Zac Poonen teaches that true spiritual experience and victory come from genuinely believing and living in the reality of being raised and seated with Christ in the heavenly realms.
This sermon emphasizes the importance of genuine belief in experiencing the power and truths of Scripture. It contrasts nominal belief with true faith, highlighting the difference between merely acknowledging Christ's sacrifice and truly experiencing His overcoming power. The message challenges believers to reflect on their own faith and to actively engage with the reality of being spiritually seated with Christ in heavenly places.

In another sense, I'm taken up to heaven spiritually, and we experience only what we believe. The things in Scripture, for example, if you didn't believe that Christ died for your sins, you'd never experience forgiveness. What is the difference between you and that nominal Christian who talks about Christ's death and burial, but does not experience the risen, overcoming power of Christ? It's because he doesn't believe.
It's there in Scripture, but he doesn't believe it. He nominally believes it. Now, it's possible for all of us also to nominally believe that we are raised up and seated with Christ in the heavenly places.
For example, you think back and ask yourself, when was the last time you seriously thought of the fact that you are seated with Christ in the heavenly places, that you're not actually looking up to heaven, but looking down from heaven spiritually to the things of earth?

Can someone be a Christian without experiencing the power of Christ?
Yes, if they only nominally believe without truly embracing faith, they may know about Christ but not experience His overcoming power.
How can I live from a heavenly perspective daily?
By regularly meditating on your identity in Christ and consciously choosing to view circumstances from the vantage point of your spiritual position with Him.
