Α.Ὁ. 70-80) ὅτι ὃ vids pov ἀσθενῖ Sivas, P Oxy VIII. rror§ (iv/a.p.— Christian) ταῦτα δέ σοι ἔγραψα vorotca, δ[ιν]ῶς ἔχουσα, πάνυ μὴ δυναμένη ἀναστῆναι ἐκ τῆς κοίτης μου, ὅτι πάνυ δινῶς ἔχω, Sy// δο 211: (Epidaurus—iii/B.c.) οὗτος τὸ[ν] τοῦ ποδὸς δάκτυλον ὑπὸ τοῦ (Ed. ὑπό του) ἀγρίου ἕλκεος δεινῶς διακείμ[εν]ος. For adj. cf. BGU I. 163° (a.p. 108) οὐδὲν δεινὸν ἐγέν[ετο, and from the inscriptions Sy// 5677 (ii/A.D.) μηδὲν αὑτοῖς δεινὸν συνειδότας. Preisighe 4282, a dedication in Latin and Greek of an altar in honour of Hadrian, by a general named Serenus, who had annihilated ‘‘ Agriophagos neqvissimos,” renders this last word by δει[νοτάτους].
