It's funny how God works sometimes. Years ago, I supported a ministry that got into financial trouble and they needed help in the month of December of that year. I was strapped for cash at the time and I prayed about helping them and God reminded me that I had four one-ounce gold coins in a drawer at home.
God put it on my heart to give that ministry those gold coins and it helped them just in the nick of time. Several years later, it was December and my rent was past due and I didn't have the money and God placed it on a man's heart to give me some gold coins that he had so I could pay my rent and it saved me just in the nick of time. Now, it is December and my rent is past due and I don't have the money and my landlord is breathing down my neck and I'm in a desperate jam.
I need to raise twelve hundred dollars so I won't be evicted and my back is against the wall. But I know my God and I know that he declares, the silver is mine and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of Hosts. I'm trusting him to move his gold around once again and meet my need just in the nick of time.
