Milton Green emphasizes the importance of authentic faith, repentance, and living under God's grace through the Holy Spirit.
In this sermon, the preacher emphasizes the importance of living a righteous and loving life as a reflection of God's truth. He highlights the contrast between the fruit of righteousness, which includes love, joy, peace, and power, and the fruit of the flesh, which leads to death and curses. The preacher encourages listeners to repent and lay down their selfish nature in order to fully embrace the gospel and allow the Holy Spirit to guide their lives. He also acknowledges that believers may face tests and temptations, but assures them that God's grace and protection will never be taken away.

Y'all know what God looks like? Look at me. And they know it's phony as a $3 bill. All they have to do is turn their television on for 10 minutes.
You know what the world's going to do when they know what the truth, when they see the true people and holy and righteous and loving bunch of people going to do? They're hurting people aren't they going to be? They'll run over each other getting to there. You know what the fruit of righteousness is? Love, joy, peace, Proverbs 1130. You know what? You know what it is? It's a tree of life.
But the fruit of the flesh is death. You speak death, it's curses. So what do we do? We say, Lord, I see the gospel and I love you more than I do anything else.
And so I choose to lay down a selfish character in nature of Satan because all they see is it's going to get me killed anyway. So the only way you can come is to lay down. That's what repentance says, lay down your life.
You're going to end up as death and land. Lay it down. That's what repentance is.
That's what I want to show you in a word. And then you begin to walk. You first get down and you pray before God and you cry out to God.
You don't do these little old words and you cry out. And you just confess, I broke your laws, God. And I'm sorry I broke your laws.
And you just cry out to God. Dear God, thank you for the grace that through Jesus Christ that there's some place a hope for me. And then you cry out at Pentecostal people.
They call it praying through. I don't know whether some of them really realize what they're actually doing there, but it really is. And you really pray through.
When you get up off your knees, you know what you're going to have? You're going to have peace. If you really cried and cried and prayed out the Lord and you really saying, God, I love you more than I do anything else. God's going to take you at your word right there that you're going to walk in covenant.
You're going to move into the presence of God by cleansing your hands and purifying your heart. You're truly going to make Jesus Christ worthy of your life and then you receive the spirit of God. That's just part of it.
And you have a real life experience, I don't know whether it's a cornfield, cotton patch or back room or where. It's real. But that's the beginning.
Because it's through the spirit that came into you when you made Jesus Christ Lord, that's why he's going to control your life. He's going to tell you what to do through the spirit. It's given to you as a pledge, a down payment.
And buddy, I'm going to tell you what nothing's ever going to pluck you out of the hands of the Lord. And if you know what you're going to do, now look at me, folks, there are things not right about you. There are things not right in your heart.
You've got to go possess the land. Are you what I'm saying? But you're not conscious of possessing the land. You don't go around striving.
You know what the priest of God did? He never let them wear two kinds of mixtures of wool or whatever. He never wanted them to sweat. God's the one that does the doing.
We wire ourselves out. So then we just go ahead and live. With our mind on the Lord and the grace of God makes you stronger than anything that the devil can throw at you.
But your heart gets tested. When you don't practice it, you'll overcome it. You prove it.
I love God more than I do anger. I love God more than I do grumbling. I love Jesus more than I do stubborn.
I love the Lord more than I do murder. I know I love the Lord more than I do irritability. I love the Lord more than I do the approval of man.
I love the Lord more than I do impatience. And the spirit of God is going to lead you because of this love and devotion to him. He's going to do a supernatural work in you, which is called grace.
The grace of God is through Jesus Christ. He makes you something you ask that fulfills his law, that does not break the man's law. And then that's reason Romans 2, 13, not that here's the law is going to be just before God, but to do it, the law is going to be justified.
And we'll get into that thing just all over the New Testament. But to do it, the law is going to be justified. And the only way you can become a doer is through Christ.
And so you begin your walk. You've got a hedge around you. And you know something? God has told those powers of darkness, shut up.
And buddy, they shut up, but they do shoot you these little flaming missiles where you get you, you go get you get to go through the test and you've got anger is going to come by and say, I believe he loves anger more than he does God.
