the end of the pilgrim days Christian and his friend hopeful almost the end of the journey and they almost reached Celestial City just a few more days and they reach the Celestial City so they come to the mountains where there are keen shepherds are taking care of his sheep and those are the pastors represents God's servants who are taking care so pilgrim Christian and his his friend the shepherds told them if you come in the morning we'll show you the Celestial City so they went up to those mountains and they said if you look right there straight ahead you'll see the Celestial City and they looked and looked and it was all misty you know far away from the mountains you know how it is in the mountains everything covered by mist and suddenly the mist parted and they saw a glimpse of that Celestial City and Christian says oh that glimpse of that Celestial City was so wonderful far more than what I could describe just a glimpse and then it went away and he said that glimpse was enough to keep me going and say Lord I must reach that city I am seeing it from a distance and that itself is so glorious when I reach there how much more glorious because you are there the person who I'm imagining and seeing by faith I'm actually seeing that seeing you there and your presence and your glory will be all over there how much more beautiful when I actually reach that Celestial City so that that picture always comes to my mind it's a Lord and right now in my human body my human frailties I cannot comprehend God because if with my human eyes I see God I died I cannot bear with my sinful nature with my simple frailties if I see God it's too much for me but when I'm after left this earth and I'm with you and I have that spiritual body then I can bear to see you Lord if with my limitations let me have that little bit of that glimpse just a little bit of that glimpse of that glory that's enough to keep me going that's what Christian said just a glimpse so in these days of trial Lord everybody everyone in the world is talking unbelief and fear but deep down in my heart I know there's a hope just like if I can get a glimmer of that hope of that hope which I have in that being with you that's enough and I can keep going for the rest of my days let more trials come let more viruses come whatever may come losses anything but I have seen that glimpse just a glimpse just a tiny transient glimpse of that that he keep me going that's what I often come and I thank God for these days these days and moments that we have dear sisters don't waste these days we are in the middle of our work we have more work because we have children now it's a vacation for children we have more work but yet there's a purpose for this things which are happening even if you go to the shower and you get a few minutes say Lord let me have a glimpse of what is ahead of me then I'll never be tempted to go back that's what I want to challenge you with I think in closing you have taken a long time but in closing I want I have a poem here but I you know how it is with poetry if you read poetry you get and especially my pronunciation may not be clear for you but if you get a chance look up in the internet for this song show me thy face one transient gleam of loveliness divine I'll read the first two lines again show me thy face thy face one transient gleam of loveliness divine the there are four verses of that song and both those all the verses begin with the show me thy face show me thy face and I'll summarize some of the things if I see your face Lord just a transient gleam I know if I really see your face how it is I cannot bear it I'll faint I'll collapse but just a glimpse just a transient glimpse Lord if I can see on that loveliness divine then it says I won't think of any love but thine the first verse says every all the lesser lights on earth will be dark because of your glorious light and the most beautiful on earth will never seem beautiful again if I see a just a glimpse of your face second with versus Lord show me your face then my for my my faith and my love will be fixed on you nothing can move that calmness if I just have a glimpse of that glorious face and life will will be so will be like a trance will be like a dream only you will be reality if I see your face the third verse says Lord show me your face because if I see your face I forget all the weary days and all the fretting and the regrets I had about the past they will not haunt me anymore if I have it just a glimpse of your face and also the doubts and fears about my future they won't haunt me at all if I have a glimpse of your face instead they'll be calm trust in you Lord the last verse is Lord show me your face because then even the heaviest burden heaviest cross will be light for me to bear every loss will be a game for me Lord every care will be peace and life itself will be so brief we think it's long but life itself will be so bleak brief but will be a blessed life yes dear sisters now we see darkly as through a glass but one day we see everything will come clear to us and we see clearly that's why I want to urge you read God's word especially the verses which I said and many more take every opportunity and say Lord fix my heart every song that I sing fix my heart to you that I'll never be tempted to go back never be tempted to complain or compare my lot with anything anything that you don't like Lord just burn it away like the fire burns and
