God says I have placed you as a Watchman you are going to hear the words at my mouth and you're going to communicate them to the people now We have the watchman not standing observing dangers and shouting down warnings to the people down inside the city We rather have a watchman who's listening to the words of God and attempting to be faithful To pass those warnings on to the people the the stakes are raised pretty high in verse 18 and 19 when God says when I give you a message and you don't warn that person the person who dies will they will die In their sin, but I'm going to hold you responsible because you did not pass on the warning
