...heeded your heart. I'll have to be able to speak, but you said, let me not see my wretchedness. You didn't want to see it, and because of it, you could see the promises, but you couldn't go in. And that's where so many people are living today. They travel the concert circuit, and they see the promises, but they can't go in. Let me tell you why you can't go in. God has to be able to speak to you. The issues of the heart have got to be dealt with. And then God says, you've got my heart. The call of the church is to live in a miraculous realm, folks, and the miraculous realm, as I said earlier, is Christ in me, as Paul says, the hope of glory. Hallelujah. I've lived this. I'll continue to live it. I'm going to live it until I die. I'd like to invite you to join me, because I do live in revival. I'm not waiting for it to come. I live in it today. I live in revival. Revival is Christ. Revival is when God has all of me, and I know I have all of God. That's revival. Revival is when I'm not willing to say no to God, and he just takes me. That's why I'm here. No, I don't pick and choose conferences because of location or names or size. I lay my hand on them, and they come in. The one that sticks to my hand will say, that's spiritual speaking. Some of them literally do. I don't. The Lord gave me this word for you. It's pointless to study revival if you won't let God speak to you. Pointless. Look throughout history. I mean, if I had to, I could go back in history and explain it to you, but most of you already know it. What is it that God is trying to speak that you won't let him hear? What is he trying to get at? What is the area that if he would just go there, he could use your life in a way that would truly, truly bring glory to his name? I don't know if you even give all the calls here. I don't know if you're even familiar with them. But an altar call is a humbling of oneself. It's a recognition. It's a declaration to God that we're willing to make also before man that, Lord, you're speaking to me. I know that you're speaking to my heart. And I'm not here to play games, and I'm not here to find some formula. I want the real Christ, and I want a real revival in my heart. That's where it begins, folks. It starts in me. If God could get a hold, fully a hold of one person here in this room, he could change this country. That's all he's ever needed is a vessel. Would you possibly, I remember this story. I read a lot of biographies, and D.L. Moody was sitting on a bench, and he was largely illiterate, a troublemaker, a recent convert, a young man, and a friend who's a Christian sat beside him, and he said, Dwight, the world has yet to see what God could do through a man who's fully surrendered to the Holy Spirit. And his friend just got up after that remark and left, and he said he sat on the bench and said, By the grace of God and the Spirit of God, I shall be that man. And of course, the rest is history. The Lord used him so mightily that he could go into some of the ecclesiastical halls of learning of that day that was supposed to be preparing young preachers, and they would come, especially in the United Kingdom, they would come just to laugh at him, this illiterate man from America that spoke Jerusalem as a one-syllable word. And they would come to mock him, and as he would begin to preach, I remember in one particular hall they had a stairwell in the middle of the hall, and up above was what they called a sinner's room. And as he began to speak and encourage these young men who were being trained in some of the finest colleges in the world at that time to get rid of their powerless religion and get a living relationship with God, and as he was speaking, men would start climbing that stairway, and they would be unashamed, because they knew that something was in his life that they needed. And all the call is a declaration. It's a humbling of oneself. That's really where it starts. Now, you can sit tonight and say, and I'm not trying to make anything happen. I've long ago given up on that kind of foolishness. You can sit and say, let me not see my wretchedness, and that's exactly what will happen. Or you can say, God, take this temple. I want a personal revival. I want you to touch my life. And if that's the cry of your heart, I'm going to ask you to just get out of your seat and make your way, and we're going to pray.
