The sermon emphasizes the importance of prayer and mission mobilization to reach those who have not yet heard about Jesus.
George Verwer emphasizes the urgency of prayer and action in the mission field, drawing inspiration from Acts 13 and Matthew 9. He calls upon God to send forth laborers into the harvest, urging believers to become senders and intercessors to reach the remaining 25% of the world that has yet to hear about Jesus. Verwer highlights the importance of mobilizing the church to plant communities of faith among all peoples globally, reinforcing the need for collective effort in fulfilling the Great Commission.

Let us pray. Our God and Father, we thank you that once again we've had this opportunity, like two passing trains in the night, to meet together and to stop and open your word. And we thank you for these mega-motivating words from your word in Acts 13.
And we would pray in obedience to Matthew chapter 9, O God, that you would send forth, just as you sent Paul and Barnabas, that you would send forth laborers, workers, into the harvest, locally and across the globe. And that you would raise up the senders, the intercessors, the mission mobilizers, to make this a reality that that remaining 25% may soon at least hear or read about Jesus. And that after that the church might be planted among every peoples in every part of the world.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
