Full Transcript

I believe America is too far gone to be turned back to God. I believe if God did send revival to America, friends, the apostate church would fight against it. I believe we as a nation had an opportunity to turn back to God right after the tragedy of 9-11 and we blew it.

I believe pride will kill the soul of a nation just as much as moral corruption will. I believe 60 years ago when the churches of America quit preaching the gospel of ruin, redemption, repentance, and regeneration, we were half sunk already and now we are going down for the third time. And I believe the statesman Daniel Webster was prophetic when he wrote in 1823 about the America of 2019.

Listen to his words, friends, for they explain the reason why we are in the sad shape we are in. If religious books are not widely circulated among the masses in this country, I do not know what is going to become of us as a nation. If truth be not diffused, error will be.

If God and his word are not known and received, the devil and his works will gain ascendancy. If the evangelical volume does not reach every hamlet, the pages of a corrupt and licentious literature will. If the power of the gospel is not felt throughout the length and breadth of the land, anarchy and misrule, degradation and misery of corruption and darkness will reign without mitigation or end.

I don't believe Daniel Webster would want to come back and live in America today that became his worst nightmare of a land of living hell.
