We're gathering people together because I really believe that God has given David and I a message. All right, what does it mean when Jesus says, all authority in heaven and earth has been given to me, therefore go and make disciples? How can that command be central in our lives? This is what the future of the church really needs to be and we just want to explain that biblically in such a way that we all hear it and go, yeah, that's clearly the word of God and that we pass this on to everyone we know who calls himself a follower of Jesus Christ. Wherever you can join together with other believers who are saying, okay, we want to be serious about what it means to be a disciple, what it means to make disciples.

We want to obey the command of Christ. We want to experience the purpose of Christ. We've got to start getting serious about getting out and at least trying to make disciples, to get out and be more expressive with what we believe in our hearts.

And so as we're all convicted individually, it's about gathering us all together and having this sense of, yeah, we all believe this. We want to be united in this message and all trumpet this together. This is what we want to be a part of and so the whole goal of that gathering is to reflect that, to encourage one another that night.

As we leave, let's leave with a confidence, let's leave with a practical plan of how we're actually going to reach our neighbors, our coworkers. It's a sense of resolve, like I'm not going to let anything stop me. Jesus will be with us as he promises in Matthew chapter 28, verse 20, and he's going to give us the power to do this and we are going to be a part of the accomplishment of this mission.
