Now, you know these evening meetings continue until Sunday. And do invite your neighbors and your friends. Now, in John, in the good news of which John the Apostle, a disciple of Jesus, gave us 12th chapter, Jesus speaks of the hour, the hour, the hour.
23rd verse, Jesus answered them saying, the hour is come, that the son of man, this is how he described himself. The son of God becoming the son of man. Why? In order to die for you and me as the propitiation, the priesthood body for our sins.
The son of man should be glorified. He called that hour of death, the glory hour. You know, I have faced death many times.
But, never was there fear in my heart. Because, the Lord Jesus had forgiven my sins. I trusted in his priesthood body, propitiatory death.
You know, when you are so close to death, and my heart actually stopped. And the bleeding from my heart was everywhere. But, before I went into that serious operation a few months ago, there was no fear.
The surgeon in Cleveland, who operated, he sat with me, and he said, you can have a stroke, you might have a heart attack, this could happen, that could happen. Because, they knew that this was a serious and critical operation. But, what Jesus said, I am the resurrection and the life.
Now, with those words in my heart, I went into, you know, under the anesthesia, I was off. So, anyway, all of us have to meet that hour. No one can escape that hour.
But, the Lord Jesus called it the glory hour. And in the 27th verse, now is my soul troubled. What shall I say? Father, save me from this hour.
But, for this cause, came I unto this hour. Look at that. I came for this hour.
This is the hour of priesthood bully. And this is the hour when I take the sins of man upon my sinless body. The very prospect must have made anyone who was so pure, shrink.
See, friends, I could produce a lie in a moment. I had a wonderful machine up here, produced hypocrisy and lies. But, no lie was in Jesus Christ.
There was no guile in Him. He was without sin. He did no sin.
In Him, there was no sin. No man walked like Him. No man was sinless like Him.
I just looked at the headlines of the newspaper today. And it said, Nepal may abolish its monarchy. Now, the king of Nepal was an autocrat.
