God lives and works today. Man was created for only one purpose, to bring God glory. Does your life do this? If not, today's meditation by Basilea Schlink can help you.

Our small chapel of praise in the Alps near Bern, Switzerland, serves as a herald. It calls out, give God the glory. This chapel looks directly out upon the immense Alps, which peers upwards far beyond other mountains, eternally snow-covered in great beauty and power.

The powerful angel holding in his hand the balance scale, as pictured in mosaic inside the chapel, lets the call from heaven sound out to men, Worship Him, who has made heaven and earth, for the time of His judgment has come. This call to give God the glory, to recognize Him again as Lord and creator of our life, bringing us into the true relationship of creature to creator and of a child to its father, is a call for our times. God soldiers to take up your post, you are God's chosen band.

You dwell the moments that remain, the end is near at hand. Giving God the glory, making Him Lord of our life, and letting His standards be ours, makes men strong. God's will and the proclaiming of it, namely the recognizing of His commandments as obligatory, enables men to stand as pillars in this crumbling world.

Give God the glory. This call is the word of redemption from Satan's whirlpool into which humanity has been pulled. Those who accept this call cannot be driven back and forth by deceiving words and the confusing tricks of the enemy.

They stand firm because they are grounded in God's commandments. Let us unite, giving God the glory, each one in his own life, so that we may erect a powerful bulwark against all satanic deception in the last time of moral landside. Honor Him by accepting yourself exactly as He has made you.

Do not wish to be anyone else than who you are. Honor Him by bowing yourself under your cross and saying, I need it and therefore I will carry it. Honor Him by praying and praising even when you're not feeling like it, for God expects it and we owe it to Him.

Yes, give God the glory, for it belongs to Him. O Father, your plans are beyond compare, gay birds song and flowers so fair. The sky, the mountains seeking, of God's great glory speaking.

Praise Him, Alleluia! Praise Him, Alleluia! We praise and we worship and laud your name, forever we'll sing of your fame. Create a great exalted being, to you our praise and glory be. Praise Him, Alleluia! Praise Him, Alleluia! You have been listening to a program written by Basilea Schlink of the Little Land of Canaan.
