Blessed are the ones who for the sake of Christ our Lord, suffer persecution in this dark and godly world. Surely theirs is God's kingdom, this is true. Those who see the glory is not theirs, but unto God it's due.
Let your light so shine, you men of God, through trial and toil and snare. Bless all they that curse you, all who mop and scorn and stare. Hated you will be by all who once were friends, and you will be delivered who endure until the end.
Do not seek to save your life, but to God's word be bound. For selfish right cannot compare to martyr's crown. Amen.
