Thank you, grandkids, for joining me again. This is another story from your grandpa. And again, friends, thank you for joining me.
I'm a Christian now. By the grace and mercy of God, I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior, and I knew, and things I knew in my life. And after one year of being a Christian in 2005, I was in prayer.
And during prayer, there was a still small voice where God said, I'm calling you for full-time Christian service. And I said, No, no, no, God, how can you call a man like me? I'm so evil. I have done so many things wrong.
How could you possibly use me? I have no church connections. I know no one. And God would not give up.
And he repeated that he had called me, and then he gave me passages in Scripture. And the passage in Scripture that he gave me was 1 Samuel chapter 10, verse 6. And there it says, Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you, and you will prophesy with them, and be turned into another man. I did not like this passage as it was given to King Saul.
And I said to the Lord, Lord, is this really from you for me? I don't want to turn against you as King Saul did. And then the gave me a further word and a confirmation. And he gave me 2 Samuel chapter 7, verse 15.
And in there, in this verse, it was actually a verse for King David and his son, King Solomon. And there, God said in this verse, But my mercy shall not depart from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I removed before you. So I said, But Lord, I have a big job.
I'm busy. Lord, what are you calling me for? And I said, You're called by the will of God for revival, to share with others that I will revive the lukewarm. I will revive the backslidden.
I will revive the church living in sin, even as you lived in sin. So go and do my work. And I said, But Lord, I don't know where to start or what to do.
And so I started to study my Bible. And just then my job was taken away. We had met with the corporation I was with, and we had major competition from China.
And they were bringing in product by a shipload and in competition in America. And the company in America would not survive without major reinvestment. And the reinvestment money would come from selling all foreign corporations that I was running.
So essentially, I would be without a job. And so even as that happened, God provided. And I was able to study the Bible for three years, almost 12 to 14 hours per day, and to build up my knowledge of the Word of God.
And I've worked through the Bible each verse four and a half times. During this time, I was still permitted to remain with the corporation and even had an office provided. And we also started a Bible study in that corporation.
And at Christmas time, we had over 100 people come to a service inside that company. So praise God, God blessed. And then, however, I was not moving towards what I was supposed to be doing.
And after that period of time in 2008, there was a chaplain that I met with every day for prayer. And he started shouting at me, he said, you must do the Word of God, you must do what you're called to do. And I said, but I have no contacts, I don't know what to do.
But I was very upset. After we prayed, I went back to my room, and I entered on my computer, the word revival. What came up was Wall Street Revival, New York, Pastor Bruce Berliner.
I said, Lord, am I supposed to contact this man? And there was no answer. The next morning, Friday morning, I had a man's prayer breakfast at 6am in the morning. So I went to that man's prayer breakfast, I went to a table towards the end of the room, and there was a man sitting there already.
And I said, Good morning. And he said to me, Good morning, Pastor. And I said, No, no, I'm not a pastor.
And I became somewhat angry, because in business, people would try and tell you things to get your attention, to get your business. And I thought there was a purpose here, but a wrong purpose. And this man looked at me, and he said, Well, perhaps you don't know it yet, but you are called of God.
And yes, you are a pastor. And I answered with a testy voice, and who might you be? And he said, My name is Pastor Bruce Berliner, from Wall Street Revival, New York. I had not seen this man's face.
But when he said it, it was the same name from the computer from the afternoon on Thursday afternoon. And when he said that, I became so afraid of God. Yes, God is real.
God is alive. And as this pastor started talking, he said, You know, I don't want to be here. The Holy Spirit got me out of bed early this morning.
Shortly after four, I had to get up. And I had to come to this meeting. And I don't know why I'm here.
I have two churches to take care of. I have a funeral this morning. I don't want to be here.
Why am I here? And I was so afraid at that point. I was not able to tell him. But I called him up two weeks later.
And I said, Pastor Bruce Berliner, would you have time for lunch? And I told him my story. And he said, You are called of God. You must do what he has told you to do.
And so I'm proceeding with revival. I'm proceeding with personal revival. I'm proceeding with corporate revival, because God has willed for us to do so.
So thank you for watching. But God is real. He can use your life, my life.
Maybe you feel you're a failure. Nothing can ever happen good to you. Well, try the Lord Jesus Christ, I beg you.
Try to give your life to the Son of God. Try to make peace with God. You will never, never regret it.
Thank you for watching. The Lord be with you. Goodbye.
