Jude declared that there should be mockers in the last time, who would walk after their own ungodly lusts. Is this not the time, friends? Look around you, and tell me things can't get much worse without it being hell on earth. And while the church was sleeping, the nation changed.

I repeat, while the church was sleeping, the nation changed. This can be applied to Wales. This can be applied to England.

This can be applied to Scotland and Ireland, and it can be applied to America. The world nations have steadily fallen into moral decline, while the institutional church slept on pillows of conformity. Where is the prophet among us who will shake a nation? Wales had Evan Roberts of the Welsh Revival.

George Whitefield shook two continents for Christ. Where is the moody, or Sam Jones of America, at this hour, a man who could hold the attention of tens of thousands for a month at a time, and shake an entire town for God? We need a holy man of God at this hour, to stand with one foot in heaven's throne room and the other in the halls of Congress or Parliament, and like John the Baptist call sin black and hell hot, and demand sinful man to repent and turn to a holy God. Listen, friends, what we need, as a nation, at this sad and tragic hour, is a heavenly man with an endorsement from heaven to shake this generation for God and eternity, a man who will burn with such holy fire that he will ignite all those around him, a prophet of God, who is deeply familiar with God's heart and holy character.

Oh, friends, how we should beg heaven for God to send us such a flaming firebrand, a man so full of the Holy Ghost, that his very prayers will make rulers tremble like old John Knox made bloody Mary tremble at her knees with his holy power-filled prayers, that God in his mercy will send us such a man to shake our generation for Christ and the gospel, to burn with a fervency and zeal that will make us all Christ-intoxicated as well, until we have a new intimacy with Jesus and a heavenly authority, when we witness to this hell-bent, God-hating generation. Oh, for this prophet of God to be a human instrument of revival, whereby tens of thousands are saved and a nation is turned back to God. Oh, great God, send us such a man at this hour, a man so sold out for Christ and the gospel, that he's willing to throw his life away so others won't perish, a lord of heaven.

Send us such a man whose prayers and preaching will shake the nation for your glory. Let us pray.
