Gathering as House Churches During the Current Time of Apostasy

Thank you again for joining me. I would like to discuss today the gathering of believers under the headship of the Lord Jesus Christ. There is a famine of the Word of God in the land.

Many, many churches now only teach part of the Bible that itching ears want to hear. Many teach the Word of God for gain. Many teach the Word of God to become acceptable to the crowd so that the crowd might come into their house.

But beloved, we live in these difficult times, yet Christ's heart and God's heart is weeping because these, many of them false prophets, do not give you the truth. And beloved, we must return to the truth of the Word of God. We need not to forsake the assembling ourselves.

We can get together and use the Word of God to guide us and to teach us in the way we ought to go. We can gather as believers under the headship of Jesus Christ. We can gather in homes.

We can gather in other places. We can get together. But the Word of God says, be ye separate.

Come out from among them. If they're not teaching you the Word of God, beloved, you need to leave your current place of worship and join with believers who still teach the Word of God. That might be other churches or if you cannot find a church then we do ask you to leave your current church and pray about forming your own gathering for believers under the headship of the Lord Jesus Christ.

This will help true believers to prepare for the coming persecution. This will encourage true believers to gather under the Christ. This will provide you help to live day by day in accordance with the Word of God.

Perhaps now you live the Word of God for one day a week and comes Monday. It's a blue Monday for you. You return to your old ways, but this is not what God intends.

He wants us to live by his Word day by day and have the fullness of his love, joy, and peace. And then it will unify the believers who have been separated by many different denominations. There are some 40,000 denominations in the world today and this has divided Christendom to a large extent.

So we are not proposing another denomination here. We're simply saying let us gather based on the Word of God. Let us gather based on the Gospels.

Let us gather based on the Book of Acts. Let us gather based on the letters that are in the New Testament and also all of the Word of God in the Old Testament. Our lives ought to reflect the power of God.

Our lives ought to reflect his Holy Spirit. We ought to be shining with God and walking in his Word and we need help with each other in order to achieve that. And again, I'd like to draw your attention to the underground churches of the world.

God's power is released in their meetings to heal, to save, to deliver from evil. The Word spoken there often is accompanied by signs and wonders. That is what Scripture says ought to happen.

They are changed. They are seated with Christ in heavenly places even as they sing and even as they worship. They have joy despite great persecution.

Beloved, won't you return to the Word of God? Won't you return to the headship of Jesus Christ? Won't you come into his arms because he is that great shepherd who loves his sheep. He will hold you in his arms and through his Holy Spirit he will guide you in the way you ought to go. Thank you for watching.
