The Danger Of Our Hearts Being Lifted Up In Pride (Clip)

Zac Poonen · 0:58

Zac Poonen teaches that the root of sin is pride in the heart, especially when it is lifted up because of God-given gifts like beauty and wisdom.
This sermon delves into the root of sin, highlighting how unrighteousness was found due to pride in one's heart. The downfall began when beauty and wisdom led to a sense of self-importance, corrupting the gifts bestowed by God. Sin, as revealed in verse 17, originates internally from the heart's pride in God-given attributes.
