Walking with God is possible through agreement with God, made possible through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Chuck Smith emphasizes the importance of walking with God, highlighting that it is possible to experience His presence, love, and strength. He discusses the benefits of this relationship, including peace, confidence, joy, and strength, which come from being in harmony with God. Smith stresses that agreement with God is essential for this walk, as one must choose to follow His path. He points out that while the verse raises the question of fellowship, the true gospel is found in Jesus, who bridges the gap between a holy God and sinful man. Ultimately, the cross serves as the meeting place for this divine relationship.
