Keith Malcomson clarifies the biblical identity of Gog and Magog, emphasizing the need for Christians to respond with mercy and unity rather than demonization amidst current geopolitical conflicts.
This sermon delves into the distinction between Ezekiel's war involving Gog and Magog and the final battle of Gog and Magog in Revelation 20. It clarifies that Gog is not the Antichrist, Ezekiel's war is not Armageddon, and there are two separate wars involving Gog and Magog separated by a thousand years. The sermon emphasizes the need to pray for Russia, Ukraine, and the Muslim world, highlighting the importance of love, mercy, and charity towards all nations.

Here tonight I want you again to turn with me to Ezekiel chapter 38 as we read last week. I want to continue for a little bit more, hopefully I can keep it brief and we'll go into a time of prayer if I can, but sometimes you just don't know how these things will go. I want to be brief, I want to be concise, I want to be to the point, I want to make three points again in relation to Russia and Magog.
My message here tonight is an extension, but it's not a complete full message. I'm not going to cover everything I can do or ought to or would like to, I just want to condense it down. So please, either online or here, if you're not convinced by what I say tonight, please know I'm just pulling out a point.
I could say an awful lot on all three of these points to convince, to persuade, to lay out my arguments, but I don't want to do that. That's done elsewhere. I just want to be concise in dealing things that I believe are passing through the body of Christ over the past week.
While this conflict with Russia and Ukraine are going on, Christians, believers pick up popular opinions and ideas and they get carried with it. So I want to deal with three of them tonight and my message tonight is Gog and Magog clarified. If per chance online you come to this message, you must listen last week or else this will be out of place.
So last week we dealt with is Russia in Bible prophecy? And I hope I laid that out. Again, I didn't lay out everything that I could have last week, but I hope that I laid out the main reasons of why I am fully persuaded that Russia is Magog in Bible prophecy. Reading from Ezekiel chapter 38 from verse one, And the word of the Lord came unto me saying, Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshach and Tabul, and prophesy against him.
And say, Thus saith the Lord God. Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshach and Tabul, and I will turn thee back and put hooks in thy jaws and I will bring thee forth and all thine army, horses, horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armor, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords, Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them, all of them with shield and helmet, Gomer and all his bands, the house of Togomorah of the north quarters and all his bands and many people with thee. Be thou prepared and prepare for thyself, thou and all thy company that are assembled unto thee and be thou a guard unto them.
After many days thou shalt be visited in the latter years, thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword and is gathered out of many people against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste, but it is brought forth out of the nations and they shall dwell safely, all of them. Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm. Thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou and all thy bands and many people with thee.
Thus saith the Lord God, it shall come to pass that at the same time that shall things come into thy mind and thou shalt think an evil thought and thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages. I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all them dwelling without walls and having neither bars nor gates to take a spoil and to take a prey, to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods and that dwell in the midst of the land, Shedna and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish with all the young lands thereof shall say unto thee, art thou come to take a spoil? Hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey, to carry away silver and gold and to take away cattle and goods to take a great spoil? Let's pray together. Father, we thank you for the encouragement of the word of God in the midst of disruption in the nations, Lord God, in these uncertain times, Lord God, where the economy is all over the place, where oil prices and fuel prices are rising, when the price of bread is going to begin to rise, in an hour, oh God, where we're concerned over finance and safety, over wars and rumors of wars, over what is happening with our own governments, with tyranny rising on every hand, Lord God, we do thank you for the word of God, for the encouragement of Bible prophecy.
We don't come here tonight to be, Lord God, entertained, but we come to be encouraged in a very wicked hour, Lord God, in an hour where hearts can fear, where thoughts can arise, Lord God, where emotions can dominate. We thank you for the clarity of God's word to settle our heart, to bring us to a place where we realize our redemption draweth nigh, where you command us to look up, to not be afraid, to not be terrified, to not set our eyes upon these things, to not have our eyes fixed on ourselves, but to have our eyes fixed on the Lord Jesus Christ. Will you encourage us tonight that you're a God that knew these things 2,600 years ago, that you're a God that is involved in the nations now, that you raise up nations and that you dash nations down, never to be found again.
Lord God, that you know the future, that you hold history in your hand. Lord God, that you're working out your plan and your purpose in all of these things, that you are the God of all creation, and you said in the midst of these prophecies in Ezekiel that all of these things are prophesied, that you're bringing them to pass, that we might know that you are God. Will you move one last time in this generation for your name's sake, in Jesus' mighty name.
Amen. In part one last Wednesday night, we identified Gog and Magog. Here tonight, I want to clarify about Gog and Magog.
That's why my title is Gog and Magog Clarified. Last week we saw, I hope, I persuaded or convinced or maybe raised questions to those that watch online who maybe doubt that Russia is Magog. So at least I want to bring people to the Word of God.
When we go to this prophecy, we begin to see a remarkable prophecy, something about its time and its place, the nations. Specific details are given, even about the war, what happens. I can't wait to teach on this one of these days, it won't be now, about what happens during the war, how Magog is defeated and all of its forces.
We have an entire chapter of exact detail. The nations are mentioned by name. Do you know how impossible it would be that 2,600 years ago to name these nations, these peoples, to name them, put them together and to actually prophesy what they will be doing at a certain point in world history.
Do you know how utterly impossible that could actually be? Yet we have a Bible that does that time after time after time after time. This is only one prophecy. We have tried to deal with numbers of prophecies.
This ought to give us an awesome awareness of who our God is and of all of world history and of the future. It ought to give us a real perspective. It is utterly amazing.
And so when we begin to look at Magog being the Scythians of ancient history, we can read about all the Greek writers, historians, and poets from the 7th to the 5th or 7th to the 3rd century BC before Christ. I don't like going I hate all of that. I'm sticking with BC.
That's why I'm always going to say that. It's not lack of education. It's a rejection of contemporary education.
I don't like it. I'm not going to conform. So call me whatever.
I'm sticking with the historic way of looking at this. But all the Greek writers identified the Scythians, the region. They wrote about the terror of that great people, that mass that mastered the horse, great tribes that moved together.
Do you realize the Greeks feared that people called Magog or the Scythians? So did Assyria. So did China. So did Armenia.
So did all of these so-called civilized nations of the Mediterranean and the Middle East. All of them knew that the great enemy were the hordes of Magog, the Scythian races that invaded them, that traded with them, that acted as mercenaries for them. It was the fear of the whole Mediterranean was this people to the north in darkness that could come flooding down at any time.
And so all the Greek historians wrote about them and gave exact details. So did the Persian historians. And then archaeology in our own generation has dug up the graves and found this amazing people.
Now there's a strong teaching in our day and generation that tries to make Magog Turkey. It tries to strongly do that. And this is the reason.
And if you research this, you'll never find Magog in Turkey. You'll never find an ancient map or an ancient record where Magog is put in Turkey. But the reason why certain Christians in this are trying to make Turkey to be Magog instead of Russia to be Magog.
And this is the reason. Because they teach the Muslim Antichrist. And they're trying to prove that Magog is a Muslim nation and not Russia.
They're trying to make it all Muslim, but you will not find that. And so my message tonight having proved about Magog and Russia and showing how they are aligned. I want to go a little bit further here tonight.
All week long for the past three weeks, you know, all I've heard on Facebook and YouTube and even from born again Christians is a hatred for Putin and attack on Russians. Do you know in English schools, school children who have a Russian parent are actually claiming at school that my parent is actually Ukrainian, not Russian in order to fit in and be praised and idolized instead of rejected and attacked. Isn't that terrible that a child would have to do that.
And then I've noticed the Christians online, how they jump on the bandwagon and they say that Putin's a tyrant and he's an evil man. And that's all I hear. Pray for Ukraine, hate Putin.
And do you know where all these nice Christians got that from over the past three weeks? Because they weren't saying that before three weeks ago. Do you know where they got it from? Our media, the same media, the same politicians, the same institutions that were trying to force a vaccine on all of us, take away our liberties over the past two years, that were putting multitudes out of their job, that didn't care anything about people, that were rising up with tyranny and abusing their own people. Those same people, politicians, institutions and media have suddenly turned the world's focus upon Russia and Putin.
And the politicians of the Western world and the media of the Western world are demonizing Putin. And I'm not justifying them and I don't like what they're doing, but they are trying to demonize Putin and they're demonizing the Russian people. You see how they're closing bank accounts.
They even pulled McDonald's out of Russia and went, good for you Russia, you'll be a lot better without McDonald's across your nation. That's no great loss. I'd be saying, yeah, yeah, you just stay in America.
Don't bother coming back again. Your shops won't be here when you get back. It's gone.
So we as a church need to be very careful. Do you know it's the media, it's a media, a Western media under the control of a Western political system that's going to lead into anti-Christ government. And if you demonize Putin, I assure you in these few weeks, what there is, is a mass agenda.
Do not be a part of it. Listen, before I go to my three points here, did I say I was going to be brief? And before I go to my three points here, I want you to turn very quickly to Colossians chapter three and verse 10. We as the church, you as a Christian, what is to be your response on media, on Facebook, on YouTube, with friends concerning Russia, the Scythians? I told sister Hannah earlier, I said, I'm going to preach on Russia and the New Testament tonight.
Do you know Russia is in the New Testament mentioned explicitly? Do you know that? Colossians chapter three, verse 10, listen very carefully. You'll wonder where I'm going until I get to verse 11. Colossians three, verse 10, and have put on the new man.
So look what the new man is. I want you to see what is a Christian to do in this hour, in this week, concerning what's happening in world media. Put on the new man.
It's talking to Christians, to the church. Put on the new man in relation to world media, political situations, war and rumors of war. What does he look like? It says, which is renewed in knowledge, dealing with your mind after the image of him that created him.
So what does this new man look like that you're to put on? It's to be an action of faith. It's to be an act of your will, where there is neither Greek nor Jew. Now look at that.
The Jew is the absolute anathema of the Greek. They are opposites, Greek or Jew. One stands for wanting signs, the other for knowledge.
But the Greek and the Jew can never be reconciled apart from in Christ. But look what Paul said, if you put on the new man, you don't make a difference between Jew and Gentile. I hate this in the church where they treat the Jewish Christian different than you and me.
That is terrible. That should never be in the church. The one new man in Christ, I don't care whether you're English or Scottish or Irish or Russian or Ukrainian, I don't care.
I don't care if you're a Greek or a Jew. It then says circumcision nor uncircumcision. It doesn't matter.
In this new man, if you put on the new man, it doesn't make any difference. Then notice what he says next, barbarian, scythian, bond nor free. Even if you're a slave or whether you're free, it doesn't matter in Christ.
We put on the new man. We are in Christ. So it doesn't matter whether you're a slave or you have lots of freedom, whether you live in communism or whether you live in America, it doesn't matter.
We are a new man, but it says barbarian and scythian. You see, scythian is in the New Testament. Paul the apostle is speaking about scythians in the context of the new man.
He said, put on the new man and you won't make a difference between the barbarian and the scythian. You realize in the day of Paul's day, the Greek Roman world, that everyone outside the Roman empire was considered to be a barbarian. If you're a non-Greek speaking, non-Roman citizen, you're a barbarian.
In other words, all the nations, you don't speak gobbledygook, you speak other languages, you're a barbarian. But he says barbarian and scythian. The scythian weren't just barbarians, they were a noted people, an identified people.
And so Paul makes a mark here. He says, when you come into Christ, into the church, you don't separate them out and say, you're a scythian or you're a barbarian, you're a Hun or you're Irish. There's none of that in the new man.
If you put on the new man, I'm not there demonizing Russians. I assure you, the past two, three, three weeks, a Christian who puts on the new man actively, you know what he's saying? He's not on there demonizing Putin and he's not there demonizing Russians. You know what he's doing? If he thinks Russians or Putin is an enemy, you know what he's doing? He's obeying the word of God and saying, pray for Russia, pray for Putin.
You're commanded to pray for your enemies. And so when I see a Christian getting enraged over Russia and over Putin, I go, there's something wrong. All I hear on Facebook, and you may tell me stay off it, maybe should.
But you know what, with this, when I hear Christians and they're all caught up saying, pray for Ukraine, I haven't heard one Christian say, pray for Russia. There's something terribly wrong with the church. When we get pulled in the media, pulled into the politics of the day, it goes on here having spoken about Scythian, barbarian, Greek, Jew, all of the rest.
He then says in verse 12, put on therefore as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercy. Look at this that you put on. If you put on the new man, this is what you put on, bowels of mercy, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, long-suffering, forbearing one another and forgiving one another.
If any man have a quarrel against any, even as Christ forgave you, so also you do. And above all these things, put on charity or love in action, which is the bond of perfection. I love Russia.
I pray for Russia and for Ukraine. I hate to see what's happening, but I want to tell you the Western powers that have acted with tyranny for two years and the world media that has tyrannized you and I for two years has now turned their guns on Russia and upon Putin and you, I'm warning you to be very careful of getting pulled in. That's the flesh, it's not the new man.
That's carnality, that is deception, that is ignorance, that is foolishness and you know what? You've got trapped by a media that is godless. They bombard you through the television, through the internet, through Facebook, through YouTube and you're there believing this, that the most wicked man in our world is Putin. That's a load of rubbish.
I don't believe that at all. I don't like the man. I don't admire the man.
I don't follow the man and I believe God's judgment will come on that man, but don't demonize him or make him a Hitler. Here tonight in this Gog and Magog clarified, I've already clarified a few things I hope, but I want to clarify further. This is a night of clarifying, of clearing things up because everyone's talking about Gog and Magog in relation to Russia if they believe that and what is happening or they're just talking about Russia and Ukraine.
So I want to clear things up, three things up here tonight. My first one, and I want us to be clear on this, why Gog is not the Antichrist. Why Gog in Ezekiel 38 and 39 is not the same person as the Antichrist or the little horn.
When we go to Ezekiel 38 and 39, we read the name Gog nine distinct times. Who is Gog in this Ezekiel's war? Of course I believe he is a Russian leader. He is the leader of the military attack that is going to come against Israel very soon.
Gog is not his personal name. It is a title of a man like Caesar or Kaiser or some other title, president or general. Use whatever title you want, but the name Gog is a title of a military leader.
We read in Ezekiel 38 that he is of the land of Magog. He is a Russian. This is a Russian general.
This is a Russian military leader. Three times we're told in Ezekiel's prophecy that he is spoken of as Gog. That's his title, the chief prince of Meshach and Tabul.
Last week we saw that Meshach and Tabul is Turkey. It's present day Turkey. It's mentioned in chapter 38 verse two, verse three, and then chapter 39 verse one.
This term for chief prince means top general, commander in chief, leader of their military force. And so we have a Russian who is actually the head of the Turkish military force. He is the leader.
We're not told he's the leader of Russia. We're not told he's the president of Russia. We're not told that he is the supreme commander of Magog.
We're not told that. We're actually told that he is the chief prince of the military force of Turkey. And note that very carefully.
People don't make a difference. Don't take note of that. When you begin to look at Gog, he is very different than what the Bible says about Antichrist.
You see, I do not believe the Antichrist arises from within the EU in Europe. He's not going to be a European. He's not going to be an American.
He's certainly not going to be an Irishman, though sometimes I do wonder, I have to say that. But the Antichrist is not going to be a European, a German. He's not going to be that.
Gog is identified by his nationality. He's Russian. So if Gog is the Antichrist, that means the Antichrist has to be a Russian.
That's what that would actually mean. And I do not believe that. And that's the reason why I believe what I am saying.
When you go to Daniel, and we studied this chapter by chapter, verse by verse last year, let me just remind you about how we went to Daniel chapter 11. When you go to Daniel from chapter 7 to chapter 12, we have information on the Antichrist. We read about the political system he's going to rise in the midst of.
We read about the geographical region or his nationality is stated there. We read about his history and even his religion. And we saw before he can't be a Muslim.
He will not be a Muslim. He has got to rise out of that fourth beast, that Roman political beast, a revived condition of it. He's going to rise up out of one of the regions of the old Grecian Roman empire.
We get clear details about the little horn from chapter 7 all the way through to chapter 12. It's all about Antichrist. It's identifying him.
And one of the things that talks about is his nationality in Daniel chapter 11. Do you remember what we covered last year? We said that from verse 5 to verse 35 of Daniel, we begin to deal with two of the regions of the Grecian empire, only two of them. There's four of them.
The Grecian empire under Alexander, he dies and Greece forms into four different regions. There's four heads on that beast. Then in Daniel 11, we only get two of those heads, two of those regions that get dealt with.
And as you begin to go through Daniel 11, you see that it's a very detailed prophecy about those two regions of the Grecian empire. We read about the Northern region eight times. We read about the Southern region 11 times, or the King of the North and the King of the South.
And in fact, throughout Daniel 11, we have a detailed prophecy about the King of the North fighting the King of the South. You see, North of Israel is the King of the North. South of Israel is the King of the South.
And the two of them are fighting. Israel is caught between them. Do you realize Daniel chapter 11, verse 5 to 35, it covers a period of 162 years.
It covers a period from the third to the second century BC. And it is going from generation to generation. The King of the North fights the King of the South generation after generation.
When you go into it, it's a tedious list of names, of dates, of battles, of marriages, of political intrigue. And any preacher who preaches it in detail is a very brave man, or an extraordinarily gifted, anointed, and eloquent man. Last year I cut it short and said we'll deal with it fully some other time.
I give it briefly and concisely. But in Daniel chapter 11, you have the war. Why an entire chapter in the context of the little horn that will arise at the end of time? Why are we reading about those two regions? And you remember what the two regions were.
The King of the North is the kings of Assyria. The kings of the South were the kings of Egypt. And they're fighting, and they're fighting.
And we get all these intricate details. So you know, when he talks about the King of the North, he's talking about the King of Assyria, or the King of Babylon. And he comes right the way, all the way through that teaching.
And when he gets to verse 35, he begins to deal with the Antichrist in the last days. The many Bible teachers take that information and they set it aside and say it doesn't matter. And if you do that, that means this entire chapter 11, it's a load of meaningless information.
I don't care who marries who else, with people who aren't even named. But all of that brings you down to the last days. And it talks about a time how the little horn is going to be the King of Assyria, the King of Babylon.
And the little horn is going to arise in a certain region within the old Grecian empire, within the political system of the 10 horns, or the 10 kings of last days. And he's going to arise in the Middle East, and he's going to grab power. But there's going to be a war where he invades Egypt in the last days.
And having done that, he then invades Israel. There's such exact information. And so I believe the Bible states clearly that the Antichrist is going to be from the Middle East.
He's going to be an Assyrian. I do not believe the Bible teaches that Antichrist is going to be a Russian. I don't believe that.
Neither is he going to be the general of the Turkish army. Think about it. He is noted in this prophecy.
He is the leader of a country's army. Yes, there's other nations, but the main dominant heart of his army that he rules over is Turkey. That does not line up with what the Bible says elsewhere about the Antichrist.
The Antichrist is going to be the supreme leader of military force worldwide. He will have the power to bring armies against one little nation called Israel. And so my first point is, when I hear people over the past week say that Gog is the Antichrist, I do not believe that.
You see, when Gog falls on the mountains of Israel, there is then an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Israel. Revival begins, and things continue for seven years. They bury the dead.
They burn the weapons. All of this continues on for that time period. But when Antichrist falls, Christ himself has come back.
Christ has to come back in all his glory with the armies of heaven. It's when Christ comes back, he destroys the Antichrist with the breath of his mouth. He consumes him, destroys him, and casts him into hell.
That's why I don't believe these two are the same. Gog will be a pre-runner, a precursor. I believe Ezekiel's war will happen before the rise of Antichrist or the revealing of Antichrist.
I believe it's a unique war, and Gog right now is being prepared. I've got no doubt about that. Is it Putin? I don't know.
I don't know. I really don't know. Neither do you know.
Neither does anyone on the other side of the camera know. Some may say they know, but you don't know. Putin could die the night of a heart attack.
Putin could be assassinated, and then we'll say, oh, it wasn't him after all. You see, I lived through the 80s and the 90s, and the Reagan era, and the Gorbachev era. Remember those days? And I was in the church in the 80s, and I would hear those Christians saying, Gorbachev is the Antichrist.
You know why? Their greatest argument was because he had a mark on his head. He had a birthmark, a red blotch. And you know what all these Christians said? I don't watch that man Gorbachev.
He's not normal. He's talking about peace. I don't believe he means it.
He's going to invade us. He'll come with his armies. Gorbachev is the Antichrist.
I mean, look at his forehead. It's obvious. And so when you hear that from a child all through the years, you become very careful.
You judge people's opinions. And that's why I do not believe Gog is the Antichrist. It's two different entities.
Second of all, second thing we want to clarify about this war. Why Ezekiel's war is not Armageddon? Why Ezekiel's war is not Armageddon? And it flows out of that first point. You know the Scythians that were above the Mediterranean and they would invade? They defeated Persia.
They defeated Darius. Darius's army went out to meet the Scythians. After all, they're only a rough army.
They couldn't stand against the might of Persia. Or Darius the great leader raised up by God himself. Surely those Scythians wouldn't stand a chance.
They defeated Darius. They defeated the greatest empire of the hour. These horsemen, these men that come out of the north, these hordes of horsemen came down and defeated him.
You see, when you read the history of the Scythians, they never once invaded Israel. Never. Do you know there was a buffer between the little nation of Israel and Ezekiel's day and generation? And that great horde of the Scythians, there were the Assyrians, the Babylonians, the Armenians, there were all of South Asia, there were the Greeks, there were the Chinese.
All of these great nations stood between the hordes of Scythia and the little nation of Israel. Scythia never invaded as far as Israel. And so for Ezekiel to stand up and prophesy and give a prophecy 2,600 years ago and say, out of the uttermost north is going to come a great army.
And that great army is going to be aligned with Turkey and with Libya. And it's going to be aligned with Persia or with today's Iran. Do you know how impossible that would be to think of those barbarian hordes coming down and joining with sophisticated people like the Libyans? Do you know how utterly unlikely that was? Or with those living in Asia minor? Utterly unlikely.
And yet Ezekiel stands up and he prophesies of this great war, this people coming out of the uttermost parts of the north, and they'll join to the Iranians or the Persians, and they'll join to the Turks and other nations, even as those in Ethiopia below Egypt. And they'll all come and invade Israel from the north. It was a shocking prophecy.
It would seem utterly impossible. Now, why do I think in this hour, why do I think Ezekiel's war is different than Armageddon? And an awful lot of Christians, most Christians do not make a distinction. In fact, if you ask them, when will Ezekiel's war happen? They'll go, maybe at the beginning of Daniel's 70th week, maybe in the middle of it, maybe at the end of it, maybe it's the same.
You realize it's one of the hardest wars to identify and place with other Bible prophecies. Ezekiel's war is very hard, but you see, I don't believe it's during Daniel's 70th week at all. I don't believe it's at the beginning.
I don't believe it's in the middle. I don't believe it's at the end. And it's certainly not Armageddon.
Armageddon is anti-Christ war in the Middle East, where he gathers all armies together. Why do I not think they're the same? Anti-Christ army, when he gathers it, is going to be worldwide. And it's going to surround Jerusalem.
Notice this carefully. When the anti-Christ invades halfway through Daniel's 70th week, in the middle of the seven last years, it is halfway through the seven years, he invades Israel and his armies surround the city of Jerusalem. Listen to what Jesus said in Luke chapter 21, verse 20.
And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies. And if you cross-reference that to Matthew and Mark, you see, when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel, standing where it ought not, which is the temple, the holy place, he says, when you see that, flee to the hills. But here in Luke chapter 21, he says, when you see Jerusalem compassed with armies, the city compassed with armies, notice how tied in it is.
Not at the border of Israel, not on the mountains of Israel. Remember where Russia falls, Magog falls. She doesn't get into the main nation.
She falls on the mountains of Israel, on the outskirts of boundaries of our nation. But yet anti-Christ, when he comes against Israel, his armies are going to surround the city of Jerusalem. Then listen to what Jesus says.
Then know that the desolation of Jerusalem is nigh or very near. Then let them which are in Judea, the surrounding area, when you begin to see us, flee to the mountains and let them that are in the midst of Judea, in the midst of it, depart out. Sorry, in the midst of Jerusalem, depart out and let them that are in the countries enter, not enter therein.
So Jesus says, when you see these armies gather around Jerusalem, around the city, when you see that in the last hour, he says, if you're in Jerusalem, you better get out of there very quickly. Don't you play games with us in the last hour, get out of there. And he says, if you're out in the countryside and you live somewhere else in Israel, don't you dare come into Jerusalem at that point.
Flee to the hills. And so we see with Armageddon, with the approach of the last war, our anti-Christ's invasion of Israel, it's going to start with the besiegement of Jerusalem. Do you know how long it lasts? For three and a half years.
For three and a half years, he can't conquer Jerusalem. He takes half of the city, half goes to the Gentiles, half remains in the hands of the Jews, and he can't go any further. Why not? There's two witnesses, two prophets that call down fire, that hold back the armies for three and a half years.
For three and a half years, anti-Christ's army surround Jerusalem. But notice the comparison. Ezekiel's war, or Gog's army is very different.
His army is very different. Anti-Christ's army is drawn from all nations. Gog's army is identified.
It's several distinct nations. It's restricted. It is small.
It's not a worldwide army, no Western nations. But what you see with Ezekiel's war, they are identified. And when they invade Israel, they only get as far as the mountains of Israel, and they fall there.
Do you know what the mountains of Israel is? Do you know where it is today? It's that spot that's called Palestine by some. It's that spot and area where the Palestinians are living and dwelling. The mountains of Israel were given by covenant time and time again in the Bible.
No Palestinian can claim the mountains of Israel. Not at all. No Arab can claim it.
You know why? In the Bible, that area that Palestinians are living in today was given in this Bible. You have to deny this Bible not to believe this. The Palestinians have no right to that area.
Do you know where they were before they were on that ground? It was in Israel, on Israel's land. Do you know where they were before that? Do any of yous know? Before that, and I grew up with that, some of yous will remember. When I was growing up in the 80s, you'd turn the television on, what did you see all the time? Lebanon.
War in Lebanon. Civil war. All the time, every night.
All you seen, who was in there fighting? The Palestinians. The same ones who got thrown out of Lebanon, they come over to Israel. Now they've caused trouble ever since.
And the Arabs said, you're welcome to them. That's what they said. Do you know where they were before Lebanon? They went into Jordan and tried to create a coup and try to take over.
And you know what happened? They got kicked out of there. So they got kicked out of Jordan. They got kicked out of Lebanon.
Now they're sitting on the mountains of Israel saying, this is our land. This is our ground. And there's trouble.
Do you know where Russia's going to invade? Do you see what's going to happen here? Do you see the Muslim hordes coming down upon Israel? Do you see the might of Russia joining together? And they're going to come. This Muslim amalgamation with Russian help is going to come down on what is called Palestine. And there they're going to be annihilated.
Five out of six soldiers are going to die. And that small stretch of ground, they're going to die. They're going to fall.
That army is going to fall there. Not in Ukraine. They're going to fall on the mountains of Israel.
Do you know today that Turkey that aligns itself with Russia has the 10th strongest army in the world? As far as tanks go, Turkey has the 9th biggest tank regiment in the world for the number of tanks. Russia has the biggest amount of tanks of any army in the entire world. Iran has the 11th amount.
Do you see the war that's going to line up here? That you're going to see these nations fall, their military power fall. Russia is going to fall. Iran is going to fall.
Turkey is going to fall. Islam is going to fall on the mountains of Israel. And you know what? God is behind it.
What's going to happen? You're going to get the western powers arise. You're going to get the UN arise. You're going to get the EU arise.
You're going to get America arise. You're going to get all these globalist westernized powers be glad that Russia has fallen. What an art that we are coming to.
Do you remember what Jesus said? Where are we right now? I'm watching Russia with Ukraine. Matthew 24 verse 6, we are in the beginning of sorrows. That's where we are.
This isn't going to happen during the tribulation. It's not going to. This war, Ezekiel's war of Gog and Magog, it's not going to happen during the last seven years.
I actually believe it's a part of Matthew 24, the beginning of sorrows, the lead-in to the end. Listen to what Jesus says in verse 6. And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars. Jesus is very exact here.
This is one of 10 things that is going to mark the lead-in to the last fulfillment of Bible prophecy. What is it? One of the 10 major marks to identify the beginning of sorrows is that you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars. Jesus actually identifies two things here.
Actual wars and rumors of wars that never take place, and they're as bad as one another. Actually hearing about wars, and we hear about every single year. We hear about this is going to happen, and that war is going to break out.
Remember how when Trump was in power, they called him a warmonger. Remember the Irish media did, and the Western media? Remember everything he'd done? Speaking to North Korea, and they'd say, you're going to start a war with North Korea. You're going to destroy all of us.
It didn't happen. You didn't hear from the leader of North Korea ever again. And that happened time after time after time.
And our Irish media, bright sparks they are. They said Trump is a warmonger. He wants to start a war.
He's going to annihilate us all. What have we seen since Biden got in? And look at our EU. Do you know what they've done? They provoked Putin.
Do you know the last time that Russia stood too with all of its military power? Do you know the last time, the election when the vote was between Mrs. Clinton and Trump? Do you know on the eve of election, and I told you about this at the time, leading up to the election, Putin got his entire army to stand too, and he'd been building his military force. You know why? He said, if Hillary Clinton gets in, we're going to be invaded. We're going to have a war in our hands.
That lady Clinton is so wicked and evil, she'll stir up a war. That's what she's going to do. And you know what? If she gets voted in to be the leader of the most democratic country in the Western world, God help us.
Putin's not stupid, you know. Do you know the next time he done it, as soon as Trump got in, he stood down all of his forces. He went, there won't be a war.
There wasn't. There wasn't. Do you know the next time he stood all of his forces ready again? See, as soon as Biden gets in, we've got trouble coming again.
We need to be prepared. Those Western powers of Britain, of Europe, of America, of Canada, of Australia, there's something come in that's going to cause me problems. Putin's not stupid.
And so Jesus prophesied 2,000 years ago. One of the signs at the end is actual wars and rumours of wars. Real wars taking place.
What does he say about it? Notice what he says. You shall hear. Mark that out.
Wars and rumours of war. You will hear. Listen to what the Greek means about the word hear.
It means to hear with your ears, to actually hear it. It means to constantly hear. I mean constantly to be bombarded with talk about war.
It means to sit as an audience, constantly receiving reports. Jesus isn't saying you'll be involved in wars. He doesn't say that.
He says you'll be hearing about wars and rumours of wars. He actually depicts the church prophesying of the end. He said all of you reading this are going to be sitting as a constant audience worldwide, listening to reports about wars, real wars and potential wars.
I find this a remarkable prophecy that Christ said one of the marks of this hour is we're going to constantly be bombarded, listening to constant reports about war, real and imagined. My third and final point here tonight. Why there are two wars involving Gog and Magog.
Do you understand why I've dealt with this and preached this tonight? And I'm not going into everything I can say. The first point, Gog is not the Antichrist. The second one, Ezekiel's war isn't the same as Armageddon.
They're two different wars. I believe I'll actually potentially see Ezekiel's war. I really don't think I'm going to see Armageddon.
But third and finally, why there are two wars involving Gog and Magog. Ezekiel's war mentions Gog and Magog. We only read of this statement, Gog and Magog, one other place in all of the entire Bible.
While we read about Magog in genealogy and Genesis and in Chronicles again, we don't read of this statement, Gog and Magog anywhere else apart from Revelation chapter 20 at the very end of time. Listen to what it says. And I want you to see this.
Again, some people, they don't only make Gog the Antichrist. There's others in the church, they get confused and they bring these two wars together and make it one. They take Ezekiel 38 and they take Revelation 20 and they make it the same war.
They press it together and they say, it has to be the same because the common denominator, Gog and Magog, it must be the same. Now listen to it here for a moment. Revelation 20 verse 7, and when the thousand years are expired.
In Revelation 20, we see that this war, Gog and Magog, it takes place at the end of a thousand year period of Christ reigning on the earth. A thousand years where Jerusalem is the center of government, where those who live in Jerusalem are at peace. They're not taken prisoner.
They're not the people gathered out of all nations. That's Ezekiel's war. But in Revelation 20, at the end of a thousand years, when the saints reign upon the earth, remember what sort of reign that's going to be by Christ? It's going to be of an iron rod.
Do you remember there's not going to be any wars during that thousand years? We're told that all the weapons of war, the swords are beaten into plowshares. In other words, no war. They're not going to be teaching and learning war and building armies for a thousand years.
Oh no, it's going to be harvesting. It's going to be seed time and harvest. It's going to be a time of great blessing.
Someone who lives to a hundred years old is only a little child. Every man will have his plot of ground. You know, if you don't own your own house at Nassar, and you don't have your own bit of land, and you don't have your own income, and you don't have your own trees and harvests, and you don't have all the fruit growing like brother Jer and sister Margaret, and enjoying the tomatoes growing at your back door, don't worry, it's going to happen one day.
In the millennium, in that thousand years, it said you're all going to sit under your own tree. You're all going to have your own plot of land. Isn't that wonderful? You know, socialism and the sort of government coming up now, it wants to take all your private property away.
When Christ reigns with an iron rod, he'll make sure all of you get your own bit of property. It doesn't matter about wealth. All that the World Economic Forum is claiming to give us, and it's going to steal all of our rights to do that, and it's going to make us poor to say we're going to look after you.
Christ is going to come in with an iron rod, and he'll bring prosperity and blessing for a thousand years. So it says at the end of that thousand years, Satan should be loosed out of his prison. He's been bound a thousand years.
With me that Satan has been bound for a thousand years leading up to Ezekiel's war. He hasn't. We actually read the history of how Israel is regathered, scattered in all nations, and is regathered to Israel.
And then Ezekiel's war happens. But here at the end of time in Revelation 20, we read there's been peace for a thousand years. And the devil, Satan, shall go out to deceive the nations.
Notice that about Gog and Magog in Revelation 20. It's all of the nations are involved. All of the nations are affected.
Not several Mediterranean nations. Not named nations. It said the devil goes out, Satan goes and deceives all nations which are in the four quarters of the earth.
The entire globe. Listen, Gog and Magog. That's what it's called.
To gather them together to battle. The number of whom is as the sand of the sea. Ezekiel's isn't as the number of the sea.
They are a large army in Ezekiel's war. But this is so large no one could number them. It is all nations.
Not a few Mediterranean nations. And then it says, and they went up on the breadth of the earth. They didn't just come down through Turkey to invade Israel.
They didn't come through Syria to invade Israel. You know what? They go across the whole breadth of the earth. This is a worldwide army of all nations led by Satan, inspired by Satan.
And it's called Gog and Magog. And it's going to gather together against Israel. That's where it's going.
And they went up in the breadth of the earth. And listen, they compassed the camp of the saints round about. Doesn't say Jerusalem.
Doesn't say Israel. It says the camp of the saints. They surround them.
And the beloved city. What is the beloved city? That's Jerusalem. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them.
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone. You remember, when Christ comes back, Satan is bound a thousand years. At the end of the thousand years, there is a second Gog and Magog.
And Satan is finally cast into the lake of fire. He'll never be seen again. Never loosed again.
What a remarkable thing, where the beast and the false prophet are and should be tormented day and night forever and ever. I believe these are two distinct wars separated by a thousand years. They involve two different armies and many different things are not the same.
There's such a thorough victory within Israel on our mountains with Ezekiel's war. Russia falls. But Satan isn't cast into the lake of fire.
He's cast into hell for one thousand years. You cannot merge these and make them one. This is why I believe they're two different wars.
Ezekiel's war. It's not just on the horizon. It won't happen tomorrow.
I don't believe what's in Ukraine will lead to it in the next six months. I personally do not believe that, but who knows. But what I do believe is what is happening in Ukraine, like what I said in the message on Sunday, I believe Putin, I believe the Russian army, Russia as a nation is being prepared, being hardened, being stirred, being prepared to invade Israel.
I believe he is being provoked. I believe he's being hardened. I believe he's being finally shunned and tuned.
And the Western powers, they're going to arise to create a ten king world government very soon. They are provoking Russia. And you know what? Personally, I believe they want to move Russia out of the way.
But they're not going to decide when and how that happens. God will decide that. God has ordained the time.
He has prophesied it. And I believe they've joined together. Look at them with all of their closing bank accounts and all of the rest.
And they're angry at India because India won't do it. And they're angry at China because China won't do it. And they want all the nations to be against Russia.
And you know what? You're going to see Russia come out of this prepared, closer. Do you know who? Russia. Since 1948 when Israel become a nation again.
Do you know Russia has been behind every war against Israel since 1948, providing arms and tanks and planes, every single invasion since 1948. But they've never put an army in the field, never against Israel. But here's Ezekiel's war they're going to do it.
Do you know since 1948, a country that was always involved, that won't be in Ezekiel's war, Syria. Syria was part of the 1948 and 1967 and 1973 and many other troubles. Syria was at the front of it.
Syria was always the central man against Israel. But in Ezekiel's war, Syria isn't mentioned. I wonder why? Do you realize we have watched Syria moved out of the way? We've seen Turkey only arise as a radical Muslim nation since the year 2000.
It's only since 2016 that Turkey, Iran, and Russia has joined in an amalgamation. 2016. And they also met in December past, talking about what they're going to do with Syria.
I believe all the stage is being set. And so tonight, I preach this to clarify. Don't get caught up in false teachings.
Don't confuse what the Bible says. It's very clear and there's so much more we could say tonight. We're going to close and pray for Russia, for revival.
You know what? God's judgment is coming very soon and they are going to fall and they're being prepared for an hour. But as we close, can we pray for Russia, the Russian people, the Russian military, the Muslim world, the Muslim armies? Because you know what? Yes, we pray for Ukraine and it's horrible what's happening there. But there's something that's about to happen where multitudes of soldiers and military forces from all these nations are going to die.
And you know that. You know that if you believe the Bible. There is coming a destruction of the military force of the Muslim-Russian world.
Millions, millions are going to die suddenly. And ought we not to pray for their souls? Let's pray. Father, I thank you for the Word of God.
Father, I do pray. Give us clarity. Give us a burdened heart.
Lord God, let us put on the new man that we might love the Scythian, that we had prayed for the Scythian, that we had played with you night and day, that we wouldn't have hearts of hatred, of anger, of bitterness, nor God of envy and strife and division against the Scythian. But Lord God, I pray that we'd put on barrels of mercy and kindness and love and charity, not just for the Ukrainians, but Lord God, that you'd give us such a love for the Russian, nor God, that we as the church of Jesus Christ would be praying for revival out of Ukraine and Russia, nor God, what an opportunity, what an hour, what a day, that you could send revival now. Pour out your Spirit, O God, before you judge that great nation, before you bring it down on the mountains of Israel.
We plead with you tonight, nor God, we plead with you for Ukraine and Russia. We pray, O God, when we see global governments playing games with nations, Lord God, have mercy and send us a real revival. Give us millions that are won out of Islam in the midst of those armies, in the midst of Russia.
O God, pour out your Spirit on these nations. In Jesus' mighty name.
