(Clip) Losing the Anointing and Walk with God through Sexual Immorality

Edgar Reich · 3:14

Edgar Reich warns that sexual immorality leads to losing God's anointing and power, emphasizing that this spiritual decline is relevant today as illustrated by Samson's downfall and Paul's teaching in Romans.
This sermon delves into the story of Samson, highlighting his downfall due to deception and loss of strength, emphasizing the critical point in one's life where they may lose the anointing and spirit of God. Drawing parallels to contemporary times, the sermon explores the concept of God giving individuals up to their sinful desires as seen in Romans 1:24-28, leading to a debased mind and departure from God's truth.

So Satan tried to kill Samson, and Samson is holding on by a thin thread. He lies three times to Delilah about his strength, but later on he falls. We don't know the time when he goes too far. Samson lost his strength. He lost his anointing. He lost the spirit of the Most High God. He lost the power of the Almighty God. When is that point in your life when that happens? Does it still happen today? You say, no, no, no, no, it doesn't happen today. It's only told about us in the Old Testament. But beloved, let us read from Romans chapter 1, verses 24 to 28. Romans chapter 1, 24 to 28. And there it says, therefore, God also gave them up. What? What? And therefore, God also gave them up to uncleanness in the lusts of their hearts to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who have changed the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason, God gave them up. For this reason, God gave them up. It's in the New Testament. He gave them up to vile passions, for even the women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise, also the man, leaving the natural use of the woman burned in their lust for one another. Man with man, committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of the error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to a warped mind, to a mind that does not function properly anymore. These are some of the saddest verses in the Bible, beloved. God gave them up. God gave them over to a debased mind that can no longer think straight. This is now true for Canada and for the United States, beloved. And if I give these verses in the future, if I talk about these things in the future, I will go to jail. But this is, this is his word. That's God's word. I cannot detract from it. I must tell you the truth. I cannot run with the crowd. I must tell you the truth.
