Great White Throne of Judgement

Manley Beasley · 30:02

The Great White Throne Judgment is a reminder of the importance of sharing the gospel and helping others to know Jesus, so that they will not face judgment.
In this sermon, the preacher emphasizes the importance of recognizing and reaching out to those who are lost and in need of salvation. He emphasizes that God has placed us in families and neighborhoods for a purpose, and it is our responsibility to share the message of Jesus Christ with others. The preacher warns of the consequences of not accepting Jesus as the Son of God and the need for salvation. He urges the congregation to be the body of Christ on earth, allowing Him free access to work through them to bring others to salvation. The sermon concludes with a reminder that there will be a great white throne judgment where those who have not accepted Jesus will cry out for mercy, and the preacher encourages the congregation to do their part in reaching the lost before it is too late.

Tonight we're so grateful that Jesus didn't fall in the anger, that when you turned your back on him and he cried out for you, and Lord you knew and he knew, and now was a weakness, Father, that that was a price to be paid. Now, Father, now that when it seems he was the weakest, he is the strongest. Now, Father, we thank you that Jesus didn't come down off the cross until he died.

We thank you, Lord, that he died for me, for all these people. Now, Father, tonight, would you take this hour, make the demons of hell powerless? We believe you to do it. We thank you, Lord, that you can and you're able and that you are doing it right now.

You're repelling them. You're pushing them back, Lord, so some can hear the word and receive it and respond to it. Our Father, we long, we know the, Lord, we know the keys of our teaching.

So, Lord, I ask in Jesus' name to help us, help me. Lord, our Father, in Jesus' name we pray and, Father, I ask you to take the reaction. Amen.

I'd like to read tonight from the 20th chapter of the 11th verse. Revelation, the 20th chapter, beginning in the 11th verse. This is the scene of the great white throne judgment, the judgment for the lost people.

It said, I saw a great white throne and him that sat on it from whom, and there was found no place for them. I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God. And the books were opened.

And another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged. And the sea gave up the dead, which they were judged.

This is the second. A few years ago, my wife and I was, I've often had a, the reality. A friend of mine that I considered one of the greatest soul winners that I'd ever sit and talk in one evening, he said, you know, there's a lot of things.

And he said, there's one thing that I dread. And he said, that's the great white throne judgment. He said, I'm not looking forward to the great white throne judgment.

He said, because I'm going to see something that day that, that I don't want to see. Now, I've studied the great white throne judgment and I, I didn't quite understand just exactly what he was talking about. But I'm afraid I understand too well tonight.

The great white throne judgment is the place where God's people are going to help judge. The Bible says that we shall judge the world. We shall judge the fallen and we shall judge.

You got any playing to do, you'll do it when you get out of church. Amen. All right.

This great white throne judgment is a judgment for the law. This young man kept, he said, you know, he said, I had enough of it. He said, we had, he said, I read my Bible some and prayed some.

He said, you know, two weeks after he left my home, they found a note in the hotel room where he'd taken his life. And he said in this note that, he said, I knew what he was looking for. He said, I knew that he was looking for Jesus.

And he stayed in my home two weeks. And he didn't find him. And he said, I can think about that today.

But he said, one of these days, when he comes up out of, he's going to beg. He said, then he, I believe he'd turn to Jesus and beg Jesus to have mercy. He said, he'll fall on him.

And whether this really happens or not. And he said, I'll see. And he said, I don't.

If you're saved, you are the tabernacle. You are the hands of Jesus Christ. Three things he'll do towards reaching the world.

He'll give you such a testimony that the second thing you'll do is you'll water the seed of God. And the third thing you'll do is you are false. He has either, you've been too busy.

I wonder why this woman doubted my salvation. Do you have any idea? He stood and said, I don't understand how you can call you. I don't understand how you think God made you that man's wife.

The reason a lot of your loved ones, you say, what do you mean? Because if I'm people say that they know, did you know that? What would have happened if Jesus had come? Could you tell me? Tell me something folks. What would you ladies and gentlemen would have done if you had to look into this? Beacon's wife, faith sitting right here in front of me. Amen.
