Nδgeli (p. 33) reckons this strong non-classical word as belonging to the higher Κοινή and pointing to Paul s true Hellenism. In 1Co_15:34 , the only place where it occurs in the NT, ἐκνήψατε should have its full force, get sober out of your drunken condition.
