Now then, we are dealing with the spiritual evil, I say, moon, which he claims it was for himself, according to himself, according to he has not mooned himself, when moon, indeed, in a state, and in a philosophical relationship, and what they believe, concerning the first Adam, and according to, what happened in the God of Lucifer, was a relationship that existed, so Lucifer came along, and as a result of this, man fell spiritually. He realized, in horror, how to make matters right, but far from putting matters in the way that these people work it all out. This was Cain, if you please, and the result of, now you may think that here you're in the area of the bizarre, I think this is what is taught.
Now, Cain, and this is where the political overtones come in, Cain and his communism. This is an evil thing, according to the theology of the Unification Church, of communist tendencies in his teachings, and one of the reasons why he is in trouble in law. Democracy, however, is that system that has resulted through Elbukh and his descendants, and democracy has the smile of God upon it.
Now, this is possibly the reason why Moon was so concerned to defend Nixon. She's a little closer to the Marxist world, if you'll remember. She was the first American president ever to visit the Republic of China.
But nonetheless, Moon believed that Nixon, heading up democracy in his lips upon the East, in the communist lap, and on this Earth. Here you see this strange conglomeration taken from the Old Testament, but manipulated and changed in such a way as to develop. Now, this is so interesting, as you'll see.
The first Adam then, into the world, and the fall onto the second Adam. Four hundred years before the birth of Jesus, God sent Malachi, the prophet, of the world, for instance. The whole world was to be prepared for the advent of the second Adam.
But when Jesus came, things happened which disappointed God. And the villain of the peace, if you please, was none other than John the Baptist. Instead of acknowledging the Lord Jesus, he caused suspicion to come amongst the Jewish community, and ultimately, inevitably, Jesus was rejected by the Jews, and he was crucified.
This was a great tragedy in one sense, because, you see, what the second Adam could have done was to have averted the shock, and this would have been the case had it not been for John the Baptist, and Jesus, the perfect man, would have found a perfect wife, and their offspring would have made the perfect family. And the consequence of all this would be the regaining of Eden, the throwing away of the consequence of the fall, because they threw it away. But when he died on the cross, well, according to me, the birth of Jesus on the cross will still need to have some other means.
So, now here in this book, The Divine Principle, things get very interesting if you're a mathematician, because part of life is made of numbers. We are told, broadly speaking, in Abraham and the second Adam, Jesus. Now, 2,000 years will elapse between Jesus and the new Messiah, the Lord of the second Adam.
And if you dig into the numerology, into the numbers of this book in sufficient depth, you'll find that the year 1916 becomes a very important year, and also that the land of Korea becomes a much important... In fact, let's take the last point first, before I go on to the year 19. According to Moon, Revelation starts with a loud voice to the four angels, and so on. So, from Revelation 7, verse 2, let's take from the East.
Now, according to Moon, there are only three countries that this Messiah can originate from. One is Japan, the other is China, and the third is Korea. Well, he throws out, or at least The Divine Principle throws out Japan because of its hedonism.
China doesn't get a look in because of its Marxism. Can't be China because that's filled with all the defendants of faith and the Marxist philosophers. So, it has to be Korea.
And a little bit more in the numbers from this book, this Divine Principle pattern. In fact, one could say that the Messiah will be born, that is, the Lord of the second Adam will be born in 1920. But, surprise, surprise, Mr. Moon and he was born in 1960, the marriage ceremony of the Lamb takes place.
Now, when did Mr. Moon have his second marriage? The first one was de facto, because, oh, he wasn't spiritually mature enough to take in, but there was nothing wrong with the second one, or the fourth one, depending on how you argue that. And that one occurred in 1960. Again, it's interesting, isn't it? Now, nowhere in the book, The Divine Principle, is it actually said that this man, that we should at least say this, he's got quite a lot going for him, when it gets to the year 1980, when again, according to the numbers in this book, the revelation is going to be made as to who exactly is this new Messiah.
So, we've got Moon, if you like, out on the wings of the stage, waiting for 1980 to come, and then possibly, unless the Church decides to explain it some other way, he will make this, that he is the Lord. And when this commandment is made, and everyone recognises the Lord of the Second Advent, there will come about the unification of all religions. That's why the Church is called the Unification Church.
Not just the unification of denominations, but the unification of all religions. Indeed, Moon has done a little, which almost compels him to reveal himself as the Lord of the Second Advent sooner or later. But one day, it should be recognised that he controls all power that there is in the world.
Now, the Moon Church is very scientifically orientated. Let me explain that perhaps a little better and more accurately. It has an interest in science.
Moon has used his millions to put on conferences, type of conferences, for scientists in one of the best hotels in New York. In fact, to date, as far as I can work out, there have been four such conferences. Moon is very pleased to have that, to rub shoulders with the best brains in the world today, particularly the world in the West.
But why was he sworn to science? Well, you see, when in 1980 the commandment is made as to who the Lord of the Second Advent is, and all religions are unified, then science will be employed to make perfect the world. And the Lord of the Second Advent will complete the ministry of Jesus. For you remember, Jesus has said this spiritually, that we have not yet got our own children.
Then will be released into the world the power, rather than theological teaching of a unification church, to complete that which is lacking in the ministry. Well, I use the word bizarre, and it's a while ago. The Second Advent, the Lord of the Second Advent, and the whole of the movement, with its heart-pounding, not too far in the future, is really going to demonstrate a very interesting, very fascinating, but a grand and a terrible delusion.
But how do they get their hands on it? Well, this is where this article in the Mail is rather helpful, because here you have a vindication of the comments that I've already prepared yesterday to make in respect of the evangelism. Let me just stick to my book for a moment, the notes that you have in front of you, and then I'll read from this particular article. When a person is accosted by a moony, they will be invited back to a meal.
There will be a group of other people at this meal. There will be a very happy spirit. Some of these folks may come from different countries, maybe a little bit of singing, and then someone will give a lecture.
The name of noon in the Unification Church may not come into it at that stage. Rather, we'll be talking about how the world can become a happy place. Wouldn't it be nice if all the races of the world were able to get on with one another? Of course, this all seems very happy and very jolly.
Then, a foot with a bit of bait will be given to the person who has done a loan to this lunch or to this evening dinner. They will be asked to go to a workshop in the council. Now, there are a couple of councils in the UK, I guess, and several in the States and in other parts of the world.
And it may well be that this person, perhaps so you or me, who has done a loan, will say, why not? These are very nice people. Wouldn't it be nice to spend a little while in their company? So, one goes. And one finds that the program during this workshop is very intense indeed.
You'll get up very early in the morning. You'll be encouraged to do some physical exercises. You'll be subjected to lectures.
And then you'll gather round in little groups and you'll talk about your lectures. And then you'll have some food. And then there'll be more lectures.
Then more food. Then more lectures. You go to bed.
And then you get up early again the next day. And so it continues. And you will discover, as this is going on, that new friendships are made.
If you've gone in with someone else, a friend of yours, then you will find that they are surrounded by other people. And you're taking away from your own acquaintance, not forcefully, as I've done in the School of Bornholmery, but through encountering other people. You're not left on your own.
You don't even sleep on your own. You're not influenced by that immorality. The sexes are divided, but you'll be sleeping perhaps in a sleeping bag or in a bed in a dormitory next to somebody else.
And you will have very few moments, if any moments, of civility at all. And under it, by the way, as you're introduced to this, and as you're surrounded by these new friends, everything will feel extreme, but one of them found. And the possibility of you becoming part of our family.
When you know that you've been isolated from your own background for a little while, you've been bombarded with new ideas, you've been relatively told that your fleet has been at a minimum. And is this, to that world, right? Would it be better for you to think and learn more about the Lord of the Second Advent? No, it won't. Having been isolated from your background, placed in an environment where people seem to think of it from love.
And that's when it happens. It's not the crude brainwashing of a hundred years ago, and sometimes years in parts of the world today, not the waiting for them to be low and punching these ideas into their heads. So, it might perhaps have been hard for you to have accepted that now, psychoanalysis, or brainwashing, as it's employed in the means to it, is an absolutely paternalistic antidote to exactly that format being applied in this case.
I met her friend recording what happened to them when they were in America. We were sitting in a marketplace in San Francisco. One of them was from Toronto, where Julius was from, near the village of Bloorville, somewhere out of the city.
We were offered proposals in a two-day meeting. Eventually we decided to visit Happyland for one after the lecture. Things began to change.
Everyone was over-friendly to us. We'd just stay with them, not say, Julius, only keep at it. She had changed practically overnight.
It's psychological. It's dangerous. And this tactic is used not only by the Unification Church, it's used by the Freedom of God, and certain other groups that you might be referring to in this series.
Well, what do you do? What can Mrs. Lynn start to do? Well, she's going through Canada, she's going through California, and she hopes to get in contact with her daughter. If she does get in contact with her daughter, she'll have great difficulties in helping her at all, because she will find that the whole lifestyle and the whole of the thinking of her daughter has changed completely within a matter of just two or three weeks. Now, all of a sudden, they are indulging in a programme which I personally am not recommending, called de-programming, which is not conversion, not to be associated with Christian conversion at all.
But what happens is that the person is abducted from the fact, and they are isolated for a while, and then unpleasant things happen. But what about our particular approach as to what is to be our social responsibility? Well, I think that we must recognise one or two things from Scripture. And first of all, and this I made reference to earlier, this is just part of the Satanic delusion which has been fascinated with coming into this world as Jesus.
We are to accept this sort of thing insistently. We are to realise that these dear people, and on the whole, young people, are spiritually, to some extent, I suppose, it would be safe to say, that you could fart until you were blue in your face. And you wouldn't get them to swear on their principles.
Because this is the cover of what I say, God, we will know more and more in the 1970s. The cover within the Evangelical Church is the power of the Holy Spirit.
