(Clip) Young People Seek the Lord for Himself

I want to wish everyone a happy new year 2022, and I wanted to share a quick word that's upon my heart. I don't know if I can get it across exactly how I want to get it across, but I'm going to try. I'm seeing a bunch of young Christians launching ministry prematurely because the availability of social media like YouTube and TikTok, Facebook, and stuff like that, they feel like they want to get out there and to share what they got from the Lord. And they're losing the impact that they could have had if they would have stayed hidden away longer with the Lord. We have had so many historical accounts of men and women of God that hid themselves away for years until God launched them onto the scene. And when God launches people onto the scene, then all of heaven's going to back them. There's going to be a greater impact, a greater anointing, a greater deliverance ministry per se. You know, we need a bunch of deliverer ministries far greater than we need deliverance ministries. They're both needed, but the deliverer ministries like the spirit of Elijah's, the spirit of Ravenhill's, the spirit of Finney's that come onto the scene, the spirit of Wesley's that come onto the scene, where God just had these men and women hid away. And then he launched them out the door. They didn't open the door. God opened the door. And the floodgate of heaven followed with them. And we have a bunch of shallow ministries today. They're impactful, but they're not making the impact that they could have had if they would have waited upon God longer in the secret place. You know, I've been a Christian now for 25 years. And the reason I can share this, because I did it myself when I first became a Christian, I was 24 years old and I was kicking down doors. But you know, it was very spiritual when I was doing it in the name of Jesus. And I had the right motive. I wanted to share what I had. And what we're doing is this. We're decreasing in a secret place. We're getting alone with God. And we're getting consecrated. And as we're decreasing, we begin to sense the anointing. We begin to sense the glory of God. And we want to share it. And so what we're doing is as we're going down, but yet God wanted us down here, but we launch right here. So we launch public ministry here. And it's an impact, but like I said, not the impact we could have had if we would have waited upon God down here. God would have just totally helped us abandon ourselves entirely to him. The self would have been crucified, consecrated to the Lord. And then we launch with a much powerful anointing onto the scene. Like I said, we need deliverer ministries more than anything else today where men and women are God are just hidden away in a secret place, getting alone with God. And here's the temptation. I'm almost done. I'm almost done. Hold on. What we're doing is this. So as we're coming down here and we launch early prematurely out of the closet, we think to ourselves, well, I can continue to consecrate. I can continue to get alone with God. And that's very true. You can continue. And I assume you're going to continue to decrease. But you begin to focus now more on to the public ministry than your ministry with him that you could have had if you would have waited. And then what you do, you slow down, you go from fifth year to first year. You're still decreasing, but at a much slower pace now, because now you're focusing on what you can say, how to launch, how to do this. You're focusing more on the public ministry rather than the secret place ministry with the Lord. And that is the big difference we're seeing today more than ever. I hope this makes sense. I hope this helps someone out. We have a bunch of microwave ministries today springing up all over the place like that microwave popcorn that gets done within one minute when God wants to mold us and break us and shape us. God has not changed brothers and sisters. He has the waiting for him. This waiting upon God has not changed. He still wants us to wait upon the Lord to renew our strength before we launch an impactful ministry to go out into the scene into this dark world we live in for the cause of Christ.
