Faith is the foundational principle in the Kingdom of God, and without it, it is impossible to please God.
Bishop M.A. Lalachan emphasizes the crucial role of faith in pleasing God and highlights that works alone cannot save us. He stresses that without faith, there is no connection to God, which is essential for our salvation. The preacher underscores that the source of our faith is the Word of God, and the quality of our faith is determined by where we place it, with God being the ultimate object of our faith.
Text
"Without faith it is impossible to please God... "(Hebrews 11:6)
Faith is the foundational principle in the Kingdom of God and fundamental to salvation. We are told in Scripture that works cannot save and without faith it is impossible to please God. Without faith there is no union to God. Now, communion to God is indispensable to our salvation. Romans 10:17 says "So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ"
The source of our Faith is the word of God and the source of faith determines the quality of our faith. In the Kingdom of God, the issue is not how much faith we have, but where our faith is placed. The stability of our faith is determined by the stability of its object. Our Faith is no better than its object. The object of our faith determines the quantity, or size, of our faith. Remember the object of our faith is God Himself. In Mark 11:22 Jesus said to His disciples "Have faith in God,"
Faith is not positive thinking or hoping for the best. Faith must be in God's omniscient knowledge, not our limited understanding. Faith in God is steadfast and stable in storms. A lack of faith is not weakness; it is wickedness. Because Unbelief is slander against God (1 John 5:10).Therefore Feeble faith in God is better than strong faith in anything else. Keep in mind our faith is only as secure as the object of our faith.
