Full Transcript

Lord Jesus, I founded no institutions nor denominations. I've climbed no ladders of success, and I'm largely unknown within my own denomination. I've achieved no popularity within the church or with my peers, and I'm mainly unwelcome and unwanted most of the time.

But I've been faithful to the call as your preacher in these last tumultuous and trouble-filled years of my life. I have never, ever waived in my duty or failed in my calling to call your church to repentance and revival, and call your people back into a red-hot love relationship with you, Jesus. I'm an old man, and my time is short in a world full of evil, but I know that you, Lord, will be with me to the end.

Now I lay myself on Christ my Savior.
