Thank you for joining me. My name is Edgar Reich and I am called by the will of God for revival. This appeal is for you and your congregation to consider praying for revival in times when the enemy is coming in like a flood into our nations of North America.
If you are a pastor, bishop, elder, or leader of a Bible-believing congregation, may I urge you to lead your congregation to appeal to our Most High God for revival. That is our only hope. What is required? No great revival has ever started without prayer and fasting.
God wants us to humble ourselves, to pray, to seek his face, and to turn from our wicked ways. 2nd Chronicles 7 verse 14. So why is it required? Well, God wants to restore our relationship with him through his Son.
He wants to have a relationship with the family of God, with our fellow man. And so we must pray for mercy. Perhaps God will yet relent of judgments which have started.
And I'll explain some of these judgments in a few moments. Who is called? Every true Christian, every Bible-believing pastor, bishop, leader, church congregation, and every Bible-believing denomination. In Matthew chapter 16 verse 3, Christ Jesus admonished religious leaders to understand the times they are in.
He called them hypocrites. Jesus said, you know how to discern the weather, but you don't know the signs of the times. What are the signs of our times? Well, the enemy is coming in like a flood in North America.
Hell's gates have opened wide. The prophet Hosea said, hear the word of the Lord, and I'm referring to Hosea chapter 4 verse 3, where God said, Because of this, the land dries up, and all who live in it waste away. The beasts of the field, the birds of the sky, and the fish in the sea are swept away.
God said in other words through Hosea, animals will die because of sin. We see many animal species disappearing, including bees, who are essential to helping to produce fruit and other crops. We see fish dying in the oceans.
In Hosea chapter 4 verse 6, God said, My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests. Because you have ignored the laws of our God, I also will ignore your children.
Here God says in verse 6 that the Bible will be misrepresented through rejecting true knowledge. If you do that as a priest, God rejects you. Then God said something that affects all of us very much.
He said, I will forget your children if you ignore me and my laws. We now see this in the new generations of young people in North America who are turning massively against Christianity. We have caused this.
We have taken prayer out of school. We have taken the Bible out of school. We have taken the commandments out of the schools.
Materialism kept both parents working and God's truth was not taught to the children. So God says, you forget me, I'm ignoring your children. What a terrible judgment.
Satan has been working in government and in the military. No Christian God is necessary, they say. The name of the Son of God, Jesus Christ, is forbidden.
No Christian prayer is wanted. Then Satan is working on a global anti-Christ spirit. Many say that the Son of God is not the only way to God.
They say there are many ways to God. The Pope speaks openly to unbelieving atheists, do good and that will get you to heaven. Beloved, if you know the Bible and the Bible is true, billions will go to hell who believe and follow this false teaching.
Open sin is being introduced into many churches and denominations. At the same time, the Bible believing pastors, Christians, and churches have not raised up a standard. We are sleeping beauty.
It is nearly too late. We have killed over 60 million babies in North America and does God stand by forever? Our tears have dried up. Our hearts become hard as stone.
Billions are going to hell but it no longer concerns us. The persecuted and those dying for Jesus are too far away for us to pray for them, to weep for them. They have started to pray for us sending missionaries from third world nations.
We have a flood of adultery and living common law. We have a flood of legalized homosexuality. We have a flood of legalized pornography with an estimated 70% of all men and 30% of women now addicted in North America.
Home shootings, school shootings, street shootings, cop shootings, and murder suicides abound. Gambling, drinking, power, the love of money, and criminal behavior have stripped away decency and morals. Most of North America now lives a life without God.
Another door of evil has opened recently with the legalization of drug use and marijuana use. The latter leads to harder drugs. We are in the midst of seeing our nations destroyed by legalized drug use.
God tells us the times we are in but we are blind and wretched and silent. We have eaten the poisoned fruit and are lying in a casket like dead. We are sleeping beauty.
In Romans chapter 1 God states his wrath against sinful humanity and gives us the current weather report. I will refer to a few verses. Let us start with Romans chapter 1 verses 18 to 20 and I'm using an NIV translation for easier understanding of those that are young.
The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people who suppress the truth by their wickedness. Since what may be known about God is plain to them because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities, his eternal power and his divine nature have been clearly seen being understood from what has been made so that people are without excuse.
They are without excuse. In Romans chapter 1 verses 24 to 27 God says now as a result of that I'm going to give them over to shameful lusts. And here's what it says in Romans 1 24 to 27.
Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshipped and served created things rather than the Creator who is forever to be praised. Amen.
Because of this God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the man also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another.
Men committed shameful acts with other men and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. And then in Romans chapter 1 28 to 32 God says that he has given people over to a depraved mind. They're no longer able to reason.
They're no longer able to think straight anymore. God said I'm giving them over to a depraved mind. Furthermore, and this is verse 28 of Romans chapter 1, furthermore just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God so God gave them over to a depraved mind so that they do what ought not to be done.
They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed, and depravity. They fall of envy, murder, strife, deceit, and malice. They're gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant, and boastful.
They invent ways of doing evil. They disobey their parents. They have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy.
Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death. They not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. Beloved Christians, beloved pastors, bishops, and leaders, Jesus is asking you and me, can you discern the signs of the times in North America from Romans chapter 1? Can you discern the weather? God has given us over to shameful lusts and judgment as part of it.
The Azusa revival began where every revival should rightly begin in repentant tears. It began in tears, it lived in tears, and when the tears ended, the Azusa revival ended, said A.G. Osterberg. David Smithers asks, are you truly a spirit-filled Christian? Does the term spirit-filled describe your doctrine or your devotion? Many do not recognize the fact as they ought that Satan has got man fast asleep in sin, and that is his great device to keep them so, says, said Catherine Booth.
During the time of Hitler most of 14,000 evangelical pastors in Germany chose compromise and sought refuge in neutrality. Most even put the swastika into their churches. Pastors Bonhoeffer and Niemöller led a minority of pastors who would not accept Hitler as their God.
They and some 800 pastors went to concentration camps or jails. Most of the German Christian population did not cry out for Jesus Christ nor for their pastors. Because of this, Pastor Bonhoeffer felt that the German pastors and Christians were responsible for millions upon millions of death.
Dietrich Bonhoeffer was hanged on April 9th, 1945, just before the end of the Second World War. Pastor Niemöller said, God gave free hand to Satan. God let Satan lose to separate the chaff from the wheat.
In the Stuttgart Declaration of Guilt on October 19th, 1945, the Council of Evangelical Churches in Germany confessed guilt for its inadequacies in opposition to the Nazis, Hitler, and the Third Reich. The German Christian Declaration states, in part, we accuse ourselves for not standing to our beliefs more courageously, for not praying more faithfully, for not believing more joyously, and for not living more ardently. Political correctness now in North America demands silence, letting millions go to hell without knowing about Jesus and the way of salvation ordained by God.
The church in North America is largely silent and is following the German church before the time of Hitler. We are asleep. We will soon face more choices between good and evil for which we are not prepared.
Who will prepare? Who will say something? Who will cry out? Are there no watchmen on the wall? Am I myself steeped in compromise or am I not prepared to take up my cross and follow Jesus? Am I a watchman on the wall? A watchman is not a watchman if he does not cry out to all, including unbelievers. God has commenced judgment against North America. Perhaps there's yet time to repent and cry out for revival.
Will you cry out with me? Will you and I pray and stand in the gap against a tsunami of evil? May God have mercy on us. Won't we at least pray to God, asking him to rend the heavens and come down in revival and change this environment? Is there no one that is prepared to be a living sacrifice? Why should God send fire from heaven onto the altar if there are no sacrifices on the altar? According to the Christian Post, there are over 300,000 Protestant churches in America in 2016. How many of us will pray for revival? Will we end up having to declare our guilt before living God as the German pastors did? If we stay quiet and don't pray fervently for revival, what will God say? What will he say if we don't at least cry out to him? In Ezekiel chapter 3 verse 18, God answered and said, when I say to the wicked, you shall surely die and you give him no warning nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way to save his life.
That same wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand, at your hand, at my hand. The Lord will provide us with his power and strength to do that which we cannot do ourselves. The prophet Isaiah said, he gives power to the weak and to those who have no might he increases strength.
Isaiah chapter 40 verse 29. The prophet Micah said, but truly I'm full of power by the Spirit of the Lord and of justice and might to declare to Jacob his transgression and to Israel his sin. Micah chapter 3 verse 8. In 2nd Chronicles chapter 16 verse 9, the Lord encourages us and there it says, for the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to him.
Will you and I act in the way God will lead us or will we see compromise and neutrality as the German pastors did, but for me in my house we will stand on the Lord's side. Will you and I act and do? God wants to show himself strong on your and my behalf. Will you act and do? Thank you for listening.
The Lord be with you. Thank you.
