E.A. Johnston calls the church to repent from moral compromise and boldly stand for godly decency in a culture that has lost its shame.
In this prophetic sermon, E.A. Johnston challenges the church in America to confront the moral decay around them and repent from complacency. He contrasts the decency enforced in secular events like the Cannes Film Festival with the permissiveness in so-called Christian society. Johnston calls for a return to prayer, repentance, and bold proclamation of God's truth before judgment comes.

We read in the Word of God in the book of Proverbs 1434, Righteousness exalteth a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people. The recent dress code enforced at the Cannes Film Festival should be a wake-up call to us Christians when godless France has more decency than so-called Christian America and draws a line in the sand at the Cannes Film Festival and in so many words says to lewd Hollywood celebrities, Put your clothes on, you harlots, and behave with some decency and stop parading your naked flesh in public. It's embarrassing.
Enough is enough. In America today, there's no shame in our society and no moral decency and no fear of God and the land. Where is the church in America in all of this moral chaos? Why doesn't she speak up against perversion and denounce public nudity? Why does she have her head in the sand? It's an indictment against the church when the ungodly have to take a stand for decency and say enough is enough.
The judgment coming to the church in America may be heavy unless she turns back to the God of the Bible and repents of her sins to where she's not afraid to call sin black and hell hot and fear God more than man and call sinners to repentance. When will the churches in America cease being houses of entertainment and once again become houses of prayer? It's high time that the church in this country says enough is enough and calls the people to her knees in nights of solemn assembly and desperate prayer and shed some tears over her multiplied sins and by repentance cleans up her own house so she can once again stand boldly and proclaim thus saith the Lord and then call a nation to repentance to turn back to the living God of the Bible before God visits us all in judgment and says to us enough is enough.
