to give oneself completely for, to do anything and everything (a figurative extension of meaning of ἐκδαπανάω ‘to spend completely,’ not occurring in the NT) to do anything and everything to the limit of one’s capacity If one wishes to preserve something of the underlying figurative meaning of this part of 2CO 12:15, one may translate ‘I will gladly spend everything and be completely spent on your behalf.’
