When the ocean roars and your boat fills with water, God is still faithful. When your church throws you out on your ear and the deacons turn against you, God is still faithful. When the very earth beneath you gives way and you cannot stand, God is still faithful.
When all the news you get is bad, God is still faithful. When you don't have the means to pay your bills and you are in despair, God is still faithful. When you lose your home and become homeless, God is still faithful.
When a loved one is torn away from you, God is still faithful. When friends forsake you and desert you, God is still faithful. When your spouse is unfaithful to you, God is still faithful.
When Satan whispers in your ear that God no longer cares, God is still faithful. God was faithful to King David when David was unfaithful to him. Jesus was faithful to Peter when Peter was unfaithful to him.
God is faithful to you, friend, even when you are unfaithful to him. For my Bible says if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Jesus was faithful to the Father as He set His face towards the cross and remained on that cross as a sacrifice for sin.
And to the believer, Jesus is a faithful friend. He will never fail you or disappoint you. He will never let you down or ever let you go.
And God's faithfulness is fresh every morning. For my Bible declares, It is if the Lord's mercies we are not consumed because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning.
Great is thy faithfulness. And my Bible also declares, God is faithful by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. God is faithful, friend.
You can count on Him. His word is true and He is true to His word. And I can promise you this, friend, Jesus is not only worthy, He is worth it.
Let us pray.
