The miracle of the Red Sea demonstrates God's power and deliverance, and establishes faith and trust in Him.
In this sermon, the speaker emphasizes the miraculous nature of the Israelites' crossing of the Red Sea. He highlights that this event was a demonstration of God's power and a fulfillment of His purpose for the Israelites. The speaker argues that it is impossible to explain this event through natural means and that it should be accepted as a miracle. He acknowledges that there may be those who try to explain it naturally, but he firmly believes that the biblical account presents it as a supernatural event.

And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen. And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared. And the Egyptians fled against it, and the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.
And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the hosts of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them. There remained not so much as one of them. Now, and I've read all of this purposely because this is an account that needs to be looked at rather closely as we've attempted to do this, that what you have, friends, is a miracle.
Now, there's no natural way of explaining it. And I recognize that we have many good men today. And when I say good, they're conservative men.
They believe in the Word of God, and they believe they're saved by faith alone in Christ. But they want to explain this in some natural way. I don't think that when you read this record that you could do that.
God says, here's a miracle. You either take it or you leave it. And I think that's the way He puts it down in His Word.
Now notice verse 29. But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea, and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand and on their left. Now, don't you see that this is a miracle? Twice now this has been made clear to us.
They walked on dry land in the midst of the sea, and the waters were a wall unto them their right hand and their left. You can't explain that on a natural basis. Verse 30, Thus the Lord saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians.
And Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the seashore. And Israel saw that great work which the Lord did upon the Egyptians. And the people feared the Lord and believed the Lord and His servant Moses.
Now, you see, this was the purpose of this, that at the beginning of this wilderness march, they now see the power of God. He delivered them by blood out of Egypt. He delivers them by power.
And now that is demonstrated as they cross the Red Sea.
