The greatest need in our land today is a prophet, a man sent from God, God's man, who will stand in the gap between heaven and earth, between mortal man and almighty God, a holy man who is so wholly sold out to God, so intoxicated with Christ that this world holds no charm and has no hold on such a man, who is so consumed with eternity that his very footprints leave a smoky trail of the lingering fire of God, a man whose desperate life of prayer has left fingerprints on the horns of the altar in glory, a man whose emboldened faith and Enoch-like walk with God gains the attention of the throne room, startles angels and shakes the very gates of hell by his desperate prayers full of force and fire, a man willing to go out on a limb for God and believe God is still in the miracle working business, that nothing is impossible with God and all things are possible to him who believes, God is looking for the man who will take him at his word and trust him enough to fulfill his promises so that all obstacles are surmounted, enemies are vanquished and victory is gained, one man trusting God alone has the strength of a Samson, the fire of an Elijah and the influence of a prince of Egypt like Joseph over a nation, the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him, God is always on the lookout for the man who wants to breathe the atmosphere of angels, live in the supernatural and who through his usefulness to God leaves a mark on his generation with the ground shaking impact of a meteorite that resonates throughout all eternity for God and his glory, we need a prophet at this desperate hour to stir the church to her duty and to call a nation to repentance.
