ἐκνήφω. Nageli (p. 33) reckons this strong non-classical word as belonging to the higher Kow® and pointing to Paul’s true Hellenism. In 1 Cor 15%4, the only place where it occurs in the NT, ἐκνήψατε should have its full force, “ get sober out of your drunken condition.”’
