You know, part of his truth marching on, that you and I can't ignore any longer, is that he takes the weak, he takes the foolish, he takes those who don't believe that in themselves anything through their lives could ever be accomplished. These are the people throughout history that he's always selected to do his work for the sole reason that no one in pride can ever stand before God and say, God and I did this. That we know what we are without God.

We know the hopelessness of our condition and the emptiness of our profession. If he doesn't give us the power, we have nothing to say and there's nothing we can do. And when we get to that point one more time in history, God comes to the Gideons of this generation, the young men and the older men who just don't see any power or resource in their life.

And God comes and says to you, oh, mighty man of valor, mighty man of resources, comes to the Esthers of this generation, the young girls and middle-aged women and such, like he says, you don't know the authority you have with the king. You have no idea what can be done through your hand. And God just doesn't want to answer your prayer, but he's going to give you the power to rewrite the law of death into a law of life.

He's going to do something through your life. And when we reach these moments in history, the deepest battle that we will ever fight is getting beyond ourselves. It's believing that scriptural history can actually repeat itself and that I can be part of the solution.

That means you. Not just the preachers, not just the elders or the pastors or those in profile places, but you. And so I want to pray tonight for every Gideon and every Esther.

In the sanctuary and online with us tonight, every person who just doesn't believe that your life could ever amount to anything, you have no idea what God could do. You see, the point is simple. It's not complicated.

He is God. And if he chooses to use you, that's his choice. And he doesn't need your intellect.

He doesn't need your bank account. He doesn't need your resume. He doesn't need your diplomas.

All he has ever needed is a heart that says, I'll go with you. If you're calling me, I'll go. If you're telling me I can influence the king, I'll go in and influence the king.

If you're telling me I can walk on water, I'm going to walk on water. As long as it's you calling me, Lord, I'm going to go. I'm going to believe you.

I'm going to trust you. So you can sit back and laugh at these words if you want, but that's all you'll ever get in life. But for those who can hear it, moments like this in history require the nobodies and nothings of society to rise up in God one more time and to trust him that he will bring his name to honor through you, and to get beyond the sense of worthlessness, to get beyond the sense of what could I ever do, and to start agreeing with him.

He is God. It doesn't matter what I can or can't do. Whatever he chooses to do will happen.

So give me the courage just to go through every door you open. Give me the courage to walk down every alley you call me, to speak every word you give me, and trust you for the rest. Just give me the courage to let you be God.

Give me the courage to not give in to fear, but when you call me to lay hands on that person in the workplace who's sick and pray for them, or to take their hand and pray for their kids, or their circumstances, to believe that you can do the miraculous through my life. You can answer my prayer. You can take me into places that only God can.

It's so easy to pray for somebody else and believe for them, isn't it? You can even grab the person's hand beside you and say, oh God, make this a mighty man or woman of God. And you can actually believe that God can, but when it comes to you, when it comes to the person that you have to live with every day, the mirror that you got to look into, it's just like, you know, God never really encountered anything quite like this. I am the one exception to God being able to do something through somebody.

And the devil's right there trying to convince you that that's true. But he's a liar. God can do whatever he wants to do in your life.

We have no problem praying for revival as long as it's an out there thing. But what about revival when it's in me? And what if God wants to use your life to bring about revival in your neighborhood, your apartment, your block, your business? Revival means people start turning to God. They start praying.

What if it's you that he wants to use? And not somebody else, and not some television preacher, not some tape you want to hand out or CD. But it's actually you that God wants to use. That's where the miracles start to take place.

When you and I believe that God can take us in our nothingness and he can make something out of it and his name can be glorified. Always gets so quiet when it gets personal, doesn't it? I'm talking to people online who just sit in your kitchen week after week, drug addicted. When are you going to rise up out of that and realize that your whole purpose in life is not just to get free, but to bring freedom to other people? There's a much deeper purpose than just getting free.

Yes, that's true. That's what God's calling us to do in this generation. Weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but they're mighty in God.

Mighty in God to the tearing down of strongholds and bringing down every thought that exalts itself above the knowledge of who God is. That's what our calling is in this and every other generation. Praise God.

We're going to pray. We're going to pray for the Gideons. We're going to pray for the Esthers.

We're going to pray for an awakening in us, an awakening to who God is in us and what God can do in us. We're not going to draw down into mediocrity in this generation. We are given a high calling now.

You are the light of the world. You are. That's what Jesus said.

I'm quoting Jesus. You are the light of the world. A city that's set on a hill cannot be hidden.

If my heart is set on the victory of Christ on the cross, then the testimony of God will not be hidden in my life or through my life. And I refuse to draw back into mediocrity when the living Christ is inside of my life. I simply refuse to draw back.

At some point, at some point in this church age, people have to get a hold of faith again. At some point, we have to start believing what we've studied. At some point, we have to go across the border into the promised place of Christ and believe that what God says he can do, God is able to do.

At some point, we have to believe it. Because if we don't believe it, all that's left is to die in the wilderness and talk about somebody else's story at some other time in some other place. But I'm not willing to live there.

I don't know about you, but I'm going in. Whatever God has for my life, that's what I want. Wherever he's going to take me, that's where I want to go.

Let that be the cry of your heart. God, start a revival. Start it in me.

That should be the cry of your heart tonight. Start it in me. Start an awakening in my neighborhood.

Start it in me. Lord, give me courage. Give me faith.

Give me boldness to go in and to believe you for everything that you have for my life. Others may draw back, but I won't. Others may say you can't, but I say you can.

Others may say you won't, but I say you will. You are willing. You are able.

You are God. There is no other God besides you. So lift your heart tonight.

Lift your hands. I'm going to ask Elder David, if you come lead us in prayer, and let's believe God. Oh, folks, please don't draw down into silence, especially not at this time.

We've been raised for this moment. We've been taught about this moment. We've been promised this moment.

We've been schooled in this moment. It's time for the church to rise up. It's time for us to be the people of God.

It's time for us to pray like we've never prayed. It's time for Christ to show who he is through his people. One more time in history.

One more time for his namesake and for his glory. Lift your voice now. Lift your hands.

Lift your heart. Let's begin to pray together. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah.

Glory to your name, Jesus. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, we bless your name tonight. Oh, God, thank you, Jesus.

Thank you, God, that you've called us for such a time as this. You've called us as weak as we are, as feeble as we are. God, as frail as we are, as faulty as we are, you've called us.

You've put a calling upon our lives, dear God, and we thank you. Thank you. It's all about you, dear God.

It's about your strength, your power, your love for humanity, dear God, your compassion for the lost, your glory, your strength, your majesty. It's all about you, oh God. We look to you.

We look away from ourselves tonight. We look away from our feebleness. We look away from even our past failures.

We look away, dear God, from all the times that we've promised to do right and we've done wrong. God, we look away from all the times that we've fallen flat on our face. Oh, God, when we've tried to do it in our own strength, we look away from our ability to do anything to the glory of God.

And we look to you in faith, oh God. Only you can revive us. Only you can quicken us.

Only you can call us out of the grave. Only you can quicken us and make us alive. A testimony, a city set upon a hill.

Only you can breathe life upon us, oh God. Only you, dear God, can strengthen us. Only you can take the little that we are, the snack that we put into your hands, the few fish, the few loaves that we put into your hands, and you can feed the multitudes, oh God.

We come to you, dear God, remembering, remembering like David did when he was tending the sheep that you gave him strength to conquer the lion and the bear that came against the foal. God, we remember our past victories and we acknowledge that it was only you, only you that brought us out, dear God. Only you that gave us victory over the enemy.

And God, we say yes to your calling. We say yes to the impossible. You're calling us out of the boat to walk upon waters of impossibility, but we keep our eyes on you, oh God.

Oh, we keep our eyes on you. Jesus, you're able to make us what you've always intended us to be. God, we look to the cross and everything you purchased for us, boldness, compassion for the lost, a heart of love, a heart of tenderness, a heart of courage, oh God, to stand against the fiercest of enemies.

We look to the cross. We look to your sacrifice, oh God, and we say yes, oh God. Yes, oh God.

Oh, clothe us, clothe us, oh God, in the righteousness of Christ. Clothe us in power. Clothe us, dear God, in boldness and desire.

When we hear the enemy breathing down our backs, saying we can't do anything, when we hear our flesh rising up, saying we can't do anything for the kingdom of God, we look to the cross and we say yes, Lord. Yes, God. It can be done, oh God.

You can do the miraculous through our lives. You can do the miraculous in our lives. Come, oh God, and revive us.

Revive us. Begin in me, oh God. Begin in me.

Make me a testimony in my workplace. Make me a testimony in my neighborhood. Make me a voice in this generation.

Oh God, I don't want to be silent. Oh God, I don't want to just have a theology. I want it to explode within my heart.

I want your heart to explode within mine, oh God. I want your compassion to move me to the needs of others, oh God. Come, Holy Spirit, empower me, oh God.

Empower us, oh God. In the name of Jesus, we will give you the glory. We will not touch it, oh God, because it belongs to you.

We will declare that you and you alone were able to do this. Oh God, you receive the glory. Receive the honor.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Hallelujah.
