True spirituality is about seeking the glory of God in every area of life, not just external actions, but with a motive of seeking God's glory.
In this sermon, the speaker discusses the importance of serving God rather than serving oneself. He highlights the tendency of some individuals, even within the church, to prioritize their own glory rather than glorifying God. The speaker references Jesus' warning to his disciples about praying to be seen by others, emphasizing the need for genuine and sincere prayer. He also criticizes the Pharisees for their obsession with minor details while neglecting more important matters. The speaker concludes by emphasizing the importance of examining one's motives and seeking to serve God wholeheartedly, rather than being caught up in denominational differences.

We have been considering in these days what true spirituality is. Through His power, this is what it means to build with gold, silver. He does not give up the will of God.
He does not seek the will of God in every area. He does not seek for God's power. He can be defeated in His light, and yet full of activity, religious activity, defeated by Satan.
But He doesn't desert it, because maybe He sacrifices. And He does not think primarily of allowing God to let God's light flow through Him to others. He engages in religious activity to ease His conscience, to get others' satisfaction.
And today we want to consider. First of all, we saw, today we want to see. When Jesus was exposing Him, He said, when you do good, don't let others even know about it.
He said, don't let your left hand know. For people to obey that command. You see how He gives so much of His honey, not for the glory of God.
There is no force for it. Anything that is done, however good it is, your arms must be in secret, so that your father, who sees in secret, will reap it. When I look at the amount of activity done by Christians in so many places, one wonders why God doesn't bless and reward them abundantly.
Many people give money to ease their conscience. It's always the principle of the Lord, or offering us a reward. And whenever I do a work, if for example, a preacher tells me, that if you don't give your life to God, be careful, you may have to spend it.
Or if a preacher says, God will bless you, you'll get a hundredfold back. And he gives it. But he is doing this.
There is no force for it. These are the activities of a religious person. Everything he does, whether it's giving money, or praying, or reading the Bible, is always with, what can I get out of it? Can I be protected from judgment? Will it bless my family? Will my children be blessed if I give something to God? There is no difference between a Christian giving like that to God, and a heathen, who also goes to his temple or his church, is one who seeks the glory of God, in everything that he does, of our life, that determines whether we are spiritual or religious.
You see, it's not the external, all of us being the same external actor, but however wrong you may hear me preach, you can never know. It's not the words I speak, the fluency of the speech, as far as God is concerned, He searches the heart. A person can preach, and may not be a spiritual man, but his motive, we have a lot of music cassettes now.
I wonder how many of those songs have been sung. Younger people get some tremendous surprises. He said to them, when you pray, for example, he said, don't be like the heathen.
They pray in the synagogues, by man. And they have that reward. Your brain must be in secret.
So that, your father, verse 6, who sees in secret, will repay you. Now, here is an area where we can also prove, very probably, exactly ourselves, most of us, and if we were to answer ourselves, whether we pray in secret, in the same way as we pray, whether we are the same person before God, whether we pray for the same subject as we pray for, that's what Jesus taught the heathens. When he prays, he is seeking the glory of God in everything.
When he fasts, and yet I have discovered that right up until the depiction of brothers and sisters, motive determines everything as far as two people can do exactly the same, one may be a disciple, that's the thing.
It's not a question of when we are born again, but we are still seeking our own, when God gives us life, one who examines everything he knows, in the light of this commandment, if there is some self-seeking in this, in 2 Corinthians 7, let us pledge, both men and women, 50 years of the pledge, relates to a lot of things, 50 years in the family, and he saw me, there were people who had to, these people, he helped them, selling these dogs and sheep right there, they were not allowed to have the Roman, so here were people who were offering, they wanted a commission of it, they didn't do it without a commission, if you want to earn your living, you better go to the market, when you come to serve me, you cannot serve me, as a professional, you cannot serve me, says the Lord, in order to earn
your living, Jesus did not call Peter and James and John to serve him, to earn their living, he asked them to give up that, and to trust him, and it is because those who trusted him, followed the Lord, without any promise of reaction, God supported them, 100% through the years, Christian service has been corrupted, exactly like those money changers in the temple, we have now, all types of people, and it's become, it's a means of earning a living, it's a salary profession, to people who are serving, and when they become rich, they have to justify their wealth, by saying that when we honour God, and if Jesus were to come into our church, what is the motive, that is the important question, brothers and sisters, we cannot serve God, if our motive is not His motive, whether we are full time
workers, or, cycle workers, it doesn't matter who we are, if the motive, that infures, if we are to be effective, who seek to judge themselves, make the challenge, there is no, limit, in the way God commands us to follow, for any motive, in any area of my life, other than the glory of God, I believe, Jesus said for example, take one area, these words, in my whole life, I've never heard anybody say, no servant, can serve two mothers, and love the other, or even hold the one, and despise the other, and he, he was an atheist, these Christians all said, they all did it, think of Dubai, is there a difference in the motive, the difference is only in the little, take the decision, any day, any day, before God, and yet this person, who has got the right doctrine in baptism, may become God, and
the real issue, this is the truth, I don't believe those things, my doctrine of baptism, he's not believing the glory of God, you see how silly it is, I'm not just speaking that to you, think of what God said, co-workers, they had the right form of baptism, verse 19 says, I hope in the Lord Jesus, the sanctity will be given shortly, so that I may be encouraged, then he says in verse 20, of the same spirit, what is the mark of a religious person, as it was to a spiritual person, he's got all his doctrines right, what is the mark of a spiritual person, fundamentally, that he does not seek his own interest, the glory of God, the kingdom of God, first, in everything, every decision, every decision of his is determined by, that's his spirituality, let's never fool ourselves, that spirituality,
is based on, that's how many believers fool themselves, that's why there's so much of deadness, it's amazing, he didn't say that doctrines were wrong, he didn't say that you've got this doctrine wrong, that doctrine wrong, when, how, what will I get out of it, becomes the motivating factor of their life, and not, what will God get out of it, I believe these are, words, do you think we can sit down today and say, well, I'm like him, whatever my doctrine may be, and the other person who's got half his doctrines wrong, by giving a little more money for God, seeking my own interest, or giving time for God's work, the Lord Jesus Christ came to her, and in all the 50 years that I was a believer, if he didn't change my body, if when I was born again, you are right, I am right, my heart is filled
with desire for truth, you are justified, seek your own interest, do your business, don't pause, when it comes to a verse like this, why did we spend so many hours, studying about baptism, so many hours studying about, speaking in tongues, and something far more important, which may, and there God sees in us, when a person, sit away and speak to us, if I love money Lord, when I have an opportunity to cleanse myself, then I need to go another one job, he can be a baptist, every man who's pure, when I discover I'm not loyal, I need to purify myself, I need to cleanse myself, Lord, that's wrong, let me tell you the words of Jesus Christ, chapter 6 again, verse 7, if you have not been faithful, in the youth of unrighteous man, who will entrust, what is the true religion, what is the true
religion, the nature of God, revelation, the anointing of the Holy Spirit, and here it says, if you are not faithful, with unrighteous man, get the best education, and get the best job, but then, so, when God gives us, unrighteous man, who I am, and I'm not faithful, when I'm being faithful, it does not mean, how much, when I look around, and I look around so many, when I see such a, he's not seeking the glory of God, in everything, pray that prayer of Moses, it's not 90 verse 12, humor, people, who judge, I want to seek your glory, in everything I do, that is the final day, the Lord loves me, for the rightful, and I won't be able to give him a right answer,
