John chapter 5 verse 39, you see this also the side of the Pharisees. John chapter 5 verse 39 and 40, you search the scriptures. Not the postmodern ideas, not the secular humanist ideas. No, you search the scriptures. Because you think in them you have eternal life. But you are unwilling to come to me. So it is possible for me to keep searching the scriptures and not find Jesus. Pharisees did it, same for us through the day.
