Psalm 119:13

The sermon emphasizes the supernatural effect of divine instruction, resulting in a determined declaration of God's truths, and calls believers to pray for the Spirit of Wisdom to faithfully proclaim God's Word.
Brent Yim emphasizes the transformative power of immersing oneself in the Word of God, leading to a deep understanding and declaration of His truths. Just as the psalmist declared all the judgments of God's mouth, believers are called to boldly proclaim the revelations they have received through divine instruction. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, individuals can confidently share the righteous wisdom they have gained from God, reflecting a heart that is attuned to His voice and teachings.

Text

"With my lips I have declared all the judgments of Your mouth."

On the wake of expressing a passionate plea to know the heart and mind of God more intimately, the psalmist, by way of personal confession, reveals the supernatural effect of sitting under the heavenly instruction of the "Blessed Lord".

Throughout the Scriptures we find that when a human heart is exposed to the veracity and wisdom of the Word of God through divine revelation, it inevitably results in a determined declaration of those truths that have graciously been revealed. In light of this contemplation, I can't help but think of the bold profession of the man of God who wrote, "I believed, therefore I spoke."

There's nothing more inspiring than being in the company of someone who has ears to hear what Father is speaking through the tutoring ministry of the Holy Spirit; for they, having partaken of divine instruction, can't help but irresistibly and freely announce to others the righteous revelation that has been received from the mouth of Deity.

Therefore, may our prayer be that God would grant us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation through the knowledge of Christ so that we might faithfully proclaim the matchless Word of God and confidently sing with the psalmist, "With my lips I have declared all the judgments of Your mouth."
