Welcome to the Lord's Challenge with Joshua Daniel. The Layman's Evangelical Fellowship International is a ministry reaching people from all walks of life since 1935. After a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ at the age of 16, Joshua Daniel has been declaring the marvelous deliverance from sin, which is freely given to all those who turn to the Loving Savior.

From small villages to large cities, in many parts of the globe, through revival meetings, literature, radio, internet, and television, Joshua Daniel has been tirelessly laboring, trusting God to supply all that is needed. Wherever this message has gone out, broken relationships have been restored, sickness healed, ill-gotten money returned, and thieves turn into givers. We now invite you to watch and receive the invaluable blessing that God has for you.

My dear friends, you know, we are tending to become very intellectual. You know, the armchair kind of Christianity. The armchair, the lazy boy Christianity.

You know, everything is fine with me, Jack. I'm okay as I am. I want to say, unless we live in continual revival, that is, our hearts must be getting warmed.

Did not our hearts burn within us while he spoke to us? Yes. If our hearts don't keep burning, you know, you must know the strategy to just level you off, cool you down, put you in the freezer. My dear friends, so that he has no fear that you're a threat to his kingdom.

What a state. And people are happy enough to have that kind of religion. Really, friends, while we say we are the friends of God, I'm afraid we are making the devil pretty happy.

I see no way by which we can be worth our salt or worthy of the name of Jesus without overpowering and overthrowing these powers of darkness. And they are all around us. They are blinding people.

You see, just this one idea which has become so prevalent about marriage. If it works, fine. If it doesn't work, fine.

My what kind of marriage is that? Not a Christian marriage anyway. Now this is the idea that has gone so deep into people that people have told me, you know my pastor says, look out for some nice girl in the congregation. You don't fit together and marry her.

So your promises at the altar are utterly worthless. Or in fact, they're lies. Since there has not been that commitment to say, I will humble myself.

I will make this marriage to work. I'm not going to be a part of these dreadful statistics. I'm not going to put this kind of burden on my children nor grieve God.

There is no such commitment. Just think of it. And with all our preaching and all our meetings and all our big evangelistic dues, I call them circuses.

If the disarray and to real flight. I don't think we are really, we don't know our business. We are not doing it.

We love to be on the surface and that's all that we expect of ourselves and from the resurrection of Jesus. All power is given to me in heaven and in earth. Now we have shut that part out of our thinking.

What a tragedy. So I'm thinking of quality, my dear friends. The devil is trying to whittle down the quality.

I see it and I see how people are perfectly satisfied. Well, you can help it. You see, that's how it goes.

Everybody's doing this and just total compromise. No. Having put my foot forward, I am not going to step back.

I am not going to knuckle under to the devil's devices. So here we are. We are faced with an awful situation when history is being rewritten.

That's why I don't like people without commitment these days at all. I say the 10,000 of these people don't count for a hill of beans. They come and go.

They want the benches. That's about all that they do. What's the good of such people? Even if they lived 10,000 years, they would accomplish nothing.

Quality. I will be like Jesus. I will hear the voice of my Savior.

You know, in the Garden of Eden, in the cool of the evening, cool of the day, the voice of God was heard in the garden. And Adam and Eve hid themselves.
