The Holy Spirit Reveals the Hidden Life of Jesus

So, praise the Lord, brothers and sisters. It's good to begin every day with the spirit of praise, right from the time we get up in the morning. It can change the atmosphere of the whole day, just like we brush our teeth and refresh ourselves physically.

It's good, as I said yesterday, I want to remind you two things. When you got up this morning, did you lie in bed for at least five minutes and talk to the Lord first and call him dad? Okay, maybe some of you forgot. Sometimes we need to hear it again, but before the end of this conference, I hope it becomes a habit that will change your life.

I guarantee it will change your life. Every morning, as soon as you get up, talk to your heavenly father and call him dad. Tell him everything that's in your heart and get out of bed without any burden because you cast it all on the Lord.

Very important. All of us have so many burdens. Young people have burdens, old people have burdens.

Cast it on the Lord before you get out of bed and don't go to work with a heavy burden. Don't start the day with a heavy burden. Cast it on the Lord and then begin the day.

The second question, when you sang the songs today, did you sing them to Jesus? Maybe you didn't. Try again later today. Before the end of the conference, it'll become more real in your life.

These are little things. I'm telling you from my own experience. I'm sorry that nobody told me this when I was 19 years old and converted.

I think it would have made a lot of difference in my life if somebody had just told me these two things I told you this morning. So some of you are young, you've got the opportunity to start this right from your young age. Don't take it for granted.

You've been tremendously privileged to hear these truths when you're young, which I learned so much later. So, thank the Lord that you hear these when you're young. You remember the theme for our conference, Hebrews chapter 8. In the last part of verse 11, Hebrews 8, 11, the last part, all will know me from the least to the greatest.

Like I said yesterday, starting from the youngest to the oldest. Who's the youngest person listening to me here today? Whoever you are, it starts with you. It doesn't start with me.

I think I'm the oldest person here, but I'm last. It's going to start with you. It's wonderful.

From the least to the greatest. I want to know him, but I've got to get in line behind you. I'm last in the line because I'm the oldest.

And whoever's the youngest here, you're in the front. Remember that. And Jesus says, you come to me first.

That's so contrary to the spirit of the world, where, you know, younger people go to Jesus in prayer and say, oh, I wonder whether he'll listen to me. I tell you, he will listen to you sooner than he listens to me. And I'll give you an example.

If I, as a father, have 10 children, I don't have, but if I had, and my three-year-old and my 20-year-old both want to speak to me, Dad, I want to speak to you. Who will I listen to first? The three-year-old or the 20-year-old? I'll tell the 20-year-old, hang on, you wait. I want to listen to my little son here.

Do you know that God is a better father than me? So don't ever any of you who are young in age or born again just yesterday think that God's going to keep you waiting in the line. You'll be first in the line. That's one of the first things you must learn from this verse.

From the least to the greatest. That's how God is. You know, and all these disciples who are around 30 years old, ask Jesus, who's the greatest? They thought he'd point to one of them.

Peter thought it'd be him or John thought it was him or James thought it was him. And Jesus put them all aside and said, bring me a little, little child. He took baby, I think he took a baby from a mother's hand, give me this baby.

This is the greatest. And you know why? Because if you go into that little mind, child's mind, he doesn't have a desire to be the greatest. That child did not be in the mother's arms, think, am I the most important person here? Have you seen a little baby lying in a cradle? I've meditated on little babies lying on the cradle.

I would encourage all of you to do that. You will know me from the least to the greatest. So if a child is going to know the Lord better than an older person, it's obviously not intellectual knowledge.

Because if it's mathematics or science or some subject that you study in school, a child will definitely not know more than older people. Even a 10-year-old will know better than a baby, everything. But when it comes to God, it's a little child who knows better.

Why? Because it does not depend on intelligence. Can you guess among the 12 disciples who was the cleverest? Was it Peter? No, Peter was a fisherman. He hadn't even gone to high school.

James and John were fishermen who hadn't gone to high school. Who was the cleverest? Who was the post-graduate there? Judas Iscariot. Why do I say that? Listen to me.

It's got to do with the least to the greatest. Judas Iscariot lived with those 11 disciples for three and a half years. They traveled together.

They stayed in a... In those days, the hotel was called an inn. They stayed in those little hotels together. They were very intimate and close with each other.

And when you live together, frequently traveling and moving around with somebody for even one year, you really get to know him. Imagine if you traveled around with somebody for three and a half years, you'd be able to see through him completely. And yet none of those 11 disciples could see through Judas.

He covered himself so cleverly that nobody thought he was the crook. When Jesus said, one of you is going to betray me, they didn't all look at Judas Iscariot. They looked at themselves.

Whatever weaknesses there may have been in those disciples, I'll tell you, they had one good quality. Listen to this. One very good quality before the day of Pentecost.

And you don't have to be filled with the Holy Spirit to have this quality. When Jesus said, one of you will betray me, they didn't look at each other. What did they say? Lord, is it I? That is the spirit of a godly person.

You hear some strong message, convicting, and you don't look at others. You say, Lord, is it I? Sit through this conference and say, Lord, is it I? Lord, is it I? Then you'll be blessed. So, I want to show you something.

Matthew 18, that's what I was thinking of. Verse 1. At the time the disciples came to Jesus and said, who then is the greatest? Please turn in your Bibles to Matthew 18, verse 1. Who then is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? And he called a child, and I believe it was a little baby. And said, if you are converted and become like this child, then you can enter the kingdom of... Otherwise you cannot enter the kingdom of heaven.

Imagine, when people ask us, how can I enter the kingdom of heaven? Today we say, repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Sure, that's how you begin. But if you want to enter more into the kingdom of heaven, how do you tell this person who's already accepted Christ, who's already born again, like most of you are here today? You say, Lord, how can I progress further in the kingdom of heaven? The answer is here.

Be converted and become like a little baby. Now, when you hear something like that, I'll tell you what I did. I began to meditate on a baby lying in a cradle.

What are the thoughts going on through the mind of a baby? And you've heard me speak on this before, perhaps many times, but it's worth listening to again. In the mind of a baby, meditate on that. Think of a baby lying in a cradle.

What is it thinking of? It's not thinking of how clever I am. It's not thinking of what do people think about me. All the thoughts that go through our mind when we come here.

What are other people thinking about me? And am I smarter than them? You sit in a church and you think, am I the most spiritual in this church? Will they respect me? Will they ask me to speak or give a message in this church? All these things. These are not the thoughts that go through the mind of a baby. Little baby, I think, is just sitting there and enjoying God in some way, which I can't imagine.

It's not thinking how smart he is or how clever he is. Imagine if you become like that, brother, sister, that you never think of how smart I am, how clever I am, how much better I am than that other fellow. Or you look at some person who's not very clever and say, look at that dumb guy.

No child looks at some idiot and says what a dumb guy he is. No child thinks like that. But we do.

That's why it's so difficult for us to enter God's kingdom. We look down on others. A baby doesn't.

A baby has no grudge. If you hurt it in some way today and you see it tomorrow, he will not remember that you hurt me yesterday. Can you be like that? Somebody hurt you really badly today and you see him tomorrow and you don't even remember that he did that to you.

Meditate on something like this, to be like a little baby. It doesn't have any high thoughts about itself. It doesn't have any great ambitions to be famous or great in the world.

All these things that pass through our mind, that is what hinders us from making progress in the kingdom of heaven. You understood now? Meditate further. You can have a whole message on what it means to be a baby.

And I think it looks at everybody equally. It doesn't get proud. You know, babies are very cute.

And supposing somebody taps the child's cheek and says, you're really cute. It doesn't get puffed up. It does not get puffed up.

How about if somebody told you, you're very handsome or cute or clever or spiritual perhaps. And you really keep that in your head for days. Brother, sister, get converted.

I'm not telling you only, I say that to myself. Get converted, become like a little baby. From the least to the greatest.

Those are the ones who know God. All shall know me, beginning with the least. So that's why I'm encouraging you to go down.

The other thing, yesterday, let me remind you. I said that knowing the Lord is eternal life. John 17, four, I want to repeat it in case you missed it, John 17, three.

This is eternal life. For the benefit of those who were not here yesterday. Eternal life is not living forever.

Eternal life is a quality of life. It means a life that had no beginning and no end. No beginning and no end, that is eternal.

Your life and my life had a beginning, so it cannot be eternal life. You cannot have eternal life, unless the one who has eternal life gives it to you. Only God has eternal life, because he's the only one who had no beginning.

And we can have it, and that is by knowing him. That's how we have more and more of eternal life. Paul told Timothy, as I said yesterday in 1 Timothy 6, lay hold of eternal life.

Get to know God better and better and better and better. The whole secret of the Christian life is knowing God, not knowing the Bible, but knowing God through the Bible. I'll tell you honestly, everything I know about Jesus Christ and God is through the Bible.

Not from anywhere else. I can look at creation and see the greatness of God, but I don't know what his character is like. I don't know whether he's a loving father.

That I know only in the Bible, that I only know through the life of Jesus Christ. And let me turn you to a verse in John chapter one. John's gospel chapter one.

Please turn with me through these verses, so that you will remember them all your life. If you see them in your Bible, it gets more imprinted in your mind than if you just hear. We remember better what we see.

John chapter one and verse 18. No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten that is Jesus, who's in the bosom of the father, he has explained him.

So one of the purposes with which Jesus came to earth, according to this verse, was to explain, explain means to make clear, God as a father. In the entire Old Testament, nobody knew God as father. For millions of years, the angels could never look up to God and say, dad.

Think of that. Think of that. What a tremendous privilege it is.

Millions of angels for millions of years could never look at God and say, dad. They'd say, oh God, glorious and majesty. You know, it says in Isaiah six, they had six wings, these angels.

They would cover their face, cover their body and fly with two wings. Have you seen that verse? You must see it. You learn how to worship God then.

Isaiah chapter six. You know, we come to worship meetings and we don't have a clue what real worship is. If you want to learn worship, learn it from the angels in heaven, not from these charismatic videos that you see on the YouTube.

No, those people are just entertainers. They're not worshipers. They entertain Christians and make them happy.

I don't believe that God gets any glory out of a lot of those so-called worship meetings. They don't know what worship is. It's just singing and having a good time.

Instead of the rock and roll, they use the word of Jesus. That's about all. Not much difference.

It's the same spirit that I find in a lot of so-called Christian worship services that you find in rock and roll meetings, except they talk about Jesus here. Real worship, if you want to learn it, learn it from the angels in heaven. And here's an example.

Isaiah six. Oh, before I get there, I want to tell you something. Okay, I'll come to it now.

In the year of King Uzziah's death, I saw the Lord. See, King Uzziah was a godly man and Isaiah had some respect for him. Many of these kings started well, but they backslid.

But anyway, when he died, the man Isaiah respected went out of the picture. Then he saw the Lord. So one thing I learned from that is we must learn more to look at the Lord.

A godly man is a good example to follow, but Paul said, follow me as I follow Christ. Don't just keep looking at Paul. If Paul were living today, I'd spend a lot of time with him.

Definitely, I would learn from him, how he lived and what his attitude was and how he got to know the scriptures. I'd learn as much as possible with him, but I will not make Paul my idol. I'll make him my example and see how he follows the Lord.

He said, follow me as I follow Christ. So every man of God that you respect must be one who leads you to Christ. Here, when Isaiah died, I saw the Lord.

Beyond the man, we had to see the Lord. And he saw the Lord high and exalted. And then he speaks of the seraphs.

Seraphim means many seraphs. And each had six wings. Now learn to worship.

With two, he covered his feet. And with two, he flew. Four of his six wings were for hiding himself.

You learned what worship is? You got to hide yourself. And the rest, they used to serve or to express their love for the Lord. So I thought about this, you know, when we lead in prayer in a meeting.

Do I have a great desire to cover myself so that I'm speaking to the Lord? I've been in so many public prayer meetings and worship meetings, and you know how many people you can see that they're trying to impress with their language and all the way they speak and shout and yell and modulate their voice and all that. You think they're trying to pray to God? They're trying to impress the congregation. A lot of songs are like that with the way they let us impress the congregation.

They're not covering their face and covering their body. Learn from here how to worship and develop it in private. The best place to learn to worship God is all alone, when you're all alone.

That's why I said early morning when you get up, before you get out of bed, before others in the house are awake, get alone with God and worship. And you don't have to say many wonderful things. Just to admire God.

You know, I used to think when Jesus went and spent two, three hours in prayer in the wilderness, what was he doing? He wasn't giving God a big shopping list. See, a lot of our prayers are shopping lists. Lord, I want this, I want this, I want this, I want this, I want this, and then amen.

That's our prayer. Do you think Jesus went to the father and said, father, I want this, this, this, this, this, this, amen? No. I have a feeling that when Jesus spent, if he spent two hours in prayer, I think about one hour, 55 minutes, was listening.

Father, what do you want to say to me? In five minutes of speaking. You know, I can give you a little test. If you hear me speaking on the phone, for two hours, and I speak for one hour, 55 minutes, and listen for five minutes, tell me, do you think the person at the other end of the phone would be a more godly man or some young brother? What do you think? Definitely a young brother.

If it is a godly man, I wouldn't be speaking to him for one hour, 55 minutes. Now, the other way around, if you see me on the phone and I'm listening for one hour, 55 minutes, and speak only for five minutes, then you say, boy, Brother Zach must be listening to some godly man. Okay, you understood now.

Now, when you pray, and you're talking, talking, talking, talking, talking to God for one hour, and no time to listen, who do you think is more godly? You or God? No wonder you don't grow spiritually. I'm talking about very down-to-earth matters. I'm not judging you.

I did the same foolish thing myself for years, but I did not have a spiritual father to tell me I was wrong. I had to learn, I grew up like an orphan spiritually. I never had a spiritual father who could sit and tell me, Zach, that's not the way to worship.

I don't know why God allowed me to sort of struggle and struggle to find out these things myself, but one advantage of finding out things yourself, you learn it thoroughly. When you learn it from another, it takes a longer time to learn, but I had to struggle to learn things. It's like these people who are very poor and struggle, struggle to go through school and struggle, struggle to go through college and advance, they learn a lot.

The other day, I read about an Indian man who was born blind, and he developed, he's far too blind. And fought against all this adversity and went through school, went through college and finally came to study in the top university in the United States, traveled in a plane all by himself, totally blind, and went back to India and started a business and he's one of the richest businessmen in India. Can you believe it? It's a true story, it almost sounds like fiction.

And when I read about this man, he's still alive today, much younger than me, I said, wow, imagine that blind man could do such a lot with all his limitation. Why do I ever complain about my limitation? I can do such a lot for God, if he could do such a lot and become a millionaire, he's a millionaire today, and he runs his own business, totally blind. He needs somebody, he has to walk with these sticks that blind people use and have somebody to help him.

I said, Lord, I really believe when I get to heaven, I'll be ashamed when I see people with so many limitations. Some of the most wonderful songs in the English hymn books is written by a lady called Fanny Crosby. She was totally blind from the time, she wasn't born blind, she became blind through some mistake, some person who claimed to be a doctor, some liquid they put in the eyes to try and cure it and she became blind.

She had no complaint about it. And she wrote so many songs, amazing songs. What I'm saying is, no limitation in you can hinder you from knowing God.

All shall know me from the least, from the least I thought of a baby. Or here's another way of being the least, blind. Are you blind? You're definitely among the least among human beings.

Such a person can know God. Fanny Crosby, she knew God better than most of us sitting here. So don't any of you ever feel, I'm not so capable, I'm not so educated, I'm not so intelligent.

It doesn't make a difference, brother, sister. To know God starts with the least. And I hope that will produce faith in you.

All shall know me. So here's this angel covering himself and worshiping. And Isaiah saw this.

And what are the angels saying? They were not saying fantastic things. They were saying, holy, holy. Verse three, he's the Lord of hosts.

The whole earth is full of his glory. They were not giving big lectures to God. They were just worshiping, taken up with the holiness of God.

Just a few words, their whole worship was just a few seconds, but it was real worship. They didn't speak much. I think they listened a lot.

I think of the angels in heaven, like Gabriel, for example. What do they do? They wait on the Lord, worshiping him. Then one day the Lord will tell them to do something.

Gabriel, go down and tell that high priest, Zechariah, that he's gonna, even though he's an old man, his wife's gonna give birth to a child, John the Baptist. He does that and comes back and waits. Waits days on end, worshiping.

Then God says, Gabriel, go down. There's a young girl called Mary over there, unmarried girl. Tell her the Holy Spirit's gonna come upon her and Jesus is gonna be born through her.

He goes down and says, no question. No question, how can that happen? Lord, no, no, no. No question.

Goes down and says that to Mary and comes back and waits. I said, Lord, I can learn something from Gabriel. How to worship, how to wait on you, how not to question when you say something that sounds impossible.

A virgin having a child, it's never happened in 4,000 years of man's history. Gabriel doesn't bother. If God said it, it'll happen.

I say, Lord, make me like that. To know God is to know him like those angels know him. No questions.

I wanna come to the scriptures like that. And the more I have taken the scriptures like that, the more it has transformed my life. The more it has enabled me to accomplish something for the Lord in my life.

We all have one earthly life. And if we waste it, we're gonna have years and years and millions of years of regret in heaven. That's what I always think.

We're all gonna be millions of, if you're born again, you're gonna spend millions of years in heaven. And I'll tell you one thing, when we get to heaven, all of us are gonna look back on our earthly life. Okay, we did a lot of stupid things.

We sinned in so many ways, you and I. And I say, well, Lord, thank you that you died and took away the guilt of all that. But what did I do with the rest of my life? What did I do from the time I was born again? What did I do from the time I came to know the Lord? How did I spend the rest of my life? Did I spend it in competition with other brothers and sisters to show that I'm better than them? Did I create confusion in my church or was I a help in my church? And when I was a help in my church, did I want to be known or was I willing to do those things secretly? Did I live for others or did I live for myself? How did I express my gratitude to God? Did I offer cheap things to God which cost me nothing? Did I offer to God a service that cost me nothing or was there sacrifice in my life? These are the things that are gonna happen. Begin, learn to be a worshiper first.

To know him is to begin by worshiping him. And here's one good result that came out of it. And I want you to see this.

When you compare what the way Isaiah preached in chapter five and after he saw the Lord in chapter six, you'll see a world of difference. A preacher who does not live before God and does not worship like these angels. I'll tell you how he preaches, listen to this.

Just the previous chapter, chapter five. This is Isaiah the prophet. Imagine him standing in a pulpit and preaching.

This is what he says in Isaiah five verse eight. Isaiah five verse eight. Woe unto those who add house to house and join field to field until there's no more room want to live alone in the land.

He says, woe unto you money lovers who keep on buying up property so the poor people can never have anything that is happening there. And then he goes on to say, verse 18. Woe unto those who drag iniquity with God who tell lies and commit sin.

Woe unto them. Verse 20. Woe unto those who call evil good and good evil who are unrighteous.

Woe unto those who are clever in their own eyes, in their own sight. And woe unto those, verse 22, who become drunkards and like that. Condemning this group, that group.

He sees somebody sitting there and he condemns him. Yeah, I know what he's like. He doesn't call his name, but he knows who he's aiming at.

There are preachers like that. They see somebody and they want to say something to him and they'll say it in a general way. They're hitting at that guy.

And they're hitting at somebody else here. I see such preachers must give helmets to all the people who sit there. They're gonna hit them.

And that's how Isaiah was. Woe unto this person, woe unto that person. And then one day he says, in Isaiah 6, verse one, four words.

I saw the Lord. That's all. I saw the Lord.

And it made all the difference in his life. What happened after that? And he saw the angels. They were not going around saying woe unto this and woe unto this and woe unto this.

They were worshiping. And it changed his whole attitude. And you know what he said? Verse five, woe is me.

You see the contrast? Between the great preacher who's going around saying woe unto this group and that person sitting there and the other person sitting here. And now he says, oh, I am the worst of the lot. The apostle Paul, when I study his epistles, I see how he got to know the Lord better and better and better.

I don't want to turn to all the references. I don't have time. But in 1 Corinthians 15, you can jot down the reference if you like.

Paul said, I am the least of all the apostles. I think it's verse four or five. 1 Corinthians 15.

And then five, six years later, he writes to the Ephesians. Ephesians three, one of those verses 16 or 17 or something. He says, I am the least of all the saints.

You see how he's gone on. He was least of all the apostles. Five years, seven years later, he says I'm the least of all the believers in the world.

And another five or seven years later, he writes in 1 Timothy 1 verse 15. I am the chief of all the sinners. That's what happens when a man grows in grace.

How are you growing? Did you grow the other way? You were the least of sinners once. Then you were the least of the saints and now you're one of the greatest. Brother, sister, you're going the wrong direction.

In the world, you go that way. In a profession, you finally go and become CEO, right on top. Or in a government, you become an ordinary member of parliament and then you become a minister and then you become a senior and then you become a chief secretary or chief minister and then you become president.

It's exactly the opposite in the kingdom of God. It's going down, down, down, down, down. But yet you look around it, many Christian preachers, they've become a right reverend, reverend and right reverend and most reverend and they're all wrong reverends, if you ask me.

Oh, is that the way Jesus went? No, they don't know the Lord. They have not seen the Lord like the angels. How did Jesus go? Almighty God, that's what He was.

He is even today. He comes down and becomes a man. You gotta see this universe to see what it means for God to become a man.

That itself is a tremendous step down. That itself is a greatest step of humility. And as a man, He didn't stop there.

He went down and became like a slave. You know, in the Jewish household, it was a slave who washed people's feet. In every house, you know, you probably don't realize this here in the US, but in India, a lot of our churches are in the villages.

And I've been 40 years in those villages, preaching the gospel. And we wear open sandals in India, not shoes, because it's so hot. And when you walk with open sandals in the villages in India, then the roads are not tarred.

It's just dusty roads. Your feet become full of dust. And it's very refreshing when you enter a house, if there's a bucket of water where you can dip your feet and cleanse yourself.

It's very refreshing. So in those Jewish homes, they had dusty roads there. In every home, the rich people's homes, they had a slave.

They had slaves in those days. With the bucket of water, they'd wait there to receive the honored guests. The guests would sit down there and He'd wash their feet.

It's the first thing they did. So when Jesus wanted to have a last supper with His disciples, He told the owner, the owner would have kept a slave there. But the Lord said, I don't want anybody in that room.

It's a private meeting. That's why the owner did not send a slave to that room. But He kept the bucket of water.

That is standard procedure to have a bucket of water when you enter a home. And they all came to the home and they sit there, the bucket of water there. Everybody's feet is dirty.

Everybody's got an opinion of themselves. Peter says, I'm the main person. I don't wash feet.

Matthew says, I'm a chartered accountant. I don't wash anybody's feet. And Judas says, I'm a post-graduate.

I don't wash people's feet. Each had an opinion. And John says, I'm related to the chief priest.

I don't wash people's feet. So Jesus looks around and says, I'm the only ordinary person here. I'm gonna take the bucket and wash people's feet.

Learn, brother. Do you have that spirit? You want to know the Lord? As a God, He became man. As a man, He became a slave.

And you say, Lord, you can't go worse than that. The last day of your life, you're at the feet of your disciples, washing their feet. He wasn't chairman or director.

Today in Christendom, people ascend and ascend and ascend, become chairman, director and this whatnot. That's why we decided that we'd never have any titles. We have no titles.

I don't have any title. I'm brother. Because Jesus said, you're all brothers.

Don't be called rabbi and this, that and the other. You're all brothers. And I say, Lord, help me to my last day of my life on earth to be willing to sit at people's feet and wash their feet or serve them in some way.

Then I become a little more like you. And you think that's the lowest place to go? No. From there, He went lower still and became like a criminal, even though He's not a criminal, hanging on the cross.

That is the example of Jesus Christ. The example of the one who became the devil. He was the highest of the angels.

You read about Him when you get time, read Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28. Two chapters. You need to remember, 28 is the double of 14.

Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28. He was created to be the head of the angels. And He, all the angels are subject to Him.

Millions of angels are under Him. He should have been so grateful to God. You have made me the leader.

But He was not satisfied. It's like a pastor of a church in a village. He's not happy.

He wants to go to a higher town and then to become pastor in a city. And he wants to become a pastor in a bigger city, get bigger and bigger titles. Do you think these people can tell you anything about Jesus Christ? Nothing.

And they want to get a bigger salary, get more and more money. They can teach you zero about Christ. Because you learn from Christ by the way you walk, not by study.

Remember that. It's not mere study, you can hear. Conferences can be like times of study.

But if you don't apply them in your life, you will not grow. I'll tell you that. You'll come to conference after conference and conference after conference.

You'll still be defeated by sin. You'll still be fighting with your wife at home. There won't be any progress.

Say, Lord, I want to absorb these things. I want to go down. So He wanted to, He was the highest of the angels.

And He said, there's only one person above me. I don't even want Him to be above me. And He wanted, imagine the foolishness and how idiotic He was to think that He could go above God.

Sin makes a person stupid. Sinful desires will make you stupid like the devil. He was created with the cleverest brain, but He acted in the most stupid way.

And as soon as these thoughts came into Him, He got a few stupid millions of angels who supported Him in this. And they all rebelled against God. And in one moment, they were cast out of the third heaven into the second heaven.

There are three heavens, you know. Paul says he was caught up to the third heaven. They were cast down out of His presence forever.

Those are the demons and that's the devil. So there are two spirits that are operating in the world. One is seeking to go up, up, up, up.

The world is full of such people in politics, in business, in government, and unfortunately in the church, in churches, dead churches, Babylonian churches. Want to go up, up, up, up, up. That spirit can creep into a good church as well.

If the elders are not watchful, if the elders are not a good example, wanting to go up and up and up, wanting to be esteemed by others, wanting to draw attention to themselves. It's all the spirit of Lucifer that wants to go up and up and up and up. It can be found, it's found in many, many Christian churches.

Christ is not there. And then you see another spirit, the spirit of Jesus Christ, wanting to go down, down, down, down, as low down as possible to serve others, to go underneath them, to lift them up. If you have that spirit, you've got the spirit of Christ.

And these spirits are operating all the time in the world. It can operate in a home. The husband is to be the head of his wife.

In what way? With this spirit of going up and up and up and subduing her underneath him and saying, I'm the head, you better listen to me. Yeah, you're the head, but you can have the spirit of Lucifer. He also was the head.

Or you can have the spirit of another head called Jesus Christ, whose spirit was to get underneath and serve and wash people's feet. That's a Christ-like husband. By the way, that's not a message for wives to tell their husband how they should be, but that's the message for husbands.

Sometimes you listen to a message and the wife can go to the husband and say, did you hear what Buzzack said today? How you're supposed to be. Then you haven't understood it, sister. You listen to what God says to you, not, you know, for example, I have pointed people to Ephesians chapter five.

I'm just telling you how to read the Bible. Ephesians chapter five, verse 22. Wives, be subject to your own husbands as to the Lord.

25, husbands, love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her. Now listen to this. This is the wrong way to read the scriptures.

A husband reads verse 22 and yeah, we can read it and tells his wife, hey, listen, you know what the Bible says? Be subject to your husband. I want to ask you a question, all of you. Do you read other people's letters? You see a letter addressed to somebody else.

Do you open it and read it? No, you're decent. That's not my name on the envelope. I should not read it.

Dear husbands, this letter is not written for you. It's written for wives. Don't open it and read it.

It's a letter addressed to wife. Be subject to your, let her read it. Now, your wives are very happy.

I want to give you a message too. Verse 25, think of a wife who goes and tells her husband, Bible says you must love me as Christ loved the church. That letter was not written for you, sister.

Don't open a letter written for your husband. That's written for the husband to read. Husbands, love your wives.

This is such an elementary principle of decency. It's a pity that we have to teach it in the church, right? Don't read other people's letters. But I've seen it so many times in Christian homes.

When the husband's reading the wife's letter and saying, this is what you should do. The wife is reading the husband's letter and saying, this is what the Bible says you should do. From today, it'll stop in your home, right? It'll stop in your home.

You will not read other people's letters from today. Praise the Lord. Your home will be a little more like heaven when you read your own letters and let other people read their letters.

Leave it to God to speak to your husband. Leave it to God to speak to your wife. Let the preacher in the pulpit preach to everybody.

That's another thing. Prophet can speak to anyone. But I don't believe in 56 years of my married life, I have ever told my wife, you must be subject to me as unto the Lord, not once.

I'm a servant of God. I do not read other people's letters in the Bible. And my wife has never told me, you must love me as Christ loved the church.

We have had a very happy marriage for 56 years, not by telling others what they should do, but seeing what I should do. She decides what she should do herself. I want all of you to have happy marriages.

One simple rule, don't read other people's letters. Judge yourself, but not anybody else. See what Jesus said in Hebrews chapter 10.

To quote scripture, the language of scripture. Here, Hebrews chapter 10, it's talking about Jesus. Verse five, when he comes into the world, who's that? So referring to Jesus coming into the world.

And he says, he comes to the world and says, sacrifice an offering you have not desired, but a body you have prepared for me. And so Jesus said, in the Old Testament, it was goats and bulls and sheep. That's not what you desire, but father, you made a body for me.

And this is gonna be what I'm gonna sacrifice. I have come, and this is the verse I want you to see what Jesus is saying. He refers to a book here.

The book is the word of God. In those days, the Old Testament was the Bible. So let me read it like that in verse seven.

Behold, I have come. In the Old Testament, it is written, Hebrews 10, seven. In the Bible, it is written.

About whom? About whom? About me. Can you remember this little phrase? In the Bible, it is written about me. Not about my wife, not about my husband, not about that brother, not about that sister.

Jesus took that position. In the Bible, it's written about me. Go to every verse in the Bible and say, in the Bible, it's written about me.

If Jesus could say that, why can't we say it? There are simple laws for the spiritual life. We are trying to know Jesus better. Eternal life is to know him and to know Jesus Christ.

I'm trying to help you to know Jesus. This is how he lived on earth. When he read the Bible, he said, it's written about me.

He didn't find a verse there to tell somebody else what they should do, even though he was a son of God. As a prophet, he could speak that. But when he read the Bible, he said, it's written about me.

And I see in the scriptures that I have to go to the cross. And he went to the cross. So, I see some wonderful things.

The result of what happened to Isaiah, turn back to Isaiah six. First of all, I saw that he, you saw that he kept on saying woe unto others till he saw the Lord. And when he saw the Lord, he began to say woe unto me.

And you can take that as a good test by which whether you've seen the Lord or not. If you've seen the Lord, you'll say woe unto me. If you haven't seen the Lord yet, you'll always be going around saying, woe unto them, woe unto that person.

You'll sit in a church and find all the people you have to say woe unto that person and woe unto that person and woe unto that person. One day you'll see the Lord and you'll say woe unto me. May that day come soon in the life of everyone sitting here.

It'll change your life. It'll change your family life. It'll change the way your children grow up.

Everything will change. A little bit of heaven will come into your home. And if you continue that way, I'll tell you what'll happen.

God will anoint you to speak his word to others. Perhaps not in a pulpit like this. Maybe in ordinary conversation with your family members.

Maybe in a phone call. You know you can prophesy on a phone call. You don't have to say thus saith the Lord.

You just, when you're talking to somebody, God can give you a word in your heart that you share with your sisters. Well, if you have a great desire to prophesy, when you speak to a fellow sister, if something's on your heart and you share it lovingly after having judged yourself first, and later on that sister will say to you, you know, sister, that word you spoke to me on the phone that day, that was exactly the word I needed in other words, it was a prophetic word. Prophecy is not only in the pulpit.

You may never sit in a pulpit and yet prophesy regularly in ordinary conversation to bless people. Amazing. I heard a story once of one brother who was walking down the road, very discouraged.

And along the road was coming another brother from the same church who was also very discouraged. And they met each other and spoke to each other for about 15, 20 minutes. And they both went away encouraged and they called each other up and said, hey, you know, brother, you encouraged me so much the other day.

Who was the one who encouraged somebody? A discouraged person. Two discouraged brothers got together and they both got encouraged. How did that happen? Because where two are gathered in my name, there Jesus is in the midst.

What about if two discouraged brothers come together? Is Jesus in the midst? Sure. What will happen if Jesus is in the midst? Both go away encouraged. It's amazing the power of Christ being in the middle.

But you have to live in a way where you've got to keep your conscience clear. Not the, you're the type of person who's always finding fault with somebody. I know what's wrong with that brother.

You ask me about anybody in the church, I'll tell you. This is what's wrong with that person. This is what's wrong with that person.

This is what's wrong with that sister. And that other sister, I'll tell you 10 things about that sister. Brother, you will never know the Lord because you're the person like Isaiah, woe unto that person, woe unto that person, woe unto that person.

What about that person? Woe unto him. I'll tell you 10 woes about the other person there. May you see the Lord.

May you see how the angels worship the Lord. May the day come soon in your life when you say, woe is me. I'll tell you how that will change your life.

Turn to Isaiah six. Woe is me. Verse five, Isaiah six, five.

I'm ruined. This is what it means to know the Lord. When Isaiah knew the Lord, he said, woe is me.

I'm a man of unclean lips. Very interesting. The first thing he was convicted about was the way of his speech.

And when you know the Lord, one of the first things you'll be convicted about is the way you speak. The way you speak to your wife. The way you speak to your husband.

The way you speak about other people. I am a man of unclean lips. Have you seen it? No, you won't see it until you see the Lord.

You can hear this message and it'll last, the effect of this message will last for maybe till tomorrow. You go home and it'll be gone. But if you see the Lord, it'll be permanent.

Some of these things have come into my life not by listening to somebody else. What I'm telling you, I tell you in Jesus' name. I've never heard from anybody.

I never read it in a book. The Lord showed it to me from scriptures. I saw it from the Lord and that's what changed my life.

It's not just a message I heard. I hope you will listen to me and I hope beyond me you will hear this from the Lord. I always tell people, every message that you get from me, I hope you will take it before the Lord and say, Lord, let me hear the same thing from you.

I heard it through Brother Zach, but I want it to be you. Just like you read the scriptures, you know. I read here something that Paul wrote, but what do I read? What do I say when I read what Paul wrote in Ephesians or Philippians? I say, Lord, this is what Paul wrote.

I heard it from Paul, but I want your Holy Spirit to make it from you. Isn't that how you read the Bible? But say the same thing when you hear a word of the Lord from the pulpit. Lord, I heard it from the pulpit today.

I want you to make it real that you speak the same thing to me. Then I will say, woe is me, for I am ruined. And he's convicted about himself.

I'm a man of unclean lips. This is the man who was telling everybody else that they had unclean lips. Now he says, I'm the man of unclean lips.

And I live among a people of unclean lips. How did that happen? Because my eyes have seen the King. I have come to know the Lord.

And it's completely changed my attitude to myself and to other people. And as soon as I have come, I have come from what I would call to a zero point. It's one of the things I've stressed often in my life.

God wants to bring us to a zero point in our life. There's a 10-minute message of mine on YouTube called Coming to a Zero Point. It's only about 10 minutes.

Listen to it sometime. It's something I did in my home church in Bangalore where I called different young people to come forward and said, what are the things people glory in? Wealth. I said, hold a big zero and stand there.

Well, sport and various things. And I got 10 different things I think to zero. All the things that the world considers great are zero.

I said, Jesus is the one. When you put a one in front of these 10 zeros, see what happens to it. They become extremely wealthy, millions and billions and trillions.

You take away the one, again zeros. 10 zeros are the same as one zero. Worth nothing.

You put a one in front of it, you put Christ in front of it, the whole thing gets value. When you become a zero and you put Christ as the head of your life, you get value. Otherwise, there's no value in it.

So he said, I'm good for nothing. And then the seraph brought the fire from heaven. See, there are many Christians who are praying, Lord, I want to be baptized in the Holy Spirit and fire.

Here was an Old Testament experience of the baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire. How did it come? It came when he stopped judging other people. He came when he saw the Lord.

And he got to know what the Lord was like and he said, woe is me. You want the baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire? I'll tell you that was my experience. For years, I was a defeated Christian.

And then I began to pray for the baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire. And for six months, prayed frequently, fasted, prayed along with another brother frequently. And one day, all of a sudden, God met with me.

That was 50 years ago. Changed the direction of my life completely. And that's when the first CFC Church was born.

50 years ago, we have 50 years now. And since then, the Lord's planted 100 churches in 16 countries, raised up 200, 300 other elders and facilitators to lead these churches. God has done a wonderful work.

But it all began with the baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire. The entire Christian church began on the day of Pentecost when 120 people were baptized in the Holy Spirit and fire. Here's an experience of Isaiah getting something similar.

The seraph flew with a burning coal in his hand, which he had taken from the altar with tongs. And he touched my mouth with it. That's what happened when the apostles were baptized in the Holy Spirit and fire.

Their mouth was touched with the fire from heaven. And a 15 minute sermon that Peter preached brought 3000 Jews to Christ. To bring one Jew to Christ is a miracle.

Imagine bringing 3000 Jews to Christ not with a big long sermon, 15 minutes. Listen to Acts chapter two. 15 minutes sermon, 3000 people were convicted.

How is that? The baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire. I know my own ministry was transformed when the Lord baptized me in the Holy Spirit and fire. Completely.

That's what happened to Isaiah. He stopped saying woe unto me, woe unto unto, woe unto this and started saying woe unto me. And I started saying woe unto me.

I stopped saying woe unto the others. I want to advise you at least stop saying woe unto the others and start saying woe unto me. Don't say it as a habit.

It's not a technique. You will say it automatically when you see the Lord. If you say it only because you heard me say it, okay, from tomorrow I'm going to say woe unto me.

Won't last. When you say it because you've seen the Lord, it will change you completely. He touched my mouth and said, this has touched your lips.

Your sin is taken away, your sin is forgiven. And now the anointing is upon you. You can go and preach.

And he asked, who shall go for us? He said, here I am, where is he? Send me. Go. The Lord said, I anoint you to tell the people and I give you my word.

What a tremendous privilege. You don't have to be a preacher in the pulpit. God may give you a word to go and speak to one person.

You sisters, God may give you a word to bless somebody. You can prophesy, as I said, over the telephone. You can prophesy when somebody comes visiting your home and you're just having an ordinary conversation.

And in the midst of all that conversation, one sentence goes home to a person's heart and is exactly what that person needs. That's happened to me so many times. I didn't even know that that's what that person needed.

But it's a wonderful thing when you walk with the Lord and you just, in ordinary conversation, you speak to people and one sentence that you speak goes home to somebody. Don't you want to walk with the Lord like this? I told you, that's how Gabriel does in heaven. He waits on the Lord and the Lord says, go and say this.

He says that, comes back and waits on the Lord. To be always in that spirit of, Lord, what do you want me to do? Now, what I want to say is this. If you see the Lord, I'll tell you, one characteristic will be that he'll say, woe is me.

And then when you're baptized with fire, he'll touch your lips and give you the words to say. He'll say, this is what I want you to tell people, verse nine. You don't have to invent a message.

Go and tell these people this which I'm saying. It's a wonderful experience for the Lord to speak through you like rivers. It's not by a great effort.

I remember in my early days, when I used to preach with my head knowledge and study of the Bible. In India, in the villages, there's no running water. To have running water in your houses, you must have a pipe connected to a reservoir.

And from there, the water flows through the pipe and into your house in a tap. In India, there's no such connections in the villages. But in the villages, in some central place, they have a deep well dug by the government and a hand pump from that well.

And you've got to pump and pump and pump. There's a tap and you collect water. And so you'll see a line of women with their vessels, buckets, carry on their heads and hold it and come there early morning to collect water for the day.

And they all stand in line. And they come to this pump, pump and pump and pump and pump and pump into all their vessels and go away. The next person comes in.

My ministry was like this. Whenever I had to preach, I had to have a great struggle. Pump and pump and pump and pump and pump and some water will come out.

And then next time I have to give a message, somehow pump and pump and pump and pump. It was such an effort. I said, this is certainly not rivers of living water flowing.

This is a hand pump. I'll tell you, you can make out when a, even if a man's a clever preacher, you can make out if it's a hand pump or a river. And if it's a river of living water, or just a river of this guy's cleverness.

Man's cleverness will not bless you. But living water that flows from heaven will change your life. That's what happened to Isaiah.

Let's turn back, Hebrews chapter eight. I hope you're beginning to understand this verse a little better. Hebrews 8, 11.

All will know me the way Isaiah knew me, from the least to the greatest. I want to say that to sisters and brothers, to children and adults. Why do I start with sisters? Usually it is brothers and sisters.

But in the kingdom of God, it is the least to the greatest, right? So I say sisters and brothers, children and adults, least to the greatest. The Lord can send rivers of living water through you. Humble yourself.

Stop saying woe unto you, woe unto you, woe unto you to the others. And see the Lord and say, Lord, woe unto me. There are 101 things wrong in my life, Lord.

Let me judge myself, cleanse myself, so that my heart can be clean. I can't produce living water, but I can make the pipe clean. That's all I can do.

I told the Lord that many times. Lord, I cannot produce one drop of living water, but I'll try my best to keep the channel clean. I'll cleanse myself of the channel.

You pour the water through. Then people won't get dirty water to drink. You know how when you get dirty, filthy water coming out of your tap, what do you do? From the reservoir, it was clean water.

Somewhere along the line, it got filthy, probably in your, the pipes in your house. What do you do then? Don't complain to the corporation of the city. There's nothing wrong with their reservoir.

It's pure water coming from there. Somewhere in your pipe, in your home, the pipes are dirty, rusted. Clean the pipes and clean water will come out to bless everyone around you.

Let's pray. Stop for a moment and think about what you heard today. Bow before the Lord and confess whatever the Lord spoke to you, just in a few words.

If you got to the place where you say, woe is me, may you live there all your days. Help us all, Lord. We are a needy people.

Like the woman at the well, empty inside. We come to you, Lord. You have the living water and we thirst for it.

Give it to us, everyone here. There are many needy people crying out to you right now. Heavenly Father, hear their crying.

You said, I will answer. I will hear and I will answer. Fulfill that.
