I remember your visit. And ever since I've known brother Kuzmic, he's been boasting about the wonderful church here. And I say a big amen to everything he told me.
I was in Poland 15 years ago, when the communists were still in power. And I fell in love with the Polish people. And I learned to eat soup.
Good soup. I came to Croatia. I met those lovely people.
And they had good soup. I come to Romania. And I get some of the best soup.
But we've met some wonderful people. And never forget this visit. We'll be here tomorrow.
And Sunday evening. I've written a number of prophetic books. And in the United States, some refer to me as a prophet.
I am not a prophet. But I'm one of his many watchmen. God raises up watchmen.
He gives them his heart about the future. And I stand before you tonight with a heavy heart. Again today, and even during the service, there's this heaviness in my heart.
It's what I feel about the United States. I'm not going to run my country down. I love my country like you love your country.
But I weep for the United States. Forty years ago, when I was a young man, Forty years ago, in New York City, you never locked your doors. That's just forty years ago.
Forty years ago, in the United States, the worst problems in our schools, talking in class, being late for classes, mixing gum, and getting out of line when they're marching to class. Let me give you what our major problems are right now. Number one is raping, beating up teachers, teenage pregnancies, carrying weapons to school, violence and drugs, in forty years.
In 1958, Jesus called me out of a little town to go to preach to drug addicts, alcoholics in New York City. Drugs and violence seem to be limited in Chicago and Los Angeles and New York, three major cities. So I've been working with drug addicts and troubled young people for forty years.
And I would go all over the United States warning that the drug plague was going to come to the whole country. I would go down into Texas in the south, in the middle of the nation, where people were comfortable, and I started to warn them. Drugs will flood the country.
We're going to push God out of our schools. There's going to be violence in our schools. Our children are going to kill children.
I had ministers correct me and to prove to the Church of Jesus Christ that He has the power to change anybody. Drug addicts, alcoholics, prostitutes. And that was the beginning of Teen Challenge.
But after a few years, I was invited all over the country with the same problems. I had crusades. Thousands would come.
I had to have ambulances outside the door. There was a new drug. In America, in English, we call it acid.
It's a liquid you put on a little piece of paper absorbed in the paper. They would put it on the tongue and suck it and go crazy. And many of them lost their minds.
I remember one night many young people were passing out. A young girl came up on stage and she was about 15 years old. And she was leading a blind boy to me.
He was like a skeleton. She stood in front of me. She said, I'm sorry to interrupt you.
But this is my boyfriend. He just got out of the hospital. He was a star football player in our school.
Never used drugs. But he went to a party last year and they had acid. And they asked him to experiment, try it.
And he didn't want to be any different than the crowd. Young people, I want you to listen closely to me. Just to see what it was like.
They call it dropping acid. He dropped some acid. And he absolutely went out of his mind.
They raced him to the hospital. It almost ruined his liver. He went blind.
He lost all of his hair. And she said, I love him. I loved him then and I still love him now.
He was a vegetable, as we call it. Empty. He couldn't even talk to me.
And in front of thousands of people he faced me, a weeping girlfriend. And I just stopped and I wept. I couldn't preach, I couldn't talk.
I said, God, what is happening to our country? Five years ago we didn't even know this. Five years ago the only people on drugs were jazz musicians in New York City. And here's a boy, star of the football team, never been in trouble.
And in one night loses his mind, goes blind. I put my arms around him and I prayed, God, heal this boy. He couldn't hear, he couldn't understand.
He walked off the platform. But when he walked off the platform something happened in my soul. And it's still here tonight in what I feel.
I look at a generation here in Europe. I saw it in Croatia and I see it here now. There are some that are drug addicts, but it's beginning to spread.
And your country now, just like all of the area around us, all the countries around us here, you are going the same way. The same thing is happening. I got a telephone call from my daughter-in-law a few weeks ago before I came.
My son pastors in Denver, Colorado. And she said, Dad, a terrible thing has just happened. She said, you're going to hear it on the news in an hour or two.
She said, a tragedy has happened in a school near us. And the school nurse goes to our church. Two teenagers came into the school and they were loaded with automatic guns and started shooting students.
They went into the cafeteria and started shooting students. Up and down the hall shooting teachers. Fifteen have been killed.
Forty are injured. And panic has broken out. Within an hour it was on the news all over the world.
One of the girls was a Christian that had known these two boys. And she was on her knees. And one of them put a gun to her head.
Hey, so you believe in Jesus? You believe in Him now with a gun at your head? She said, I believe in Jesus. And they walked away from her. They didn't kill her.
In another city an eight-year-old boy and a ten-year-old boy full of hatred borrowed five guns broke into grandfather's house stole his guns and his shotguns. They went into the school and set off the fire alarm so that all the students would run out. And when they ran out they were in the woods next to the school and just started firing at them.
Six children killed. In another school twelve Christian students knelt to pray in the hall. Two teenage boys were laughing at them.
One had brought a gun with him to school and started shooting them. Six Christian boys six Christian young people on their knees praying were killed. Because we drove God out of our schools.
You are not allowed to pray in any American school. You can pray in any Russian school now. One of the teachers in our church laid a Bible a few weeks ago laid a Bible on her desk.
The superintendent said if you don't take the Bible out of there you will be fired. And here's the tragedy. She can put a pornography book on her table she can put the Koran on the table she can put anything on atheism on the table but she can't put a Bible on her table.
Or be fired from her job. We don't want God in our schools anymore. We don't want God in our society anymore.
On our money it says in God we trust but that's a lie now. Oh yes we have many Christians praying Christians some wonderful churches people that are praying for our country but all the tragedy one judge had a wooden plaque with the 10 commandments in his courtroom. They said they will remove him as a judge unless he takes that off the wall.
He is pushed out of our prison system. One of our workers here she works in prison she had just a little cross hanging she wasn't a Catholic some friend had given her a gift it didn't mean anything to her but a little piece of jewelry they said take that off your neck or you're fired. In the United States it's against the law in many communities now to have a manger scene with Christ and Mary and the baby a manger scene.
Now let me tell you what's going to happen to the United States. I've written a book and I've sent it all over the United States it's called America's Last Call in your news you read about our stock market and our great prosperity everyone is looking to get there's such a spirit of covetousness and the need to have money and cars and things as I stand here right now in front of you the United States is the most prosperous country on the face of the earth you know that, you hear about it you may have friends that are living in the United States they tell you what's happening incredible prosperity but I'm telling you this America is about to be judged by God Almighty very soon we're going to have a crash our economy is going to crash there's going to be a great depression massive unemployment millions upon millions of dollars will be lost overnight six weeks ago one of the largest investment corporations in America almost collapsed if it had collapsed they were trading in currencies all over the world and they lost millions of dollars because of Russian economy and if they went bankrupt our government knew and the stock market knew the whole economy would have collapsed they had an emergency meeting ten major bankers in New York City they met for lunch but the caterer who catered the lunch comes to our church and he was in the meeting serving food so he called me he told me what happened in that room these are men who control the economy and it's wealth and they were saying it looks like it's all over what happened? who understands what's going on? they were in panic and this brother from our church told me just what you have been warning about almost happened today it was not expected it comes suddenly no one can explain it but the United States government and these bankers put nearly a billion I think it was ten billion dollars to rescue it that's how close we are and it's because God says I will not be mocked I'm not trying to scare anybody here because you may be thinking if that happens to the United States what happens to our country folks, it doesn't matter about the economy God doesn't worry about the economy whether it's high or whether it's low he is God whether there's a depression or whether there's prosperity he never fails his people he takes care of his church he takes care of his people we're not worried about it the Christians are not worried about it but everybody that has money in the stock market worried about it you say why are you telling us this tonight because I see something happening in Croatia I see it here in Romania now it's a spirit nobody tells me about it I've talked to no businessman about it I've not talked to teenagers about it but there's a spirit that comes from the pits of hell itself it's a desire to have more things of this world you say wait a minute Pastor David you're coming from a rich country you drive a nice car you have a home and we have suffered and you come here and you warn us that we have a spirit coming on us now to reach out for things and desire more of the things of this world I tell you this that is what has destroyed our country getting our eyes off Jesus now you see many Christians in the United States with their computers many of them they went to church just like this the church was on fire the young people were on fire for God but they they stopped praying like they used to pray they took the blessings of God for granted and because God was blessing so much they lost their first love for Jesus this is what Jesus said to the last day church those with the Laodicean spirit he talked about their yearning for riches a desire for increase of goods that means it would be nice to have a better car nicer furniture there's nothing wrong with that in itself but when it removes you from your prayer chamber but when it robs you for your first love for Jesus then one day you come to church the church where the spirit of God was moving where your young people were turning away from drugs young people were pure and righteous before God and then a coldness comes down and then it's just a ritual the spirit of God is gone and people are no longer getting saved Jesus called it lukewarmness he said you're not hot, you're not cold you've really not turned against me but you don't have that fire in your soul anymore and I didn't intend to preach like I'm preaching now but I know the spirit of the Lord is upon me let me tell you about New York City and our church the spirit of the Lord is on our people Sunday morning two hours before church people line up people are coming and getting saved so many people you lined up all the way out we're baptizing hundreds but the Holy Spirit stood in the pulpit a month ago and there's danger you have to stand before the people and I told them what the spirit of God told me we are losing our first love we are taking the blessings of God for granted we've seen so much blessing we've been praising God so wonderful we've heard so many people say but we're not praying as we did something is happening to us all the pastors got together we began to seek God again and some people would say why would you increase your prayer life when everything is so right why would you say that there's a loss of first love when people have their hands up and praising God because man looks on the outward appearance but God looks in the heart you can come to this church you can raise your hands and praise God and you can boast about your church but something is happening to some of you and I say this with love the same thing I say to my sheep be careful unless you leave your first love and then you end up sitting in front of a television set watching things that are evil and slowly backsliding in your soul mothers that were mothers of Zion who used to pray for their children they would weep and they would cry and they would tell God I don't give up until you save my boy until you save my daughter they didn't go to the pastor and ask for prayer my child is going to hell my boy may go to drugs my daughter may get mixed up in sin I had a praying mother my mother prayed for me every day she was a mother of Zion and I used to hear her pray I would be outside the window waiting for supper and my father who was a preacher said you are going to have to wait mother has a burden for you and here is what she prayed dear Jesus if he is not going to serve you I know he is saved now I would rather you take him right now take him to heaven right now but don't let the devil have him I still remember her prayers I see many grandmothers here many mothers here this afternoon I was weeping in my heart because you can talk about drugs coming to the city and there is going to be an invasion and I have seen so many wonderful young people in this church and I said oh God what can I say and the Holy Spirit has given me this word to every mother hearing me every grandmother in this place shut off the television if you have a television set shut off the radio don't get on the phone and gossip and talk to people get into a place of prayer these young people the young people in Timisoara are going to be invaded from hell preaching alone is not going to keep them evangelists coming will not keep them and they can't keep themselves the only power we have is on our face in prayer and if this church doesn't get back to prayer and I speak prophetically from the hands of God every minister of this church every worker in this church everybody in the congregation every musician you are going to have to do like we are doing we have called a fast we are fasting we are praying we are seeking the face of God don't take the spirit from us don't take the Holy Ghost from us bring conviction of the Holy Ghost our young people are going crazy the only hope we have is prayer God told me I had to pray now more than I did when I was 25 years old I have to shut everything no watching television turn everything off get along with God and to plead with Him and God told me to tell you wait for your children it's what Jesus said to Jerusalem wait for your children an invasion of drugs coming this country is going to have one of the worst drug problems in the whole world the violence is breaking out in your schools soon there will not be a safe street in this country not even in the farms you can turn me off if you want you can say that will never happen but what I felt 40 years ago in my country I feel in my heart here and I know the Holy Ghost is in this church this was a wonderful choir the music touched my heart the orchestra is one of the finest I've heard and I see some clean wonderful young people and while I've been preaching this is what I've seen tears but there has to be more more a broken heart we have forgotten to pray you say oh we pray not like when we started we've been too busy other things have come in now hallelujah oh God move in this church move on these pastors forgive us oh God forgive us I weep for this country oh God don't let happen what happened to us God raise up your successors people will fast and pray oh Lord what you want to do here it has just begun but unless we pray it's going to die there's a spirit right now a touch of death I come against it in Jesus name I find that warm spirit and we drive it out of this church and every pastor in this place awaken our hearts we are going after too much education too much arts too much professionalism and God says back to your knees holy spirit come convict us share our hearts I can't do it you have to do it I can't do it but you can God help us we need you we need a new touch if you need a new touch of God if you need to repent because you have not been seeking God as you should I want you to stand to your feet and I want you to lift your hands to God say touch me again restore my first love Jesus everybody in this house if you don't know Jesus call on his name young people raise your hands and call on Jesus the holy ghost is in the church he wants to do a new work tonight every pastor every young person raise his name confess your sins to him bring me back Jesus put your burden in my heart we come back to seek your face call on him now with everything in your soul and the spirit of God will fall upon you everybody in this building call on the name of Jesus forgive me Jesus fill me again fill me again with the Holy Spirit hallelujah hallelujah come Holy Spirit we lift our hearts and our hands to you hallelujah
